Volume 4 Chapter 246
by Need_More_SleepVolume 4 + Chapter 246: Sowing Discord
“The Silver Dragon Princess, during this time, has been satisfying the Divine Ancestor’s bloodthirsty urges, sharing the bed with the Divine Ancestor night after night!”
Blake spoke these words before the dragons and Tia.
He intentionally raised his voice to ensure they heard him clearly.
Tia, who had remained silent until now, had her expression changed. Her eyes turned cold.
Seeing this, Blake was thoroughly delighted.
This was his plan.
He only needed to state what happened in the vampire palace, no fabrication required. These facts alone were enough to sow discord between these two.
Upon learning these circumstances, the human Knight King would inevitably believe the dragon race had betrayed the Anti-Vampire Alliance, and Xia Yi would become an outright traitor.
He could achieve his goal without even lifting a finger.
Though somewhat despicable, Blake preferred using such tactics.
He glanced at Xia Yi. Her demeanor clearly showed she was at a loss for how to explain, rendered speechless.
Tia’s side was like a powder keg, about to explode.
But that wasn’t enough.
He needed to see the human Knight King turn her sword against the Silver Dragon Princess, so he prepared to add more fuel to the fire.
“You know, the Quasi-Empress and the Divine Ancestor are exceptionally affectionate. Every night they share a bed, leaving no room for anyone else to come between them.”
Blake continued pouring oil on the flames.
“Quasi-Empress, what are you waiting for? Hurry and come back with me to complete the marriage with the Divine Ancestor!”
“Marriage…”
Tia repeated the word.
“That’s right! The Silver Dragon Princess is already engaged to the Divine Ancestor. After today, they will be together for life! Today is their wedding day! Knight King, perhaps you wish to attend the wedding? I could mention it to the Divine Ancestor. Maybe if she’s pleased, she’d agree to have you as a guest to witness the Silver Dragon Princess’s wedding!”
Tia’s body trembled. She raised her holy lance, gathering holy power upon it.
“Your Highness!!”
The captain and the other dragon soldiers positioned themselves in front of Xia Yi.
They sensed great danger. Tia clearly intended to act!
Though they were injured and unlikely to withstand a strike from the holy lance, they would still stake their lives to protect Xia Yi.
“Knight King! Stop! Our dragon race has not betrayed the Anti-Vampire Alliance! Calm down, cease!!” the captain shouted.
“…”
Tia paid no heed to the captain’s plea. She was already enraged, continuing to gather holy power onto her holy lance.
“Quasi-Empress, be careful!!”
Blake shouted with feigned concern, but inwardly his excitement grew.
Clearly, the Knight King had reached her limit. Having learned of Xia Yi’s betrayal, she had finally severed ties.
Wonderful, simply wonderful!
This Knight King was so enraged she lost her head, acting so impulsively. His inference was correct, the relationship between these two was indeed unusual.
He had thought he might need to confront the Knight King directly, expending more effort and rhetoric to confuse her.
But now, it seemed the Knight King was so easy to manipulate!
“Holy Lance, “
Tia raised her holy lance. Its tip shone with dazzling light, and wave after wave of holy energy rippled outward.
Yes, yes, just like that!
Blake waited for Tia to unleash her holy lance attack, to take the lives of all the dragon soldiers. Then he could seize the opportunity to capture Xia Yi.
“Starburst Lance!”
Tia hurled her holy lance.
“Hahaha!”
Blake laughed heartily.
But then, his laughter cut off abruptly, replaced by an expression of utter disbelief.
Because the holy lance wasn’t aimed at the dragons, it was aimed at himself?!
Blake had no time to dodge. He never anticipated Tia’s target would be him!
He released his blood energy, forming a blood barrier to envelop himself.
“Blood Magic · Blood Iron Wall!”
The holy lance slammed into the blood wall. Pure, sacred energy vaporized the barrier Blake had created. Steam filled the entire space as the holy lance pierced through the blood wall and detonated.
BOOM!!!
“Was the Knight King’s target… not Her Highness?” The captain and dragon soldiers were astounded.
“Tia?”
Xia Yi also widened her eyes.
Because she, too, had thought Tia, upon hearing all that, would be absolutely furious, even emotionally distraught.
“Cough, cough… Knight King… What I said… was the truth…!”
As the steam cleared, Blake’s figure appeared. Under the holy lance’s special effectiveness against dark creatures, half his body had been blasted away. This esteemed vampire prince now looked utterly wretched.
“You think such leading words would work on me? I’ve heard too many like them. The one who angers me is a rat like you, wagging your tongue to stir trouble.” Tia glared at Blake with murderous intent.
“A rat?! You dare call me a rat?!”
Blake was incensed. A powerful aura enveloped him, the divine empowerment bestowed by the Vampire Divine Ancestor!
Under the effect of the divine empowerment, he restored his damaged body, his power continuously escalating.
“A weak race that isn’t even a higher-ranked species king! How dare you spout such insolence before me?!”
“Weak race?”
Tia scoffed disdainfully. Behind her, a faintly discernible divine halo appeared, astonishing everyone present.
“How can this be…?!”
Blake, of course, recognized what that was. He had seen it on the Vampire Divine Ancestor. This should be a divine halo possessed only by higher-ranked species kings from the Mythical Era!
“Holy Sword Balmung!”
Tia summoned the holy sword, gripping it tightly, and stepped toward Blake. Blue sword energy surged around her, radiating immense pressure.
“I refuse to believe it!!”
Blake was convinced Tia was bluffing. A mere human, how could she possibly defeat him, who possessed divine empowerment?
This was the human race, one of the weakest races on this continent, relying solely on holy swords and lances. What gave her the right to be so arrogant?!
“Blood Magic · Bloodthirsty Frenzy!!”
Blake’s blood energy surged wildly, completely enveloping him. His form grew enormous, transforming into a beast of blood rage as he launched a frenzied assault on Tia.
Tia swung the Holy Sword Balmung, slashing toward Blake. The sword energy seemed to tear through space itself, piercing Blake’s body, shattering his blood-formed shell.
The expression on Blake’s face froze. A clean, straight line appeared across it, causing his body to split misaligned into two halves. He died beneath Tia’s sword, leaving behind not a single final word.
