    Chapter 43: Silly Kid, Run!

Louis did not want to hold back any longer, but before that, he needed to make Helen and Ocris recognize their own level.

This matter had to be done step by step.

By the way, he would also tease that big girl and this little girl.

Otherwise, after going through all the trouble to cross over, spending every day just fighting and leveling up would be so boring it might kill him.

Might as well not have crossed over and just stayed home playing games…

After playing with Apparition for a while, Louis leisurely sat down on the sofa, put his legs up on the coffee table, and started trimming his fingernails while teasing Helen: “Oh, today I went to The Chatterbox during the day and spent the afternoon cracking melon seeds with the editor-in-chief. Seems I accidentally left my Crystal Ball on his desk… Hmm, I can’t quite remember clearly.”

    Helen was stunned.

    The Chatterbox?

That super gossipy newspaper that just the other day published ‘The Scandal Between Your Highness Ocris’s Disciple and the Barriff Goblin Family’?

Helen’s little face instantly turned pale.

The little kitten was about to be blackmailed!

Louis truly was a big bad guy with no good intentions!

Would he really sell this kind of thing as gossip to reporters?

If it were someone else, they would probably just be scaring people, but if it was Louis, he might really do such a thing!

Helen felt she would absolutely never admit to washing Louis’s socks and feet.

    Reporters might not believe it.

People reading the newspaper might not believe it.

But they would just love to talk about this matter.

“L-L-Louis, what Crystal Ball?” Helen’s lips began to tremble.

“Ah, well~ My legs are a bit sore.” Louis patted his legs twice.

Helen scurried over, started massaging his legs, and squeezed out an ugly smile towards Louis: “You didn’t really forget the Crystal Ball there, right? You have the best memory, Louis. Otherwise, otherwise…”

“Oh? What if I did forget?” Louis looked at Helen curiously.

“Sister will definitely kill (“Hmm?”)… Boohoo, please, Louis, don’t scare Helen anymore. This joke is too mean.” Helen rubbed her eyes, pouted and whimpered: “If you’re like this, I won’t be friends with you anymore.”

The past couple of days Helen had been all sunshine and smiles, even making up jokes to mock Louis, but today, she ended up crying out all the laughter from those previous days.

Seeing Helen’s tearful face, Louis couldn’t help but be amused. That was enough for today; it had to be step by step. Gradually build up the habit — look at these two girls, how lazy they usually are! They should do some housework, shouldn’t they?

Helen was still crying here, but when she saw Louis actually still laughing, she couldn’t bear it and wanted to punch him hard, but she raised her fist and didn’t dare to hit him.

“Go get a basin of foot washing water, then clean the Living Room, wash the dishes, and tidy up all those messy things in your room. I’ll let you off today if you do that.”

Helen scurried off. Louis rolled his eyes.

She just gave in that easily?

Couldn’t you put up a bit of a fight, a bit of a struggle?

    Wasn’t this way too unsatisfying?

The older one was more interesting.

It seemed Ocris still thought those two Magic Spells were her own doing and seemed quite proud of them, too.

Seeing Louis wash his own feet, Helen finally brightened up again and happily went to fetch the new grey towel Louis bought from the Washroom.

“Louis, when did you learn Apparition? How come you use it so well?” Helen asked curiously.

“Because my other teacher is better than your teacher.” Louis pointed upwards.

Helen’s mouth fell open: “Louis, you’re so bad! You did it on purpose! You purposely want Sister to wash your feet and socks!”

What a schemer! He was bad through and through!

“What, it looks like you really want to wash them for your sister instead?” Louis looked at Helen in surprise: “Seems like you two sisters get along quite well.”

“Helen and Sister actually do get along quite well.” Helen nodded seriously and slyly while massaging Louis’s legs: “But I think Sister enjoys washing them for you.”

    Louis was shocked.

    Definitely fake sisterly love!

This little traitor with zero loyalty!

“Well then, don’t forget to remind Sister every day.” Louis patted Helen’s head: “Right?”

If this little girl didn’t stir the pot, wouldn’t it be boring? How else could there be a dueling class, or another bet agreement? How else would Ocris call him ‘master’ later?

If she didn’t call him master, wouldn’t it be terribly dull when classes started and she was teaching?

Didn’t Ocris say that even if he passed the Wizard Examination, he still had to attend her classes — it would be best if Louis even rated as a lecturer or professor, then come to her class.

How much face that would give!

    “R-remind Sister?” Helen was stunned.

    Louis was simply too clever!

    So happy.

The more she thought about those two Magic Spells, the more uncomfortable she felt.

Sister was sure to come back in a couple of days anyway, so Helen wouldn’t have to wash socks anymore.

Might as well teach that big bad guy Louis a lesson then!

    Beat him up!

“I will, Louis!” Helen nodded earnestly. In this moment, she felt a sense of mission.

Turning her head, Helen snickered evilly.

This was Louis bringing it on himself, not her actively fanning the flames.

Sister must still be gnashing her teeth over last night’s events, thinking about how to deal with Louis.

Helen decided to add more fuel to the fire, tell Sister everything, let her know just how bad Louis was.

And then tell Sister that Sister Stia really was secretly teaching Louis, so Sister could prepare properly, teach Louis a good lesson, and settle that annoying agreement from last time!

This time, she would make Louis clean the dorm in a maid outfit! And make him meow like a kitten!

Otherwise, she wouldn’t be able to vent her anger!

The great writer Helen decided to prepare some lines to stir things up.

That night, after returning to bed, finishing her lines, and starting to giggle under the covers, Helen ultimately ended up pouting, squatting in the Washroom, washing Louis’s smelly socks.

It wasn’t that her conscience had been awakened, nor that Louis forced her.

She felt restless if she didn’t wash them.

Thankfully Louis washed his feet today, otherwise she’d still be worrying — but probably that chore Louis was saving for Sister.

Presumably, that sister buried in the Library looking things up was also worrying about this matter. And presumably she was even more restless than Helen right now.

She had tried many methods, but why were her Magic Spells so powerful!

    A little proud.

    A little smug.

    So happy.

    And restless.

The only slightly useful thing seemed to be Obliviate, but it wasn’t instant, more treating the symptom than the root cause.

She wondered how many more days she could hold on; after all, that dead girl Helen would go to the Library every day to remind Sister about the foot and sock washing, so the Obliviate was useless anyway.

Now, Helen had finished washing the socks. She ran to the Living Room hoping for some praise. Instead, she saw Louis putting on his shoes by the door, seeming like he was going out again.

    Helen was a bit angry.

She had been so good today, even washed his socks on her own, and Louis hadn’t even noticed!

That stinky guy just walked right out the front door to go fool around — he must be going to the Red Fox Cabin again! That pretty red Wand of his was definitely bought there!

Sister definitely wouldn’t be around these next few days, this stinky guy would surely go out fooling around every day!

“Hmph! Just you wait, I’ll definitely tattle to Sister and make her teach you a lesson!”

Obviously, Helen knew of that place ‘the school doesn’t have such a place,’ and was quite familiar with it. After all, her good friend was the shopkeeper there, Miss Lilith.

The Foxes were a major power in Blackhorn Alley. With these girlfriends around, Helen naturally walked sideways through that Blackhorn Alley.

However, Miss Lilith recently told Helen not to come to Blackhorn Alley because there was a formidable criminal wildly causing trouble everywhere recently. Even that terrifying Voodoo Gang was about to disband.
