“Why? Why do I still have to wear girls’ clothes to go to Sakura Academy now?” Upon hearing Bai Yuxuan’s words, Qianxue instantly bristled, slamming the table and standing up. He had finally regained his freedom, did Bai Yuxuan have any idea how hard his life had been before? “So,” Bai Yuxuan walked up beside him, leaned down, and whispered in his ear, “if you want them to stay quiet, the only way is to dress as a girl. Dressing as a girl can solve all your problems.”

“Dressing as a girl can solve all your problems…” Like a person possessed, Qianxue repeated the words mechanically.

That evening, Qianxue did not return to the Sakura Academy dormitory, instead, he spent the night at the hospital with his mother. The next morning, he arrived at the school gate, where Bai Yuxuan was already waiting for him.

“Let’s go.” He nodded slightly, and the two walked side by side toward their classroom, his heart full of apprehension. Having left without a word, he didn’t know how to face his classmates and good friends.

When he reached the classroom door and saw that the lights in his class were still off, he breathed a small sigh of relief, thinking he had arrived early and his classmates hadn’t come yet, that would give him time to prepare himself mentally. But the moment he stepped into the classroom, the lights suddenly blazed on.

“Ouyang Qianxue, welcome back!” The classroom was packed with a sea of people, not only his and Bai Yuxuan’s classmates, but also juniors from his clubs, Wang Qian, Ning Caiwei, Duan Haichen, and many others.

“Qianxue!” Ning Caiwei, tears streaming down her face, rushed toward him and threw her arms around him, burying her head in his chest and wailing. Meanwhile, Duan Haichen was wiping his eyes, clearly moved, but too shy to embrace Qianxue like Ning Caiwei had, so he could only stand there and gaze longingly.

Seeing Duan Haichen’s envious look, Qianxue felt as though he had gained an affectionate younger brother. He smiled wryly and reached out to pat Duan Haichen’s head, at which Duan Haichen instantly reverted to his usual silly grin, looking exactly like a loyal dog whose master had returned to pet him.

But Qianxue hadn’t patted him for long before his hand was yanked back by Ning Caiwei, who was still in his arms.

“Qianxue, don’t touch him, you might catch lice.”

“Don’t talk nonsense, Senior Ning! I heard yesterday that Senior Ouyang was coming back, so I got up early and washed my hair twice!”

Hearing their exchange, everyone burst into laughter. The once-dull campus life that had set in after Qianxue’s departure had now returned to its former lighthearted and cheerful atmosphere.

Seeing Qianxue greeting his classmates one by one, Wang Qian felt deeply relieved. She walked over to Bai Yuxuan and said, “Thank you, thank you for bringing Qianxue back.”

But those simple words of gratitude caused an uproar in the classroom.

“What? You mean Ouyang was brought back by Bai Yuxuan?” The classmates swarmed around Wang Qian and Bai Yuxuan.

“Bai Yuxuan, what’s going on? Does that mean there’s something between you and Ouyang…?”

At this moment, Ouyang Qianxue was filled with panic.
