“Bai Yuxuan? Why is he with Senior Ouyang?”
Upon seeing Bai Yuxuan beside Ouyang Qianxue, Duan Haichen couldn’t help but clench his fists.
“Ah, I see. Senior Ouyang must be being threatened by him.”
Just then, the two walked up to a car at the school gate. Bai Yuxuan opened the door and was about to help Ouyang Qianxue into the car.
“Don’t you dare!”
Seeing the senior he admired about to fall into the clutches of evil, Duan Haichen could no longer remain calm. He stepped forward to rush at them, but just then, he suddenly saw Ouyang Qianxue look back and give Bai Yuxuan a gentle smile, an expression both tender and natural.
At that moment, Duan Haichen’s body froze as if turned to ice. Even after the two had driven away, he did not take a second step.

Meanwhile, in the car. As soon as she got in, Bai Yuxuan opened the bag of cookies that Qianxue had made for her and began eating them with great relish.
“Hey, didn’t we say we were going to eat a meal? Why are you already opening the cookies?”
Seeing Bai Yuxuan start eating the cookies, Ouyang Qianxue chided her.
“Because I can go to the place we’re eating anytime, but cookies you made with your own hands are not easy to come by.”
“What’s so hard about it? We’re friends. All you have to do is ask.”
“Is that so? Then I’ll ask you to make them every day from now on.”
Bai Yuxuan said while munching on a cookie.
“Do you want them every day? And won’t you get thirsty just eating cookies?”
With that, Qianxue handed her a bottle of water.
“Of course not. These cookies are crispy and delicious, with a rich milky fragrance. Even the imported premium cookies people give my father aren’t as good as yours.”
“You’re exaggerating.”
“Young master, Miss Ouyang, we’ve arrived.”
Just as the two were enjoying their conversation, the car pulled up in front of a five-star hotel.

With a response, Bai Yuxuan put down the bag, now completely empty, not even a crumb left, got out of the car, and walked around to Qianxue’s side to open the door for him.

Ouyang Qianxue’s voice grew quieter as he spoke.
“Did you say something?”
“Nothing! How about I just grab a quick bite at some other restaurant and wait for you here?”

“If you don’t accompany me for this meal, I’ll have no appetite at all.”
Ignoring his protests, she pulled him directly into the hotel.
The moment the two entered the hotel, they immediately drew the attention of those around.

“It really is. And the girl next to him is so beautiful.”

The hotel manager had been waiting in the lobby. Upon seeing Bai Yuxuan, he immediately came forward to welcome them.
“Have you prepared everything as I requested?”
“Of course. The dishes were just brought out according to the time you estimated, and the beverages have been carefully selected. I guarantee you a wonderful dining experience.”
With that, the hotel manager opened the door to the private room. The table was already laden with a dazzling array of fine dishes, sashimi, shark fin, all sorts of high-end delicacies.

Ouyang Qianxue curled his fingers into claws and put on what he thought was a ferocious expression.
But to Bai Yuxuan, he looked like a little kitten with its fur standing on end, adorable. With a “pfft,” she burst out laughing.
“What’s so funny!”
Qianxue slapped the table and demanded.
“I’m not laughing. As the heir of the Bai family, I have undergone strict training since childhood. Normally, I absolutely never break character in front of others. Unless I can’t help it, hahahaha!”

Ouyang Qianxue felt like throwing a plate at Bai Yuxuan’s face.
After the meal, Bai Yuxuan took Qianxue to the area near the commercial street.

“We’re here.”
