Chapter 63: Steaming Hot
by WuWangChapter 63: Steaming Hot
After finishing lunch at noon, Louis sent Helen back and, by the way, left her a targeted book list, suggesting she read more when she had time.
On his way back to the office, Louis’ eyes suddenly twitched slightly, and he looked up in surprise.
He looked towards his office through many walls and floors. He saw several male Foxes and human Wizards sneaking into his office right ‘under his nose’. They started rummaging through some of his belongings.
‘Looks like they are looking for my items to cast spells. Were they sent by Lilith and the others? But no, didn’t they already take my things?’
‘Maybe they are admirers? They are quite thoughtful. It seems these little foxes are quite popular.’
Louis decided to help them.
He deliberately dawdled for a while, not returning to the office until after those male Wizards had finished stealing.
Sure enough, not long after, curses started coming one after another.
Most of these curses were of the prank variety, but they were all quite nasty.
At the time, Louis was lying on the old man’s rocking chair on the balcony, sunbathing. He suddenly felt a bit itchy all over. After scratching, he opened his eyes and looked towards certain areas of the Academy City, seeing the distant scenes clearly.
‘Looks like these male Wizards released them.’
‘Those girls are all quite cunning. They know ordinary Magic can’t deal with the Magic Mirror. They probably aren’t so stupid as to tease me with such trash spells.’
‘So it seems these male Wizards acted rashly without knowing the situation? So foolish and they still want to chase girls…’
Louis shook his head, took out the Crystal Ball, and used a prophecy spell.
Then, all sorts of information about everyone who had cast spells on him appeared in the Crystal Ball.
And through this information, Louis could mimic the effect of the Mirror Demon spell, either absorbing and blocking these curses or reflecting them back.
After all the information appeared, Louis got up and went to the desk, making a list of the curses and the people who released them.
He wasn’t in a hurry to retaliate, because these curses were too unimaginative. After waiting a bit, he finally encountered a few really nasty ones. The worst was from a tall, handsome male Wizard—seemed to be named Bob.
He was quite skilled, actually knowing the Infatuation spell. The effect was quite interesting too—go to the cafeteria in over ten minutes and eat ‘Oli-gee’ in public.
Louis casually returned an Infatuation spell back at him, granting his wish.
Then he picked a few others who had used Infatuation on him and returned the spells one by one, all set to trigger in over ten minutes.
Next, Louis took a Voodoo Doll out of his sleeve. After pinching it with his hand, it turned into a fragile Porcelain Doll. This Porcelain Doll looked very cute and seemed to be the style that Ocris liked.
Immediately after, Louis, like shuffling Playing Cards, held it at the left side of the desk and pulled it to the right. A whole row of Porcelain Dolls appeared on the desk.
Then, Louis casually picked up one Porcelain Doll from among them and let go. It fell to the floor. The Porcelain Doll shattered on the spot.
If Harold were standing here now, his jaw would have dropped in shock.
After counting the number of Porcelain Dolls, Louis nodded. Then, while cross-referencing the list and Magic he had recorded, he held a Wand in one hand and tapped each doll, adding some special spells. This way, when he used the Mirror Demon curse, the Porcelain Dolls would only absorb the spells. Only when a Porcelain Doll shattered would the spell backlash onto the caster.
Today, he was going to teach these people a proper lesson. Teach them how witchcraft is really used.
‘The Principal seems to have been paying attention to the disputes between the Yordles and the Foxes lately. And Stuart once revealed secrets about the Academy, saying the Principal’s ‘bird student’ often flies to the tree outside the Fox Lounge window and stays there. These few moves are just right to show Principal Oliver.’
Frankischko was Oliver’s student. Louis suspected the Principal had some real books in his possession—that guy might well be a college student.
Louis planned to use this matter, through the Yordles, to become the Principal’s student—that is, Ocris’s classmate.
Also, although the Yordles didn’t have powerful backing in the upper echelons of the Ministry of Magic, they were very famous and very capable among the Agent ranks of the Ministry—and there were many ‘Reformists’ among them.
Relying on just twelve Dark Wizards wasn’t enough to get by in the Ministry of Magic. Louis intended to slowly draw the Yordle race to his side.
As for those Foxes—starting today, the children of the Ministry’s high officials, the scions of the great noble Fox families—these official and noble second generations would all call him grandpa.
…
After Bob secretly finished his work, he found his Infatuation spell had already taken effect. He showed a confident smile and returned to the Lounge area with his followers.
Seeing Miss Lilith there forcing a smile and talking with everyone, Bob’s heart wrenched painfully.
He closed his eyes, took several deep breaths, and when he opened them again, a sunny smile was already on his face.
Sitting at the central table in the Lounge, a group of people, with Bob as their leader, accompanied him in listening to the stories told by Lilith and the others.
Bob and the others felt heartbroken.
They didn’t know what that person had done, but Bob could see that the young ladies’ eyes were all red, and their behavior was very strange.
They didn’t dare sit on chairs, walked with a slight limp, and what made Bob and the others even more distressed was that their voices were hoarse when they spoke, and there were rope marks on their wrists and ankles! (The little foxes had cast binding and hanging spells on themselves).
“Actually, actually we just got a spanking, then danced a bit, and rode… ahem, in front of Helen… don’t, don’t overthink it, really.” Seeing Bob’s eyes burning with anger, Zinnia hurriedly said: “Don’t tell her I told you, Lilith is a bit embarrassed…”
After saying that, Zinnia couldn’t help but turn her head away and wipe her tears—what do you have to be embarrassed about? I was the first to ride the unicycle in front of Helen, okay?
You all rode tricycles!
I even got praised when I juggled balls, you didn’t juggle as well as me… sob sob.
Thinking of this, Zinnia nearly cried out loud, already covering her mouth and turning away.
Bob and the others’ hearts sank. Their faces turned pale.
Lilith, who was sitting on the table telling the story of the office battle, heard the whispering here, turned her head, glared at Zinnia, then forced a smile at Bob: “It was just a beating, no big deal. That guy not only knows the Magic Mirror, his strength is also terrifyingly great. He charged and bumped into me… ouch… Zinnia, get me a cushion, my butt got bumped… why are you all looking at me like that? He bumped it! Bumped!”
Bob closed his eyes painfully. When Bob opened them again, in his grim smile, his eyes burned fiercely with flames of hatred.
She’s still hiding the truth from me…
How could it possibly be just getting a spanking on the butt, dancing a bit, riding a unicycle, and juggling balls there?!
You’re not circus monkeys!
At the very least, there must have been a striptease, right? Usually, those who owe debts perform like that in this Lounge, don’t they?
And that whole ‘Witches Gone Wild’ thing…
Say no more, I already know!
No rush… this is just an appetizer. In the afternoon, Daniel and the other four will be back. They are dating Zinnia and the others. This matter won’t end here.
It has always been us tormenting others, no one has ever insulted us like this!
Ocris’s disciple… this time, we must properly meet this brat who doesn’t know his place!
Suddenly, Bob felt maybe it was time to go eat—he wasn’t hungry, but weren’t Lilith and the others?
“Let’s go, everyone, let’s have lunch. Later in the cafeteria, there will be a good show.” After saying that, Bob winked at his Goddess, Miss Lilith.
Many gentlemen knew what Bob had done. Hearing these words, they couldn’t help but look at each other meaningfully and burst into loud laughter—looks like some fool was going to have bad luck today.
It has always been us bullying others. Who has eaten such a daring leopard’s heart to dare provoke our Foxes?!
No matter what, after watching the performance, the ladies will definitely be happy again.
The many gentlemen were being mysterious, but the few ladies were a bit confused.
“My dear Miss Lilith. Let’s go, we’ll eat in the cafeteria.” Bob made a very gentlemanly gesture. At this moment, looking at the pure holy lotus in his heart, he felt his own heart become even purer: “Later, the food might not be hot.”
…
Seeing it was already past twelve, the dishes were basically all served, and the students and Wizards staying at the school had already taken their seats and started eating.
Since only a few cafeterias were open during the holidays, the dining hall was already packed, with no seats left.
But the Foxes acted as if they didn’t see it, chatting as they walked towards the best spot in the center of the dining hall.
Many people originally sitting there lowered their heads and left when they saw this group approaching. Only a few greedy Yordles didn’t notice who had come and were still eating and drinking heartily.
Originally, amidst the gentlemen’s humorous conversation and being the center of attention, Lilith and the others’ moods had improved quite a bit. But now, seeing these little Yordles and Goblins, they couldn’t help but frown.
Seeing these little Yordles reminded her of those tricycles!
“These ugly dwarves are getting more and more out of line.” Seeing Lilith frown, a few gentlemen said unhappily.
Several strong Fox male Wizards went up and slapped the Yordles on the head one by one. Bob even directly used a few prank Magic Spells, making those poor little guys stagger around like drunk clowns, holding the backs of their heads while doing a tap dance, taking off their clothes as they ran away bare-bottomed, crying loudly.
As they left, they shouted two tough lines: “Just you wait till after work, sob sob, I’ll go get my boss, have the guts to not leave after work!”
They talked tough, but their legs moved fast. Seeing the Foxes about to hit them again, the little Yordles zoomed off and disappeared in a puff of smoke.
Seeing this funny scene, Miss Lilith’s smile finally returned.
“The guts of these little brats have really been growing lately. How can they sit at these tables?”
“If it weren’t for the ladies needing to eat later, I’d make them drink sewage again and hang them outside overnight to teach them a proper lesson.”
Amidst the noise, some had already taken their seats, while some Foxes went to the kitchen. The original kitchen manager and Yordle chefs were resting. Seeing these bullies, they didn’t dare say much and had to make some meals again.
Soon. Dishes kept coming again, and many Foxes had started dining, but Bob always felt something was missing.
“Bob, you guys have been so mysterious today, what show did you prepare exactly?” a large, plump girl quietly asked: “Not hanging Goblin clowns upside down again? Or making little Yordles ride unicycles?”
In the past, everyone often played these mean, teasing tricks in public for fun, but always playing this kind of stuff got a bit boring.
The large, plump girl’s words suddenly reminded Bob of something.
“A secret must not be revealed.” Bob smiled mysteriously, then said to everyone with a laugh: “I’ll go to the kitchen to ask the manager to make some new dishes. You all eat first.”
After saying that, Bob patted Lilith’s shoulder and went to the toilet.
Seeing such a thoughtful gesture from Gentleman Bob, everyone couldn’t help but smile knowingly. And amidst the gentlemen’s wit and humor, the ladies’ moods gradually improved a lot too.
For a while, the dining table was very warm. Many Foxes who had secretly cast curses today became even more lively in setting the mood.
In this atmosphere, Lilith and the others also forgot about today’s unpleasantness.
‘Discuss it when Daniel and the others return in the afternoon. Bob is quite attentive but useless to talk to. Thinking about it, only Daniel’s witchcraft can break that guy’s move.’
Thinking of this, Lilith couldn’t help but grind her teeth.
By now, everyone was getting a bit hungry. Some new dishes also came up. Bob seemed not to have returned yet, but the dining table was gradually becoming livelier.
But when a certain figure, coolly carrying a large, steaming hot iron plate piled high, sat down there. The entire hall suddenly fell silent.
“Why does it seem a bit smelly?” Lilith, who was chewing a piece of bacon, couldn’t help but frown, lifting her cute nose to sniff the air: “What smell? Zinnia, do you smell it?”
Zinnia nodded woodenly; she was already stunned. Lilith followed her gaze and was stunned too.
“Eat, eat, don’t just stare. Come on, come on, Miss Lilith, you have a piece too.”
Bob, while wiping the black chocolate from his mouth, enthusiastically shared the food with everyone. The plate was full of ‘Oli-gee’, Bob’s mouth was stuffed full, and his face was covered with the stuff.
After saying that, he acted as if he didn’t see the strange looks, grinned strangely at Lilith, lowered his head, and started eating voraciously. And those elegant Fox gentlemen who had cast curses today suddenly laughed wildly, jumped onto the table, took off their pants, and squatted there. Some even squatted right by Bob.
“We’ll add some extra courses for everyone, hahahahaha… splatter, splatter…”
Many people around immediately went “Ugh” and stumbled out. Students at a few nearby tables vomited right on the tables with an “Ugh.” But the usually bullied Yordles and Goblins covered their mouths, secretly laughing.
For a moment, the cafeteria was in chaos.
Watching those bizarre scenes, Lilith and the others were left open-mouthed—these people had all been hit by Infatuation!
They suddenly remembered someone and knew exactly who these guys had messed with.
