Chapter 89 – The Yandere, Autistic Young Master’s Sister

Lu Hanchuan was at a loss of what to do. He raised his hand to wipe away her tears, but the more he wiped, the more they fell.
“Don’t… don’t cry.”
Lu Hanchuan stumbled over his words, trying to comfort her, but he had no knowledge of how to do this. He was in a panic, only thinking that he would do anything if it meant Xing Xing would stop crying.
Xu Xinghe lowered her head and calmed down for a moment. Then she raised her small hand and wiped away her own tears. She didn’t want to cry, but a child’s emotions were always especially sensitive.
“Then…” She struggled to suppress her sobs and continued, “Brother Ah Chuan can’t hit people, okay?”
Her eyes were red, and the tip of her nose was also red from crying. Lu Hanchuan had never seen Xing Xing so fragile before. He agreed without hesitation. “Okay.”
Seeing that Lu Hanchuan agreed, she laughed through her tears and then let go of him.
At this time, the teacher walked in. Just now, a classmate was worried and called out to the teacher.
Zhao Sisi was still lying on the ground, her face a mess of tears and snot, clearly terrified out of her wits.
“What happened here?” The homeroom teacher asked sternly.
The homeroom teacher’s surname was Zhou. She was forty-three years old and had been teaching at this prestigious primary school for over twenty years. She carried a naturally strict aura that made all the students very afraid of her.
But Xu Xinghe wasn’t afraid of her. Besides, they hadn’t done anything wrong. Lu Hanchuan had acted to protect her. Fortunately, no real harm was done.
Xu Xinghe firmly took Lu Hanchuan’s small hand and hid him behind her, adopting a protective posture.
Zhao Sisi was still terrified. She kept crying loudly. “Boohoo… Teacher Zhou! Lu Hanchuan hit me! Hurry up and chase him away!”
Hearing this, Teacher Zhou frowned. Her sharp eyes swept over the three of them. She didn’t take Zhao Sisi’s word alone.
Teacher Zhou looked at Xu Xinghe and asked softly again, “Is that so?”
Xu Xinghe shook her head quickly. Lu Hanchuan hadn’t even hit her yet. “No, Teacher Zhou. Brother Hanchuan didn’t hit her.”
“She hit my hand first, look.” Xu Xinghe rolled up her sleeve, revealing her still-red hand.
Teacher Zhou then looked at Zhao Sisi, who was obviously guilty. Her evasive eyes said it all.
Teacher Zhou called all three to her office and gave each of them a half-hour lecture, especially Lu Hanchuan.
“Lu Hanchuan, I know you were trying to protect your sister, but it’s wrong to hit people.” Teacher Zhou was aware of Lu Hanchuan’s autism, so she wanted to give him some extra guidance.
Lu Hanchuan kept his head down and didn’t say a word. He felt the teacher’s words were wrong. People who hurt his sister should be destroyed and punished.
Just as Teacher Zhou was getting thirsty from talking, she asked, “Hanchuan, do you understand that you were wrong?”
Lu Hanchuan was about to shake his head when his sleeve was tugged by Xing Xing. He saw the worry in her eyes.
So he looked up at Teacher Zhou and gave a slight nod.
Teacher Zhou smiled, feeling relieved. She thought her lecture had worked. She remembered that the parents she had called should be arriving soon.
“Knock, knock…” A series of rhythmic knocks sounded.
Teacher Zhou got up to open the door. Outside was Zhao Sisi’s mother. She was dressed in designer brands, and her large gold bracelet was dazzlingly bright.
“Zhao Sisi’s mother, please come in.”
Zhao Sisi’s mother’s sharp eyes swept over the three children, then settled on her own daughter.
Seeing that she was still sobbing, she exploded with anger. “Teacher Zhou, my Sisi has always been the most well-behaved! Look at how frightened she is!”
Hearing this, Teacher Zhou looked at the children with some difficulty. The Zhao family had invested in quite a few libraries at this school.
Zhao Sisi’s mother continued without caring for anything, “They must apologize to my daughter! When their parents get here, they have to apologize too. They raised such ill-bred children. They deserve to apologize.”
Teacher Zhou felt very uncomfortable hearing this, but she felt powerless. Still, she wanted to try one more time. “Zhao Sisi’s mother, all three children were a little at fault here. Can’t we just let it go?”
Hearing this, Zhao Sisi’s mother glared viciously at Teacher Zhou. “Our Zhao family has donated so much money, is this the attitude of your school now?”
Xu Xinghe held Lu Hanchuan tightly, protecting him. This Zhao Sisi’s mother was clearly not a good person either. Teacher Zhou had tried her best.
With her backup now present, Zhao Sisi immediately glared at Xu Xinghe triumphantly. “You’re finished!”
