After escaping through the secret passage from the Vampire Palace, the World Tree’s seed stopped moving. It was unclear whether Miu Miu’s soul was tired, so Xia Yi put the seed away.

She had thought that once in the Imperial Capital of the Holy Crimson Empire, she could find a way to blend in and slip out.

But she hadn’t managed to move cautiously for long before the Imperial Capital underwent a startling change. Vampire soldiers appeared on every street, enforcing a lockdown, making it impossible to move even a step.

The worst-case scenario might have occurred, she had been discovered.

“We found her! The Silver Dragon Princess is hiding right here!!” The voices of soldiers echoed from outside the alley.

Xia Yi glanced back, soldiers also appeared at the other exit of the alley.
