Chapter 362: Get Out of Here!
The inner disciple who had said “dogs biting dogs” was a young man of about eighteen or nineteen, with a gloomy and indifferent expression. He glanced at Su Yi and fell silent.
“I said, get the hell out of here!”
Su Yi spoke slowly, his gaze fixed on the disciple. His tone was calm but carried undeniable authority. Su Yi had known all along that this inner disciple was the one responsible for those mocking words.
The phrase dogs biting dogs had been directed at Su Yi and the outer disciples, a deliberate insult that had ignited Su Yi’s anger.
“It seems you’re overconfident because of your strength,” the inner disciple said coldly. “But it doesn’t matter. I’ll teach you a lesson today…”
His expression turned icy, his eyes flashing with malice. For an outer disciple to defy and disrespect him in front of so many people was unforgivable. If he didn’t punish Su Yi now, how could he maintain his status and face in the future?
Pop, pop, pop…
Before the inner disciple could finish his sentence, a series of crisp slaps interrupted him, echoing throughout the Sword Hall.
“Pooh…”
Blood and teeth spurted from the inner disciple’s mouth, and his face turned ashen. Both sides of his face were swollen and red, grotesquely resembling that of a pig.
Staggering, the disciple swayed unsteadily, a dazed and bewildered look in his eyes.
The entire hall fell into stunned silence. This was far more shocking than Su Yi’s earlier clash with the outer disciples.
Su Yi had moved with ghost-like speed, appearing in front of the inner disciple before anyone could even register his motion.
“In the future, you’d better watch your mouth,” Su Yi said with a calm yet commanding tone, his expression serious.
“Ah… You and I are not finished yet!”
The inner disciple finally regained his senses. The burning pain on his face made it abundantly clear that he had been slapped hard and humiliated in front of everyone.
“Boom!”
Unable to bear the humiliation, the inner disciple erupted in a fit of rage. His eyes burned with killing intent as the aura of the Third Grade of the Yuan Xuan Realm surged from his body. Scorching fire-elemental energy burst forth as he unleashed a ferocious palm strike aimed directly at Su Yi’s chest.
“Humph!”
Su Yi’s eyes glinted coldly. Without hesitation, he raised his arm, channeling a powerful wave of fiery elemental energy into his fingertips. As the disciple’s palm strike neared, Su Yi countered with precise and swift movements.
“Swoosh…”
In the blink of an eye, faster than lightning, Su Yi’s counterattack struck. A sharp chirp sounded as the disciple’s palm erupted in a mist of blood. A gory hole appeared in his hand, and his expression twisted in agony.
Horror filled the disciple’s eyes. Only now did he realize that the outer disciple standing before him was no novice. Su Yi’s strength was terrifying—far beyond what any ordinary outer disciple could achieve.
“Ah…”
With a miserable cry, the inner disciple was sent flying. He crashed to the ground with a heavy thud, blood gushing from his mouth and his injured hand.
The hall fell into a collective gasp. An inner disciple had been utterly defeated, his strength proving insignificant in the face of Su Yi’s overwhelming power.
The defeated outer disciples from earlier looked on, their faces pale and their scalps tingling.
The remaining inner disciples, who had initially considered intervening, froze in place. Their expressions shifted dramatically as they hesitated, feeling the oppressive aura emanating from Su Yi. The fear was palpable; none dared to step forward.
“Su Yi! I remember now!” someone in the crowd suddenly exclaimed, breaking the tense silence. A young man’s trembling voice drew everyone’s attention.
“He’s the one who severely injured Wang Qin last night!”
A ripple of shock spread through the Sword Hall.
“It’s him! Su Yi from the Thirty-Sixth Sword Peak!”
The murmurs grew louder. Many of the disciples present had heard rumors about the incident the previous night—an outer disciple who had defeated multiple inner disciples, leaving them seriously injured. While many had doubted the story, the truth now stood before them, undeniable and chilling.
Zhang Qing, watching the scene unfold, could only shake his head helplessly. None of this surprised him. After all, Su Yi had already crushed dozens of inner disciples earlier that morning. These new challengers were no match for him.
With a sigh, Zhang Qing muttered to himself, Some people just don’t know when to quit.
“Hurry up and leave, or this will turn into something much bigger!” Zhang Qing urged, his voice tinged with urgency.
Immediately, Zhang Qing seemed to recall something and turned to Su Yi.
“Wait a minute.”
Su Yi’s lips curved into a faint smile as he moved swiftly toward the severely injured inner disciple.
“What… what else do you want to do?”
The disciple’s swollen face, resembling a pig’s head, twisted in shock. Struggling to get up, he instinctively stepped back.
“Just taking something, that’s all.”
Su Yi’s tone was calm as he extended his hand.
Before long, the space bag from the inner disciple’s arms appeared in Su Yi’s grasp.
“No, give it back to me!”
The inner disciple was stunned. Once he realized what had happened, his expression turned panicked and furious.
“Give it back? This is the price for running your mouth. I’ll hold onto it for a few days!”
Su Yi smirked as he skillfully tucked the space bag into his own robes.
The entire Sword Hall was struck silent. No one could believe what they had just witnessed—a mere outer disciple daring to rob an inner disciple of his space bag.
Even the inner disciples were dumbfounded. They had never seen anything like this before. An outer disciple not only ignored their status but openly humiliated them and even had the audacity to snatch an inner disciple’s belongings!
This was unprecedented in the history of the Divine Sword School.
While a group of outer disciples stood frozen in shock, inwardly, they couldn’t help but feel exhilarated. These inner disciples, who usually treated them with disdain, were now being humiliated before their eyes.
Normally, outer disciples could only bow and scrape, hoping for a sliver of guidance from their higher-ranked counterparts. Seeing the tables turned so dramatically filled them with satisfaction, though none dared let it show on their faces.
“We need to leave quickly. If we cause more trouble here, we’ll definitely alert the disciples from the Court of Justice,” Zhang Qing said, his expression serious. He knew that fights in the Sword Hall came with severe consequences.
“Su Yi, if you have the guts, come out and face me!”
Suddenly, a thunderous voice laced with vitality boomed into the Sword Hall, cutting through the stunned silence.
The voice, though youthful, carried an unmistakable aura of power, shaking the hall to its core.
The disciples in the Sword Hall were startled, their expressions filled with surprise.
Su Yi raised his head slightly, his sharp gaze fixing on the entrance to the Sword Hall, from where the voice had come.
“Could it be that the disciples from the Court of Justice have been alarmed?”
Zhang Qing’s face paled, his eyes trembling. If the Court of Justice was involved, the situation would escalate into something much more serious.
“It seems someone has come to stir up trouble,” a few disciples whispered among themselves, exchanging wary glances.
“Let’s go and see what’s happening,” Su Yi said with a faint smile, gesturing for Zhang Qing to calm down before striding confidently toward the entrance.
“Oh no, more trouble!”
Zhang Qing muttered bitterly, his face filled with helplessness. If he had known things would turn out like this, he never would have told Su Yi about the Sword Hall.
