Chapter 900: I Just Want to Give You a Bath!
Su Yi lay flat on the ground, staring up at the faces surrounding him. The group consisted of men, women, and children of all ages. Among them was an elderly woman in her eighties or nineties, as well as toddlers. They all gazed at him curiously, as though they thought he wasn’t clean enough.
“This is a group of weirdos… or maybe even cannibals!”
Sealed and unable to move or speak, Su Yi’s heart shattered in despair.
“Give him to me. I’ll take him and give him a proper wash,” a middle-aged woman said, stepping forward and addressing a man named Feng Gu.
“Mom Feng, this boy feels surprisingly heavy. Be careful,” Feng Gu warned, glancing at Su Yi with a hint of confusion. On the journey back, he had struggled to carry Su Yi, feeling an inexplicable weight that left him short of breath and pale.
“How heavy can a little boy be?”
The middle-aged woman dismissed his concern. Judging by the boy’s size, he couldn’t possibly weigh much.
However, as soon as she picked up Su Yi, her eyes widened in shock. “Wow, this kid really is heavy!”
The woman, accustomed to carrying hundreds of pounds with ease, found herself straining under Su Yi’s weight.
“Could it be…?”
Her gaze fell on the large knife and broken sword strapped to Su Yi’s back. Clearly, these weapons contributed to the boy’s unusual weight.
“Let me take a look,” said Elder Feng Yue, stepping forward. He examined the large knife, weighed it in his hand, and his expression shifted slightly. “A high-level Xuan Weapon… not bad. It deserves to go to someone capable. Now, this sword…”
Feng Yue turned his attention to the broken sword. As he pulled it out, his expression changed dramatically. His arm trembled as he muttered, “Surprisingly heavy.”
The sword, despite its broken state, weighed over a thousand pounds. Feng Yue couldn’t fathom how Feng Gu had managed to carry both the boy and the weapons.
Unknown to him, the sword’s weight fluctuated depending on Su Yi’s cultivation level—a peculiarity Su Yi understood all too well.
“This sword is unusual,” Feng Yue remarked, his instincts telling him it wasn’t an ordinary broken blade. Without hesitation, he placed it in his space bag.
Feng Yue didn’t stop there. He noticed Su Yi’s space bag and picked it up. Noticing it was sealed with Su Yi’s markings, he couldn’t open it immediately, so he tucked it into his robe and motioned for others to carry Su Yi away.
Su Yi could only watch helplessly. He wasn’t concerned about the space bag, as it only contained basic medicine. His truly important items were hidden in a mysterious space, far beyond anyone’s reach. But the broken sword was different—Su Yi knew better than anyone just how extraordinary it was.
He felt a pang of frustration as Feng Yue stowed the sword in his bag. Lacking the strength to resist, Su Yi could only watch as a smiling middle-aged woman carried him away.
They passed through several courtyards and corridors until they reached a secluded courtyard. The area was tranquil, surrounded by serene pathways and quiet halls.
In the front hall, the woman gently set Su Yi on the ground and called into the house, “Qie, Elder Feng Yue and the others are back. They’ve brought this kid. Clean him up and find him some fresh clothes—preferably something clean and white.”
She then glanced at Su Yi with a mixture of regret and pity. “Little guy, don’t blame us. We had no choice. Blame your bad luck for crossing paths with us.”
Murmuring those words, the woman turned and left.
“Auntie Fourth, did Elder Feng Yue and the others return so quickly? I understand.”
Outside the courtyard, a crisp voice sounded, followed by the creak of a door. A graceful figure emerged, accompanied by a faint fragrance that wafted through the air.
The hem of a flowing dress brushed past Su Yi as he lay casually on the ground. His gaze flickered toward the source—a woman in her twenties, with a simple appearance yet an understated charm. Her hair was tied in a ponytail, with a few glossy black strands falling loosely by her ears, framing her delicate face.
The woman’s bright, expressive eyes shone with intelligence, and her fair skin enhanced her pure, innocent aura. Despite her simplicity, she did not appear fragile; instead, she radiated a quiet determination. Her lively, spirited eyes gave her a resolute and captivating presence.
She watched the middle-aged woman leave before turning her gaze toward Su Yi. Her eyes sparkled with curiosity as she murmured softly, “So dirty… no wonder it needs a thorough cleaning.”
Speaking gently, she bent down, lifting Su Yi with care, and carried him into the courtyard. They passed through several rooms until they reached a spacious chamber.
The room was imbued with a light, refreshing scent, reminiscent of a young woman’s boudoir. At its center was a large wooden tub, big enough to accommodate two or three grown men.
The woman set Su Yi down against the wall and began to busy herself. After a while, she returned with buckets of clear water, filling the tub until steam rose from its surface. Finally, she tested the water temperature and added rose petals, which floated gently on top.
Su Yi observed all of this, but his mind was elsewhere. He tried to focus on activating the Supreme Chaotic Yuan Technique, attempting to break the seal Elder Feng Yue had set on him. However, the woman’s constant movement made concentrating difficult.
Captured and brought into what felt like an enemy stronghold, Su Yi was overwhelmed. This group seemed dangerously powerful. If he’d known what lay ahead, he might have brought Huang Jian with him. Even if he managed to break the seal, he had no clear plan for escape.
The lair was teeming with formidable individuals, leaving Su Yi with little hope but to wait for his elder brother, Xi Wuqing, to break through and rescue him. Without intervention, he feared he might truly be in trouble. Most unsettling of all, the people here seemed utterly mysterious.
“It’s time for your bath.”
While Su Yi was deep in thought, the woman’s delicate face appeared in front of him. Her lively, clear eyes sparkled with a kind of ethereal charm.
Those bright eyes met Su Yi’s, reflecting his figure like a clear spring. The unique fragrance of her presence surrounded him, teasing his senses and leaving him momentarily dazed.
