“This…?” Atiya’s face registered surprise.

Panting heavily, Xia Yi stared at the scene for a moment, then burst into ecstatic delight.

“I won, I won, I finally won!!”

The silver dragon princess leapt up in excitement. After so many days of effort, she had at last beaten her own maid at the tail-wrestling game.

“Atiya, you didn’t go easy on me, did you?”

“Not at all, Your Highness,” Atiya replied. “I was competing with you in earnest, just as you commanded. If I held back, it wouldn’t serve the purpose of training. I would never slack off.”

“Good!”

Xia Yi clenched her small hand into a fist. She swished her big silver tail with joy, her long efforts had finally borne fruit.

“Come to think of it, it is rather strange,” Atiya remarked. “Just a short while ago, Your Highness could barely last a few minutes against me. Now you’ve actually surpassed me.”
