Volume 3 + Chapter 46: Bai Yuxuan Shows No Mercy  

Just then, Qianxue had just finished the final round of the national piano competition. As he was about to take a short rest on a chair in the lounge, his phone suddenly rang.  

“Hello, Mom? What’s wrong?” Seeing the caller ID, Ouyang Qianxue quickly answered the phone.  

“Qianming, I wouldn’t be contacting you if it weren’t something very important. Lately, I’ve noticed that Qianyue seems off. She has something on her mind but won’t tell me. And the other day, when she was wiping me down, I saw bruises on her hands. I suspect she’s being bullied at school.”  

“What!” Ouyang Qianxue, who had been feeling tired, immediately perked up. Recalling the phone call Qianyue had made to him that day, he understood at once.  

“Alright, Mom. I’ll rush over to Qianyue’s place right now. Don’t worry!” With that, Qianxue dashed out of the competition hall.  

“Qianxue, where are you going? The award ceremony hasn’t started yet,” the team leader stopped him and asked.  

“Teacher, I have something extremely urgent to deal with. Please take me back immediately, or else I won’t participate in a single future competition!”  

Meanwhile, in the small grove at Xijiang City’s First High School.  

“Don’t think that just because my father’s business is going through a temporary rough patch, you can do whatever you want to me. My sisters won’t stand for it!” The girl who had once been so arrogant and domineering toward Qianyue could now only try to protect herself with such threats.  

“Your sisters? Ever since your father fell from grace, they’ve been desperately trying to distance themselves from you. Because right now, the entire school hates the daughter of that unscrupulous merchant, they don’t want to be dragged down by you.”  

“That’s impossible! Our relationship before was clearly…”

Go take a look at yourself in the mirror!” After saying that, one of them kicked her in the stomach, knocking her to the ground.  

Thus, over the next hour, this girl finally experienced what it felt like to be bullied.  

“Hmph, we’ll stop here for today. We’ll come back to play with you again tomorrow.” By then, her face had been beaten until it was as swollen as a pig’s head.  

Hearing that they would come back tomorrow, the girl was terrified. She scrambled on hands and knees to find her teacher, begging for protection and asking that the students who had bullied her be punished. However…   

“You say they bullied you? How is that possible? The students of Xijiang City’s First High School are all exemplary in both character and academics, they would never do such a thing! That injury on your face looks like you fell down by yourself. Now that news about your father has come out, your reputation is already bad. Don’t lie further and ruin it even more.” With that, the teacher walked out the door.  

Hearing the teacher’s words, the girl was stunned. She never expected her teacher to say such a thing! Only then did she realize that she was completely alone, with no one to turn to.  

“Um… if you’ve already taught her a lesson, perhaps you could let her off the hook…” Inside the principal’s office, the principal spoke very respectfully to Bai Yuxuan.  

“No way. That girl bullied my sister-in-law for so long. Letting her off so easily would be too lenient. And Principal, think carefully. Now that this girl’s father’s reputation is so foul, if word gets out that the daughter of that unscrupulous merchant has been bullying an innocent girl on campus for a long time, your school’s reputation as a model school of Xijiang City might not survive, don’t you think? For the record, I have evidence!”  

With that, Bai Yuxuan tossed photos of Qianyue’s bruised body onto the principal’s desk.  

“I understand! The school will simply ignore this girl’s situation, is that acceptable?”  

“It seems the principal is a reasonable man.” With that, Bai Yuxuan left the principal’s office.  

“Young master, what’s next? Just keep bullying her like this?” Xiao Liu asked as she saw Bai Yuxuan come out.  

“Sticking to the same routine is boring. Just watch.”  

In the following days, the girl’s life grew harder and harder. The students who had previously bullied her would torment her whenever they saw her, and the other students around her not only showed no sympathy but even cheered. She was like a rat scurrying across the street.  

By then, the rumors about Ouyang Qianyue had stopped circulating among the students. Instead, everyone was talking about this girl and her father’s despicable deeds.  

“I have something to say to you.”  

Just when she was at her most desperate, her former boyfriend, Senior Wu Fan, suddenly sought her out.  

“I’ve never been able to let you go in my heart. No matter what others say about you, no matter how they curse you, I choose to stand by your side.” When the two of them reached an empty classroom, her ex-boyfriend said this to her gently.  

Hearing Wu Fan’s words, a glimmer of hope ignited in her otherwise despairing heart.  

“Senior Wu Fan, you’re all I have now. Please don’t leave me.” The girl burst into tears and hugged Wu Fan.

“What condition?”

Don’t worry, no matter how terrible what you did was, I’ll still accept you, as long as you tell me the truth!”  

Without a second thought, the girl told Wu Fan everything about how she had bullied Ouyang Qianyue, including how she had falsely accused Qianyue of stealing her boyfriend and how she had fabricated Qianyue’s family background. 

After she told him, Wu Fan got back together with her just as he had promised, and they became boyfriend and girlfriend again.  

But she never imagined that during the lunch break, the school’s broadcast station would play a recording of her conversation with Wu Fan to the entire school.  

“Senior Wu Fan, what is this…?” She rushed to the door of Wu Fan’s classroom to demand an explanation, but she saw Wu Fan talking with a handsome boy who looked like a star. So she hid around the corner to eavesdrop.  

“Is this enough? I did as you asked and recorded everything you wanted to know from her. You promised that if I did what you said, you wouldn’t revoke my athletic student recommendation spot!”  

“Of course. I keep my word.”  

Hearing this, the girl finally understood, Senior Wu Fan had only been threatened with the loss of his recommendation spot, using the pretense of dating to trick her into talking. At that moment, she fell into utter despair.  

Then Bai Yuxuan looked toward where the girl was hiding and smiled. She had known from the very beginning that the girl was eavesdropping.  

At this point, Bai Yuxuan had finally achieved her goal of killing two birds with one stone. Not only had she made the entire school understand that Qianyue had been framed, but she had also made the girl who had bullied Qianyue pay a heavy price.
