“No! That’s impossible!”

At this moment, after hearing Bai Yuxuan’s explanation, Lin Tianyu’s face turned ashen. The smug expression he had worn earlier had completely vanished.

“Whether you believe it or not, that is the truth. You thought you had stripped me of my right to inherit, but in reality, everything you did amounted to nothing more than futile effort.”

After finishing her explanation, Bai Yuxuan smiled calmly at Lin Tianyu.

“T-That’s… terrifying. You actually predicted in advance the questions those people in power at the Bai Group would ask! Bai Yuxuan, you’re nothing short of a monster!”

Lin Tianyu trembled as he pointed at Bai Yuxuan.

“Looks like you’ve finally understood the gap between us. But this time, you went so far as to provoke me directly, so I trust you’ve prepared yourself mentally for the consequences?”

“No! I, Lin Tianyu, haven’t lost yet!”

Lin Tianyu roared maniacally, swinging his fist straight toward Bai Yuxuan’s face. Bai Yuxuan sidestepped smoothly and countered with a backhand punch to his right cheek, snapping his head sharply to the side.

“You still won’t give up?”

Bai Yuxuan said as she withdrew her fist.

However, despite taking the blow squarely to the face, Lin Tianyu did not budge in the slightest. Instead, he burst out laughing.

“I say, Young Master Bai, why does your punch feel so light today?”

Lin Tianyu turned his head back and wiped a thin streak of blood from the corner of his mouth.

“Looks like all that bravado earlier couldn’t hide the fact that fighting dozens of people drained most of your stamina. Judging by that punch just now, you don’t have much strength left, do you?”

Before Bai Yuxuan could recover from her surprise, Lin Tianyu seized the opening and drove a knee viciously into her abdomen. The impact forced her back several steps until her back slammed into a storage rack inside the room. Blood seeped from the corner of her mouth.

“Bai Yuxuan!”

Ouyang Qianxue shouted anxiously from where he was tied to the chair.

“Hmph. I know you’re skilled in martial arts, Bai Yuxuan, but I trained under an Asian combat champion for several years myself. I’m nothing like those low-class thugs outside.”

As he spoke, Lin Tianyu tore off his shirt.

His muscles were powerfully built, and his height of over 1.8 meters made him look nothing like a mere sixteen-year-old boy.

Bai Yuxuan refused to be outdone. She wiped the blood from her lips and stood up again, her expression cold and composed.

Seeing that Bai Yuxuan could still stand, Lin Tianyu immediately lunged forward and delivered a flying kick. Bai Yuxuan dodged, but the kick smashed into the rack behind her. The metal support was actually snapped clean in two. Lin Tianyu gave her no chance to breathe, two heavy punches followed immediately. Bai Yuxuan barely managed to evade them, yet the wooden crate beside her was shattered to pieces by his fists.

After several exchanges, it was clear that Lin Tianyu held the advantage in raw strength, while Bai Yuxuan surpassed him in reaction speed and agility. Not only could she evade his beast-like assaults, she could also counterattack whenever she found an opening.

However, Bai Yuxuan had already expended far too much stamina in the earlier battles. Now her strength and speed were steadily declining, and both attacking and dodging were becoming increasingly difficult. Lin Tianyu, on the other hand, though struck multiple times, possessed terrifying endurance thanks to his robust build. As time passed, his advantage grew more and more pronounced.

“If you were at your peak, I wouldn’t be confident I could beat you. But facing a completely exhausted you, one who’s already taken a knee strike from me, you stand no chance. I thought this game would end with my total defeat, but I never expected fate to grant me such a precious opportunity to bring you down.”

After saying this, Lin Tianyu launched another ferocious assault. Once he landed a solid punch, he fully seized the initiative, raining rapid blows down on Bai Yuxuan like a mad dog. Bai Yuxuan could only raise her arms in front of her, defending passively.

Seeing this, Ouyang Qianxue was frantic with worry, yet completely helpless due to being bound. At that moment, his gaze fell on the broken metal rack Lin Tianyu had kicked apart earlier. He noticed that the snapped edge was extremely sharp and positioned just within reach of his hands. Slowly and quietly, he began inching his body toward it.

Meanwhile, the fight between Lin Tianyu and Bai Yuxuan was clearly nearing its conclusion. Under Lin Tianyu’s relentless punches, the arms Bai Yuxuan used to block began to tremble. Then, in a moment of carelessness, she was tripped by fallen goods on the floor. Her guard was wide open.

Veins bulging on his forehead, Lin Tianyu gathered all his strength and swung, 

“Stop right there!”

A voice suddenly rang out from Lin Tianyu’s side, followed instantly by a surge of pain in his abdomen.

It turned out that Ouyang Qianxue had freed himself and used the collapsed rack as cover to sneak up beside Lin Tianyu. A powerful rear kick slammed straight into his stomach.

“Gh, cough!”

Caught completely off guard, Lin Tianyu collapsed into a squat, hacking violently.

“Bai Yuxuan, are you alright?”

Ouyang Qianxue hurried forward to check on her injuries.

“I don’t need concern from a stranger who insists on keeping their distance from me.”

Bai Yuxuan replied coldly.

“Your arm is already bruised badly, there’s a chance it’s fractured. Don’t force yourself at a time like this.”

Ouyang Qianxue said as he rolled up her sleeve.

“I told you to leave it alone!”

Bai Yuxuan snapped, shaking his hand away.

“Whether you want it or not, you’re going to behave.”

Ouyang Qianxue said sternly, gripping her arm and gently pressing on the bruised area to check for fractures.

“Are you two really pretending I don’t exist? Flirting right in front of me, aren’t you bold?”

A suffocating voice suddenly came from behind Ouyang Qianxue. He spun around, only to find Lin Tianyu standing there once again, without knowing when he had gotten so close.

The instant Ouyang Qianxue turned, Lin Tianyu’s knee slammed into his abdomen. One kick sent him flying, crashing heavily to the ground with a dull thud. Ouyang Qianxue struggled to rise and spat out a mouthful of blood.

“Ouyang Qianxue, you’re just too gentle. If you’d struck my vital point earlier, I probably wouldn’t be standing right now.”

Seeing Ouyang Qianxue injured, seeing the man who once gave her warmth in the cold rain struck down, Bai Yuxuan felt her blood ignite. In that instant, she forgot all the exhaustion and pain.

She charged forward and smashed her head straight into Lin Tianyu’s face. He collapsed to the ground, blood spraying from his nose. But Bai Yuxuan had no intention of stopping there. Riding atop him, she unleashed a furious barrage of punches to his face.

“S-Stop… if you keep going… he’ll die. You’ll be in serious trouble if that happens…”

Only after hearing Ouyang Qianxue’s weak voice did Bai Yuxuan snap back to her senses. By then, Lin Tianyu beneath her had already been beaten beyond recognition, his face swollen like a pig’s head.
