As they moved on, Su Yi frowned, his expression turning serious. He noticed that the movement of the demon beasts in the surrounding mountains and forests had become unusual, which made him cautious.
Nangong Ningyue also noticed the change, adding, “There must be a powerful presence lurking nearby, causing the demon beasts to behave this way.”
Su Yi nodded in agreement. A powerful individual could either be a formidable monster or a mighty being. Either way, it was a situation that required caution.
“We need to hurry!” Su Yi said, his voice firm.
They quickened their pace, but with each passing moment, it felt as though they were running in fear.
Behind them, a powerful force seemed to be in pursuit.
Su Yi mentally calculated the time. By now, the news of Ran Yan and others’ deaths in Sword Star City must have reached Ran Jianxuan, the leader of the Seven Star Sword Sect, along with other influential figures. Those individuals were probably already taking action and may have found some leads about them, pursuing them relentlessly.
Considering this, they couldn’t afford to delay any longer. They pushed themselves to the limit.
Even Su Xiaoshuai wore a focused expression. With his small bird’s claw, he grabbed a shadowy figure and dashed away.

The arrival of these two formidable beings meant that Su Yi could now exert control over the situation. Among all the powerful forces, including the mighty Beast Emperors, very few could challenge two Demonic Emperors.
After a short time, Su Yi spotted the Green Emperor, the Yin-yang Dark Emperor, and even a Wolf-headed Demon Bat.
