Chapter 901: Collapse
The woman carefully examined Su Yi, unbothered by his gaze, as she knew he was sealed and powerless to resist. After staring at him for a while, she softly murmured, “You must still be young. You probably have no idea where Elder Feng Yue and the others brought you from. Don’t blame them. Our clan had no other choice. If we hadn’t brought you here, we would’ve had to sacrifice one of our own.
“Even though it’s wrong to bring you back, we were left with no options. Honestly… I don’t know what to do either. Your family must be so worried about you right now…” She sighed deeply as she continued her soft murmurs.
“Were you training nearby? How did you end up alone? Or were you with senior martial artists from your sect? I envy you—you get to go everywhere. I’ve always wanted to leave and see the world, but I’ve never stepped outside the clan.
“Fourth Aunt and the elders always warn me that the outside world is dangerous, full of ferocious demon beasts that devour people. But Feng Pu says there are so many beautiful places out there…”
Her voice trailed off as she began undressing Su Yi.
“Um…”
The moment she removed his robe, her face flushed bright red. Her cheeks turned rosy without her even realizing it.
As her eyes fell on Su Yi’s translucent, crystal-clear body, she hesitated, unable to look away. Su Yi didn’t have bulging muscles, but his physique was remarkably well-built. His defined contours, toned shoulders, and balanced proportions held her gaze captive, making it hard for her to avert her eyes.
“What is this lady trying to do…?”
At this moment, Su Yi’s thoughts were in turmoil. He couldn’t help but wonder what her intentions were.
“Could it be that she wants to give me a bath?”
His gaze shifted to the large bucket of hot water in the room. Considering her earlier actions, he surmised that she might indeed intend to bathe him.
The woman stared at Su Yi, her cheeks growing even redder. Her heart began to race as she took in his well-defined figure. A strange warmth spread through her, and her big, beautiful eyes filled with confusion. “He’s so different from little brats like Xiao Zhuang and Xiao Teng. Do all boys grow up to be like this?”
She glanced nervously at the door before looking back at Su Yi. Biting her lip, she whispered to herself, “Well, you’re going to die soon anyway. I’m just giving you a bath; there’s nothing more to it.”
With that, she stood up, carefully closed the door, and locked it to ensure no one could enter. Then, she turned back to Su Yi and approached him.
Taking a deep breath to steady herself, she quickly removed all of Su Yi’s remaining clothes, leaving him completely naked.
“I…”
Su Yi, a young boy, found himself utterly exposed in front of the woman. His face turned crimson as he grappled with the humiliation of the situation.
Su Yi felt his dignity crumble. He couldn’t believe this woman had stripped him completely. The sheer absurdity of it left him feeling violated and helpless.
“I was just trying to help you take a bath,” the woman muttered, seemingly unaware of Su Yi’s inner turmoil.
Without a second thought, she picked him up in her arms, carrying him like a princess, and unceremoniously tossed him into the large tub.
Su Yi was stunned. His mind raced as he processed the absurdity of what had just happened. How could this girl strip me naked, carry me like that, and then throw me into a bathtub? This is…
As Su Yi’s mind raced, the girl paid no attention to his thoughts. She began pouring bath products over him, their floral fragrance spreading pleasantly through the air. The liquid ran down his head, back, and shoulders.
“So disgusting and ugly…” she muttered under her breath.
Then, as if startled by her own actions, the girl closed her eyes, a trace of fear and hesitation flickering across her face. Her hands trembled slightly, reluctant to exert too much force. Her heart pounded wildly, its rhythm like the beat of a drum. Her typically delicate face flushed as red as an apple.
“It looks like a fuzzy caterpillar,” she whispered to herself, her initial reluctance giving way to curiosity, as though she’d stumbled upon an entirely new world.
Poor Su Yi, rendered completely immobile by the seal, could neither move nor speak. He lay there, utterly defeated. Though his energy and acupoints were sealed, his blood still coursed through his body. With the vigor of youth, he could not suppress his physiological reactions. He felt a surge of vitality, like a dragon rising to the heavens, striving to break free.
The woman noticed it instantly—a heat so intense it surpassed boiling water. This heat was different; it seemed to penetrate her palm and travel straight to her heart, spreading throughout her body. Her limbs felt inexplicably weak, and her cheeks burned with an unfamiliar warmth.
She had never felt anything like this before—a mixture of discomfort and a strange, almost pleasurable sensation.
“Oh, how it’s changed!” she exclaimed, furrowing her brows in confusion. “It can transform? It looks even uglier now. I’ll cut it off for you!”
With that, the woman appeared to search for a knife.
“Weirdo! I…” Su Yi’s thoughts screamed in frustration. He was utterly overwhelmed, his wide eyes fixed on the girl. Could this strange woman really mean to cut him? He had never faced anything so bizarre in his life.
Fortunately, the woman seemed to reconsider. She didn’t actually proceed with her threat, though she examined him curiously a few more times.
For nearly half an hour, Su Yi remained at the woman’s mercy. Immobilized by the seal, he felt like a lifeless wooden doll in her hands. Finally, she carried him out and laid him on a clean wooden board.
Su Yi felt utterly humiliated. Deep inside, he was crushed, consumed by a profound sense of despair. He even entertained the thought of giving up entirely.
The woman soon returned with a set of clean, well-fitted clothes, dressing Su Yi carefully. She tidied his hair, tying his black locks neatly, and stepped back to assess her work.
Now clean and groomed, Su Yi looked entirely transformed. His once dusty and unkempt appearance had been replaced by a refreshed, sharp look. Though his complexion wasn’t particularly fair, his striking features stood out. His long, slender eyebrows gleamed with determination, his deep-set eyes carried a resolute light, and his tall, lean figure exuded a quiet strength. Even the coarse cloth robe couldn’t conceal the inherent defiance and nobility etched into his very bones.
For reasons she couldn’t quite explain, the woman felt an unfamiliar stirring as she gazed at the boy before her. It was as though something deep within her had been awakened, creating ripples in her heart and leaving her momentarily dazed.
