Chapter 34 – The Yandere Master’s Little Flower Demon (End)
by Salted FishThe Yandere Master’s Little Flower Demon (End)
Yu Wuxin stood up immediately, as if afraid that even a second’s delay would make her angry.
Xu Xinghe didn’t know how to describe what she was feeling. She let out a sigh. “Ah Yu, you shouldn’t have hidden from me.”
She gently tugged at his sleeve, pulling him a little closer, and curled a strand of his white hair around her finger.
Under Yu Wuxin’s pitiful and humble eyes, Xu Xinghe pressed him down to sit beside her. She needed to have a proper talk with him.
Yu Wuxin instinctively thought Xu Xinghe was going to say the same things his mother had said. His body tensed and he began, “I’m sorry …mmph.”
Before he could finish his apology, Xu Xinghe’s lips silenced him. His eyes went wide, and Xu Xinghe could feel it even with her eyes closed.
She reached out and covered his eyes, using her gentle movements to soothe his uneasy heart.
Yu Wuxin’s Adam’s apple bobbed. This kiss was nothing like the brief and shallow one last time. The series of soft, dense kisses were fierce and urgent. He was repeatedly confirming that she really did not loathe him.
When they finally parted, both their faces were flushed. Xu Xinghe leaned bonelessly against Yu Wuxin’s chest.
“I don’t want to hear you apologize, Ah Yu. I want to hear you say you love me~ okay?”
Yu Wuxin’s hands were clenched into fists inside his sleeves. The words that rose to his lips were swallowed back down. What he really wanted to ask was if she really didn’t hate him?
Yu Wuxin’s voice trembled as he called out, “Xing’er, I love you…” The moment the words left his mouth, his eyes turned red.
“Mm! I heard you, Ah Yu.” Xu Xinghe nodded firmly, her voice steady as she responded to his confession.
“I love Ah Yu too. Whether Ah Yu is a demon or a human, the one I love has always been only Ah Yu.” Under Yu Wuxin’s disbelieving gaze, Xu Xinghe spoke slowly.
Yu Wuxin felt his head buzz. All the sounds of the world faded away, leaving only Xing’er’s words. She loved him, whether he was a demon or a human…
“Drip… drip…”
Tears streamed uncontrollably from Yu Wuxin’s eyes. He was crying?
Looking at Yu Wuxin, whose face was drenched in tears, Xu Xinghe’s heart was filled with tenderness. She cupped his face and gently kissed away the tears at the corners of his eyes.
Yu Wuxin’s face turned red. He stared blankly at her red lips, which were shiny with his tears.
“Why is Xing’er so good to me?” Yu Wuxin’s heart raced. He loved how Xing’er doted on him.
“Silly Ah Yu. I came here for you. Of course I’m going to be good to you!” She rested her chin on his shoulder and spoke softly into his ear.
Yu Wuxin turned those words over and over in his mind. He had never realized before that loving someone could be such a beautiful thing.
“Ah Yu, can you change your hair back?” Xu Xinghe asked curiously. Although he still looked very handsome with white hair, she wanted to accompany him slowly as their hair turned white together over time.
Yu Wuxin thought she was rejecting him. Instantly looking wronged, he wrapped his arms around Xu Xinghe’s waist and said sullenly, “You just said you love me.”
Xu Xinghe immediately understood that he was overthinking again. She whispered an explanation into his ear. When he heard it, his face lit up with excitement.
“Xing’er is so clever. Your husband is foolish.”
Xu Xinghe poked his head with her index finger. This sensitive and suspicious husband of hers, it would take time for him to understand that her love for him was no less than his love for her.
Perhaps there are many flowers in the world exactly like you, but you are my one and only rose — Yu Wuxin
