Chapter 938: The Real Dragon!
With Su Yi’s current cultivation level, the Golden Scale Flaming Heavenly Bow couldn’t actually harm the four Yuan Void Realm experts.
However, these four pursuers still had to be stopped, even if only for a brief delay, though it wouldn’t have much effect in the grand scheme.
“Kid, where do you think you can run?”
Someone shouted coldly, noticing that the Golden Scale Flaming Heavenly Bow was indeed with this young boy. Without a doubt, he was connected to the person who had killed the Young Sect Leader. Capturing this boy was crucial to discovering the identity of the murderer.
Su Yi was giving it his all, but the four experts behind him were closing in rapidly.
His expression grew increasingly grim. Su Yi knew that attempting to fight against four Yuan Void Realm experts was impossible. With his current strength, he couldn’t even handle one of them, let alone all four.
The only solution Su Yi could think of was to wake the Golden Gryphon, the Red Wind Black-Eyed Demon Monkey, and the Cloud-Stepping Silver Leopard, who were currently benefiting from some mysterious opportunity.
However, if he disturbed these three creatures now, it might significantly reduce the benefits they were obtaining. Until it became a matter of life and death, Su Yi was reluctant to interfere with them. He knew they would be of great help to him in the future.
But when survival was at stake, there would be no other choice.
As for Huang Jian, he absolutely could not be disturbed.
Breaking through the Yuan Emperor Realm was a delicate process that could not be interrupted. Any interference could lead to a loss of power or even insanity. Waking him would serve no purpose.
The group was nearing the end of the canyon. The narrow passage was flanked by towering cliffs on both sides, seemingly stretching to the heavens.
“We have no other option!”
Su Yi gritted his teeth, his gaze fixed ahead as he approached the canyon’s exit. It seemed he had no choice but to wake the three creatures within the mysterious space. He would have to infuse them with his vital energy to accelerate their departure from the canyon.
Once clear of the passage, he could make a sharp turn and attempt to awaken the three creatures.
“Boss, you’re finally here! Come in quickly!”
Suddenly, as Su Yi turned a corner in the canyon passage, a surge of hot air filled the space, seemingly emerging from nowhere.
At the same time, Su Xiaoshuai’s small figure appeared, his eyes darting around, unfazed as he sensed Su Yi’s presence.
“What are you doing here?!”
Without hesitation, Su Yi swiftly entered.
“Whoosh…”
As Su Yi’s figure disappeared, the space behind him vanished mysteriously, dissolving into thin air.
“Kid, you can’t escape!”
“If I let a kid from the Yuan True Realm get away, I might as well eat dirt!”
The four Yuan Void Realm experts were now only thirty yards behind, closing in quickly. The canyon widened ahead, the sharp turn leaving no trace of their target. Yet, it was clear the boy could not have gone far.
“No, where is that kid?”
“Where did that kid run off to?”
In the blink of an eye, just around a corner, four powerful experts of the Yuan Void Realm darted after him. But they were stunned to discover that the boy—alive, well, and seemingly solid—had vanished without a trace.
“Where did he go?”
The four pairs of eyes looked as if they might pop out of their sockets as they scanned every direction. Yet, the boy seemed to have evaporated from existence, leaving no trace or presence behind.
“Search quickly! It’s impossible for him to disappear!”
“He must be hiding somewhere. Search! He definitely can’t escape!”
The expressions on the four individuals’ faces darkened dramatically. Losing this kid was not an option. He was the one the entire Golden Sword Sect had been desperately searching for, and they could not afford to let him slip away.

On the hill, ancient trees towered, their canopies stretching skyward and blotting out the sun. Above the treetops, several figures stood, radiating invisible waves of energy.
“Those four Golden Sword Dharma Protectors seem to be after someone,” observed an elderly man in his fifties. Narrowing his eyes, he gazed toward the distant east, recognizing the figures by their distinct energy waves. “It’s the Golden Sword Sect’s four Dharma Protectors.”
“It looks like they’re meddling with the monster clan,” commented an old woman. Though frail in appearance, an undeniable aura of formidable strength emanated from her. This territory was teeming with powerful beings from the monster clan, and it wasn’t wise for the Golden Sword Sect to provoke them.
“I heard the Young Sect Leader, Yang Chuan, was killed recently,” said a middle-aged man with a faint smile, his narrowed eyes betraying his curiosity. “Yang Baikun is furious and has ordered a massive search for his son’s killer. I wonder who would dare to challenge him.”
The man chuckled, exuding a subtle sense of pride. “I recall when Yang Chuan fought Wang Mo. Even with the Golden Sword Sect’s secret techniques, he was defeated by Wang Mo’s superior skills.”
“The Golden Sword Sect may have risen to prominence in recent years,” the elderly man added with a tone of flattery, “but compared to the heritage of our Green Dark Sect, they fall short. As for Yang Chuan, his talent was mediocre. I’ve heard Yang Baikun paid a heavy price just to elevate his son’s abilities. He even secured a Golden Scale Flaming Heavenly Bow—a damaged mid-grade Dao Tool—but even with that, Yang Chuan couldn’t match Young Master Wang Mo.”
“Haha! Wang Mo’s talent is decent,” said Dharma Protector Wang with a mix of pride and modesty. “But compared to the Young Sect Leader of the Green Dark Sect, he still has a long way to go. That said, Yang Chuan was no match for him.”
Wang’s pride was evident, but a trace of regret crossed his face as he added, “It’s a pity about the Golden Scale Flaming Heavenly Bow. If we could have given it to Wang Mo, it would have significantly boosted his combat abilities!”
“True,” the elderly man agreed. “Even though it’s slightly damaged, a middle-grade Dao Tool is invaluable. If Yang Chuan was killed, someone else must have taken it.”
Both men looked regretful. The bow was a rare and precious treasure, and its loss was a blow to anyone who understood its value.
“Still,” the elderly man said, turning to Dharma Protector Wang, “Young Master Wang has immense potential. In this competition, his talent and strength will undoubtedly shine. If he attracts the attention of powerful alliances, securing a complete middle-grade Dao Tool will be within his reach. His future is limitless.”
“Hopefully,” Wang said with a broad smile. “It depends on Wang Mo’s own opportunities. I’ve done my part, investing everything I have in his cultivation. With his recent advancements, I’m confident he’ll stand out in this competition. And once he catches the eye of an influential alliance, his future will truly be boundless.”
Laughter echoed through the canopy as Wang’s confidence in his son’s talent and destiny remained unshaken.
