“Don’t move!” At that moment, Bai Yuxuan leaned in close to Ouyang Qianxue’s ear and whispered.
“Otherwise, I’ll reject your earlier proposal right now!”
Hearing this, Ouyang Qianxue, who had been struggling fiercely just moments before, suddenly went still and obedient.
“B-But… this is so embarrassing!”
“And whose fault do you think that is?! Don’t you dare lift your head until I’m finished!”
“Whoa… is it really that intense?” Hearing the conversation between the two in the back seat, the driver’s imagination began to run wild. To him, Bai Yuxuan’s words carried an entirely different meaning.

“Since you know who I am, then stop the car and get out. Until I call you back, you are not allowed to come inside!” With that, the driver was promptly ordered out of the vehicle by Bai Yuxuan.
Bai Yuxuan then pulled the curtains shut inside the car.
“Wow… as expected of Young Master Bai, still unable to resist temptation, huh? So impatient! Though if it were me, I might be the same… after all, such a beautiful person right in front of you…” The driver lit a cigarette after getting out, sighing with admiration.
Meanwhile, inside the car, Bai Yuxuan pressed down on Ouyang Qianxue’s head while pulling out a jacket from her suitcase. Because of the forceful movement, Ouyang Qianxue felt quite uncomfortable.
“G-Go easy!” Ouyang Qianxue shouted, his head still being held down. Since the driver-side window hadn’t been closed, his voice carried clearly to the driver outside.
“I-Is it already starting?” The driver swallowed nervously, licking his dry lips. Things like this were usually only seen on certain questionable websites, he never expected to witness something like it firsthand.
“Alright, you can lift your head now.” Bai Yuxuan released her hand from Ouyang Qianxue’s head.
“Huh? You’re already soaked underneath, why are you putting on a jacket too? Isn’t that uncomfortable?”
However, Bai Yuxuan ignored him completely. She pulled open the curtain, rolled down the window, and called out to the driver.
“Alright, you can come back now!”
“Huh? That’s it already?” The driver exclaimed in disbelief outside the car.
“Wasn’t that way too fast for Young Master Bai?” he muttered, glancing at the cigarette that had only just been lit.
When he got back into the car and saw the two in the back seat, his expression grew even more shocked. Aside from Bai Yuxuan now wearing an extra jacket, Ouyang Qianxue’s clothes were perfectly neat, without the slightest sign of disarray.
“Not only did it end this quickly, they even had time to tidy up completely… just how fast is Young Master Bai?!” the driver whispered to himself.
“What did you just say?” Bai Yuxuan shot him a cold glare from behind.
“N-Nothing!”
“If you dare spread nonsense outside, I’ll make sure you disappear from this world without a trace.” Bai Yuxuan’s icy tone sent a chill straight down the driver’s spine.
“Don’t worry, Young Master Bai! Your… swift, no, your mighty deeds, I absolutely won’t spread them around!”
“Bai Yuxuan, can’t you just explain things properly for once?!” Ouyang Qianxue snapped, his face turning livid after seeing the driver’s expression.
Because the driver, who usually served as the principal’s chauffeur, had excellent driving skills, the two of them arrived at the outing destination ahead of everyone else. Shortly after, the rest of the students arrived by bus.
“Those are the guidelines. Everyone, go drop off your luggage first and gather back here before lunchtime.” After getting off the bus, the teachers in charge finished giving instructions, and the students headed toward their respective accommodations.
“So this is what the mountains feel like!” Ning Caiwei exclaimed happily.
Having spent her childhood busy with training to become an idol, this was her first time traveling in the mountains. The moment she stepped out, she looked around like an excited child.
“You’re really strange. People always say kids from the mountains are curious when they reach big cities, but you’re the opposite,” Wang Qian said as she walked up beside her.
“I can’t help it, I just can’t suppress my curiosity! Oh right, where’s Qianxue? I’m a bit worried. Do you think that awful Bai Yuxuan might’ve tried something on her since they were in the same car?”

“You’re one to talk! If it weren’t for Qianxue tutoring you, you’d be grouped with me too!”
Arguing all the way, the two finally arrived at Ning Caiwei’s accommodation area.
“So this is where Sakura Academy students stay? It’s really nice!” The two admired the mountainside hotel before them. The rooms were airy and well-ventilated, and from the windows, one could even see a waterfall cascading down behind the mountain.
“I’m going to check out my lodging! I heard we’re staying at an inn!” Wang Qian rushed off eagerly, only to return looking disappointed.
“Why are we staying here?!” Looking at the wooden building in front of her, it resembled a farmhouse more than a proper inn.
“Haha, a farmhouse isn’t so bad,” Ning Caiwei teased as she walked over.
“Ning Caiwei!” Wang Qian shouted angrily.
“Alright, alright, I was just joking. Anyway, compared to Qianxue, we’re basically living in caves.”
“Wait!” Wang Qian suddenly froze.
“What is it?”
“I’m going to check out where Qianxue is staying!”
“…I’d advise against it, you might get discouraged.”
“Come with me!” Wang Qian grabbed Ning Caiwei’s hand.
“No way! I was just starting to feel okay about my place, what if I see her place and don’t want to stay anymore? I’m not going!” Ning Caiwei shook her off and turned to leave.
“Oh? That’s a pity. Qianxue is my best friend, she wouldn’t just leave me in a place like that. Maybe she’ll even let me stay with her…”
“In your dreams!” Ning Caiwei stopped in her tracks and shot back sharply.
