Volume 3 + Chapter 45: The Beginning of Revenge

“This, young master, is the personal information of those girls who participated in bullying Qianyue.” Xiao Liu then handed a stack of documents to Bai Yuxuan.

“Oh, so this is the girl who led the bullying against Qianyue!” After taking the documents, Bai Yuxuan fixed a sharp gaze on the girl’s photo and began flipping through her file.

“Oh, so she’s his daughter.” Upon seeing the father’s name, a flicker of contempt passed through Bai Yuxuan’s eyes.

“What’s wrong, young master? Do you know this person?”

“Of course I do. That year, taking advantage of the flood in his hometown, he hoarded relief supplies and sold them at inflated prices, making a fortune off the nation’s misfortune. Hmph, and that scumbag only moved to Xijiang City because he was afraid of retaliation. Hmph, neither father nor daughter is any good!”

“So how do you plan to deal with her?” Xiao Liu asked from the side.

“Of course, I’ll give her a taste of her own medicine. At such a young age, her methods are already vicious enough, she caused Qianyue immense physical and mental pain. But in the end, she’s just an ordinary student, her tricks are nothing special. That’s fine, though, I’ll personally teach her how to completely destroy a person’s body and mind. And of course, she’ll experience it through her own body and mind!”

With that, Bai Yuxuan showed a cold, cruel smile.

“Next, you’ll prepare everything as I say.” Bai Yuxuan then laid out her plan to Xiao Liu.

“Understood. I’ll get it done right away.”

“Wait.” Just as Xiao Liu was about to leave, Bai Yuxuan called her back.

    “Is there something else?”

    “How is Qianyue doing?”

“I’ve already hired the best psychiatrist in the city to help her. Although this incident has left a considerable shadow on her heart, that child is strong. According to the doctor, she should be able to recover from this before too long.”

“That’s good. By the time Qianxue returns, I want this matter completely settled. After all, I don’t want to see a worried look on Qianxue’s face, because the sight of her smiling is what moves me the most.” Bai Yuxuan then clenched her fists.

Meanwhile, inside Xijiang City’s First High School, the girls who had bullied Qianyue were gathered together.

“Boss, I heard that Ouyang Qianyue hasn’t come to school for a long time.”

“Hmph, has that girl finally reached her limit at school?” The leading girl wore a smug smile.

“But… what if something happened to her and the school investigates… then we…” The other girls showed a hint of worry.

“What are you afraid of? At worst, my father will step in. I’ve got your backs!” the leading girl said confidently.

“Yeah, we have the boss backing us up!”

At that moment, these girls were still gloating over their previous actions, completely unaware that misfortune was about to befall them.

The next day, the girl who had bullied Qianyue went to school as usual.

    “Hey, have you heard?”

    “Yeah, it’s her.”

She noticed two students behind her pointing and whispering. At first, she didn’t think much of it, but to her surprise, as time passed, more and more students around her were gossiping. And then…

“Hey, boss, you need to see this!” Right after school, her lackeys rushed to her with panicked expressions.

“Boss, someone posted early this morning on the school’s forum and bulletin board claiming that your father made his fortune off a national disaster more than ten years ago. And the post has your personal information!”

“What?!” The girl who had led the bullying quickly checked the school forum and bulletin board on her phone. Everywhere she looked, people were cursing her. Even worse, someone had revealed that the news about her father’s disaster profiteering had already made it to the headlines!

“Impossible! Someone is spreading rumors! I’ll have my dad find out who’s spreading these lies!” As soon as school ended, the girl rushed home.

But the moment she stepped inside, she was stunned. The house was empty. Her father sat slumped on the floor, his face deathly pale.

“Dad, what’s going on? Why is the house…” The girl asked her father with disbelief.

“My company went bankrupt, and I’m drowning in debt. I’ve mortgaged everything we own, including this house we live in. So starting tomorrow, you’ll have to stay at the school dormitory.”

“What about Mom?” The girl asked her father, trembling.

“Your mother ran off with someone else when she found out I went bankrupt. It’s all my fault. I should never have taken that dirty money!” Her father slammed his fist on the floor and cursed bitterly.

“No, this isn’t real. Dad, you’re joking with me, right?”

But her father only shook his head helplessly and walked into his room, leaving the girl frozen in shock.

Back at the Bai family mansion, Bai Yuxuan watched the news of the bankruptcy of the bullying girl’s father’s company with great satisfaction. In truth, merely exposing his past misdeeds wouldn’t have caused the company to collapse so quickly.

Bai Yuxuan had manipulated things behind the scenes, pressuring the individuals and companies that had invested in the girl’s father, forcing them to withdraw their funds all within a single day.

“Young master, they’re here.” Xiao Liu whispered in Bai Yuxuan’s ear.

    “Come in!”

After Bai Yuxuan spoke, dozens of people in various attires entered the reception hall. Some were workers from Bai family-owned enterprises, some were technicians, and even a few junior managers from the Bai Group.

“I don’t know if you’ve seen this news. If not, you can take a look now. Do you know why I called you here today?”

“Please tell us, Young Master Bai,” the leader of the group said respectfully.

“This unscrupulous businessman is utterly despicable. He made his fortune off a national disaster. Now that he’s fallen, his daughter still dares to act so arrogantly. A few days ago, she openly bullied the younger sister of a friend of mine. And she goes to the same school as your children, Xijiang City’s First High School. You’re all smart people. I don’t think I need to tell you what to do next, do I?”

The next day, the girl who had bullied Qianyue dragged her weary body to school. Clearly, she hadn’t recovered from the shock of the previous day. After all, overnight, she had gone from being a rich man’s daughter to an ordinary person.

But before she even reached the school building, she was surrounded by a group of people and forcibly dragged to the very grove where she had bullied Qianyue.

“What are you doing?” The girl looked at the dozen or so aggressive people with growing fear.

“What are we doing?” The leading student slapped her across the face.

“Your father did something so heartless, and you still have the nerve to come to school?” She looked at the student who had hit her in disbelief. Since when would anyone dare to hit her?

“What are you staring at? You got a problem? Let me tell you, we’ve put up with you for a long time. Back when your father was in power, we didn’t dare do anything. But now that he’s finished, no one can protect you.”

Only then did the girl begin to feel true fear.
