    Volume 4 + Chapter 215: Arctic Tombstone

The Troll King had lost to Morton. This pureblood noble, relying solely on his own strength, had turned the tide of battle, greatly boosting the morale of the vampire forces.

Next, after beheading the Troll King, the troll army would likely collapse in defeat like a landslide.

Just as he was about to lose his life, ice chains descended upon the battlefield, binding Morton and even forcing his head down.

    “Who…?”

The scene before him shocked the Troll King. He struggled to lift his head, searching for that silver figure.

Finally, he saw a silver-haired, silver-eyed dragon girl standing atop a crisscrossing network of chains, looking down from above.

The Troll King’s first thought was of the Silver Dragon Princess from the Dragon Kingdom.

    “Dragons! Dragons have appeared!!”

Someone in the troll army also spotted the silver dragon loli, pointing at her and shouting in astonishment.

The trolls, who had fallen into despair, saw hope once more.

As the most powerful of the higher races, dragons had always been distanced and even ostracized by other races.

From an adversarial viewpoint, this race was simply too dangerous. Although they remained entrenched in the north, rarely leaving the Dragon Kingdom, how could a nation possessing such immense power not inspire fear and wariness?

But as an ally, it was a different story.

The fear once associated with them, under these circumstances, unexpectedly transformed into a sense of security—something no one had anticipated.

“Have the dragons come to aid us? Who is that?”

“Who else could it be but the Silver Dragon Princess of the Dragon Kingdom?!”

“The Dragon Clan’s power is truly formidable! They’ve actually suppressed Morton!”

Hearing the voices from the trolls below, Xia Lulu did not choose to respond.

It seemed these creatures had already mistaken her for Xia Yi.

But that was fine, she had intended this all along, saving the need for explanation.

“Silver Dragon… Princess…?” The Troll King attempted to communicate with Xia Lulu.

    “Don’t get in the way.”

Xia Lulu had no desire for conversation. She moved a finger, and a chain flew over, wrapping around the Troll King’s body before flinging him away. He landed amidst the troll army, where soldiers caught him, temporarily removing him from the front lines of battle.

“Damned dragon! How dare you force me to bow my head to you?!”

Morton’s body trembled. He had lost the composure and dignity of a pureblood noble, his voice was filled with fury, almost out of control.

Now, he had chosen to devote himself to the Vampire Ancestor, becoming her most devout follower.

In this world, aside from the Vampire Ancestor, Morton would absolutely never bow his head to anyone.

Yet Xia Lulu used chains to bind his head, forcing it down—an act that seemed to desecrate his very faith.

    Morton could never accept this.

“Whoever you are, you will pay a terrible price for this arrogant act!!” Morton shrieked hysterically. “The divine blessing bestowed upon me by the Progenitor is not something inferior races of this era can ever hope to match!”

Blood continuously surged from his body, forming a large pool on the ground.

That blood, under the influence of a chaotic magical power, began to boil, releasing intense heat. It constantly emitted steam, melting the icy chains, gradually loosening the restraints upon him.

    “Blood Magic·Blood Boil!!”

This time, the blood magic Morton unleashed actually succeeded in melting Xia Lulu’s icy chains, freeing him from control.

The blood released terrifying heat, even distorting the air around it.

The surrounding earth dried up and cracked from the blood’s high temperature.

This immense energy forced the trolls to retreat repeatedly. This was even more terrifying than when he fought the Troll King!

Indeed, Morton hadn’t been going all out earlier. From the current situation, he was now seriously intent on killing, aiming to slay the silver dragon royalty from the Dragon Kingdom.

    “Boil, plunder, roar—”

The pool of blood beneath Morton surged like volcanic magma on the verge of eruption, transforming into a searing crimson. His body, along with his incantation, slowly dissolved, merging into the boiling blood.

Beneath the blood pool, a dreadful monster was about to emerge.

“Blood Magic · Stygian Triple-Headed Hound!!”

Morton vanished completely, replaced by a triple-headed hound emerging from the massive blood pool. It was even larger, fiercer, and more furious than the previous Stygian Blood Hound!

The aura waves radiating from the Stygian Triple-Headed Hound were unbearable for the weaker trolls and vampires present, some even fainted on the spot.

    Xia Lulu blinked.

Judging by his display, this had reached the level of a King of the Higher Races.

The Vampire Progenitor truly was formidable. A mere blessing of divine authority could elevate an ordinary pureblood noble to such a degree.

The Stygian Triple-Headed Hound roared, shattering the icy chains. It launched a fierce assault, pouncing towards Xia Lulu to maul her.

However, if this was the extent of his power…

Xia Lulu remained disdainful. She raised a finger, releasing bone-chilling icy magic from her fingertip. The Dragon King’s pupils glimmered faintly.

    “Forbidden Art · Arctic Tombstone.”

A cross-shaped icy tombstone descended upon the Stygian Triple-Headed Hound, actually pressing it back down.

The Hound was not crushed. It rose again, using boiling blood to melt the ice.

“Is this all… you think you can stop me?!”

The voice emanating from the Stygian Triple-Headed Hound’s mouths was indistinguishable as Morton’s or a beast’s.

    “To this extent?”

    Xia Lulu was unimpressed.

“Indeed. Before me, this is all you amount to.”

The Stygian Triple-Headed Hound attempted to attack again, lifting its heads, only to freeze in place.

Filling its vision was a countless number of tombstones descending, occupying its entire field of view.

    Swish swish swish swish swish—!

Innumerable tombstones poured down like a torrential rain, striking the Stygian Triple-Headed Hound, shattering the monstrous body. A chill permeated the entire battlefield as the icy cold froze the blood’s violent fury.

The Hound’s limbs and heads were pinned to the ground by the tombstone rain, unable to move, transforming into an ice sculpture.

Xia Lulu materialized an ice sword from thin air and hurled it. It struck the head of the Stygian Triple-Headed Hound. Under the Dragon King’s power, a crack appeared on the head, spreading across its entire body. Then, the frozen sculpture shattered, turning into a field of broken ice.

The battle was over. Victory belonged to Xia Lulu.

The vampire powerhouse died with it, not even leaving a last word. The tombstones standing nearby seemed as if they were specifically erected for Morton.

“Crushed another uninteresting insect,” Xia Lulu said lightly.
