Chapter 275: Nine Thousand Years!
“It is the Divine Demonic Sect, Honourable Lord Demon.”
The old village head of the Ancient Spirit Village, along with the old clan heads of the Mighty Bear Tribe and Hunting Tiger Tribe, spoke with solemnity. They faced Yao Luo Mountain, bowed deeply, and declared:
“Do as Honourable Lord Demon commands. Leave a bloodline for the Divine Demonic Sect, while the rest prepare for a bloody battle.”
These words sent shockwaves through the gathered crowd.
“Is there truly a great enemy?”
“Are the ancient legends real?”
The atmosphere in the Ancient Spirit Village, Mighty Bear Tribe, and Hunting Tiger Tribe grew heavy with tension. Shock and fear spread as people grappled with the ominous message.
“I won’t go!” declared Xiong Zhan boldly. Emerging from seclusion after the commotion, he added firmly, “Even if there are enemies, I’ll fight alongside my clansmen. How can I abandon them?”
Standing beside him, Xiong Lie echoed his brother’s resolve.
“I will not leave either! I’ll live and die with my tribe!”
Their sentiments resonated throughout the crowd.
“I won’t leave!”
“Neither will I!”
Youngsters from all three tribes stood defiant, unwilling to part from their families. Tearful children clung to their parents, refusing to go.
“You must go!” commanded the elders, their voices firm but heavy with sorrow. “You must leave to preserve the bloodline of the Divine Demonic Sect!”
Despite the resistance, the younger generations were forcibly escorted away under the protection of strong cultivators.
The remaining villagers steeled themselves for battle. Though they did not yet know who their enemies were, a somber determination settled over the tribes.

“Divine Demonic Ancient Verse”
When Su Yi awoke, he was flooded with information, his mind foggy from the forceful injection of immense knowledge.
“You’re awake, young man,” a voice called out.
“Who’s there?” Su Yi looked around, startled.
He found himself atop a mist-covered mountain surrounded by towering peaks and ancient trees. Beneath one such tree lay a massive tiger, its once-majestic form frail and worn. Though dim-eyed and weakened, the aura of a mighty demon beast still emanated faintly from it.
“A demon beast of incredible strength,” Su Yi thought, his heart pounding.
“You’re right,” the tiger said, its voice calm yet commanding. “I am a member of the demon race and a guardian of the Divine Demonic Sect. I have waited here for nine thousand years. I thought my duty would end in vain, but at the twilight of my life, you have come.”
Su Yi’s eyes widened. “Nine thousand years? The Divine Demonic Sect?”
The tiger nodded, its gaze distant. “Nine thousand years ago, our sect was glorious. But treacherous enemies conspired to destroy us. My master sacrificed himself to save the sect’s bloodline, hiding us here in hopes that one day, a successor would rise. Many have come, but none were worthy—until now.”
“Me?” Su Yi was incredulous. “Surely you’ve made a mistake, senior.”
The tiger’s eyes glinted. “No mistake. You have passed the trials and inherited the Divine Demonic Ancient Verse. That alone makes you the rightful successor—and the new sect leader of the Divine Demonic Sect.”
—
The scene around them shifted, and Su Yi found himself inside a grand ancient hall. The carvings of mythical beasts on the walls glowed faintly, exuding a demonic aura that made Su Yi feel oddly at ease.
“Senior…” Su Yi began, but the tiger interrupted.
“My time is short,” it said, rising unsteadily. “You must know this: as the bearer of the Divine Demonic Ancient Verse, you are now the sect leader. The future of our sect lies in your hands.”
Su Yi shook his head. “I’m not qualified! I’m burdened with problems of my own, and I’m not even from this land!”
The tiger’s gaze deepened. “From the moment you entered this place, I saw your potential. Though you are weak now, you possess extraordinary qualities and secrets. The Divine Demonic Ancient Verse chose you for a reason. In time, you will rise above all others.”
“Senior…” Su Yi wanted to protest further, but the tiger silenced him with a raised paw.
“Listen,” it said, its voice heavy with urgency. “Enemies approach faster than I anticipated. I cannot hold them off much longer. Remember, you are the sect leader now. The Divine Demonic Sect’s revival is your responsibility!”
The tiger’s dim eyes burned with determination as it spoke its final words. Beyond the hall, a menacing presence loomed closer.
