Chapter 107: Killed
“Pat, pat…”
The man staggered and fell face-first on the ground. His injuries were too severe. The continuous attacks by Su Yi had dealt him great damage.
“Swish…”
He felt something cold pressed against his neck. A large blade rested against his skin, making his hair stand on end as a chilling fear crept into the very depths of his soul.
“How many of you are there? What are their cultivation levels, and who is the strongest?” Su Yi stood before him, holding a large saber to the man’s neck. His tone was casual, almost indifferent.
“Punk, what are you trying to do?! If you dare kill me, my entire party will hunt you down. You’ll never escape!” The man’s voice trembled with terror. He had never imagined that his second encounter with Su Yi would lead to such a humiliating and dangerous situation.
“Chak!”
Before the man could finish his threat, Su Yi swung his saber. Blood sprayed into the air as the man’s left arm was severed cleanly from his body.
“Argh!”
The man screamed in agony, writhing on the ground as blood gushed like a fountain. Beads of cold sweat dotted his forehead as pain overtook him.
“I will only ask this once more: how many of you are there? What are their cultivation levels? And who is the strongest?” Su Yi’s voice was cold, his words carrying an undeniable weight. Gathering this information was vital.
“There are over sixty of us! Twenty are Yuan Xuan Realm cultivators! The leader is at Yuan Spirit Realm First Grade, and the vice-leader is on the verge of breaking through to Yuan Spirit Realm!” The man’s voice shook with fear as he desperately tried to scoot away from Su Yi. “If you kill me, our entire party will hunt you down! But if you let me go, I might be able to persuade the leader to forget this whole incident. What do you say?”
Su Yi’s gaze darkened. “I was considering sparing your life. But unfortunately, I hate threats.” His chilling words left no room for doubt.
“Shrak!”
With a swift motion, Su Yi plunged his saber into the man’s chest. The man’s desperate cries fell silent, his eyes widening in disbelief. The last sight he beheld was Su Yi standing tall, like the very embodiment of death. Only in his final moments did he realize how dreadfully they had underestimated this youth.
Su Yi knelt and searched the man’s body. Apart from a few medicinal herbs, there was nothing of value. The man didn’t even possess an interspatial bag.
“Swish!”
Without hesitation, Su Yi vanished from the scene.
The man had already launched a signal flare, and reinforcements from his party would soon arrive. This was not a place Su Yi could linger.
Judging from the information he had extracted, Su Yi knew he couldn’t afford to be careless.
The strongest member of the adventurer party was a Yuan Spirit Realm First Grade cultivator—an opponent Su Yi knew he couldn’t face, at least not yet.
There were also 20 Yuan Xuan Realm cultivators, likely some in Seventh or Eighth Grade, far beyond what Su Yi could handle alone.
But he wasn’t afraid. He had a trump card.
“Boom! Bang!”
“Die!”
Bi Ling and Yiyun had joined the fray. Five youths were locked in battle against seven adventurers. Yet, the outcome had been determined from the start.
Of the seven adventurers, only two were Yuan Xuan Realm cultivators, and they were merely First Grade.
Guoyan and the others were far superior, whether in martial arts techniques or cultivation methods.
Before long, all seven adventurers lay dead.
Guoyan and Zhouda stood among the fallen, their clothes splattered with blood, their hair disheveled. Despite their victory, they looked a little worse for wear.
Though the seven adversaries weren’t highly cultivated, they were seasoned fighters, and their combat experience honed through countless battles. This made them dangerous and caused the five youths more trouble than expected.
“That kid escaped that way! After him!” Guoyan and Zhouda, frustrated by the difficulty of the battle, were furious. They refused to let Su Yi slip through their grasp.
“Something is not right. Wasn’t this person on the same side as the kid?”
The five youths gathered around a corpse, their expressions clouded with confusion.
“From the looks of the injury, it should be the work of that kid. Strange…” Bi Ling spoke, her beautiful eyes gleaming.
“Swoosh! Swoosh!”
Suddenly, there was movement all around them.
In a few seconds, nine figures jumped out. Fierce auras exploded from their bodies.
“It seems that these brats were the ones that killed our men!”
Among the nine adventurers, the face of a middle-aged man darkened with anger. He looked and observed Guoyan, Zhouda, and the rest of the kids.
“Humph! They are but a flock of crows banding together, let’s just kill them all.” Zhouda looked at the nine people and was not at all worried.
“What an arrogant brat! But, those two ladies are not too shabby.” A man spoke, his eyes hooked onto the bodies of Bi Ling and Yiyun, not bothering to hide his lustful eyes.
“Not bad at all. The two ladies are not too shabby. They may be the Young Misses of some influential clans. Our brothers have not experienced some pleasure in a long while and we have never tasted the Young Misses of any large clans.”
“Tsk, tsk. They are still two virgins; the feeling should be quite different.”
The men laughed, their crude voices echoing in the forest. Their vulgar eyes roamed over Bi Ling and Yiyun, filled with predatory intent.
After venturing for so long in search of Su Yi and enduring countless hardships, they had restrained themselves for far too long. Now, faced with two strikingly beautiful women, their restraint snapped.
The Forest of Demons was a lawless place, where even the authority of major sects or factions held little sway. Emboldened by this, the adventurers couldn’t hold back their desires any longer. They looked ready to pounce.
Seeing those lecherous gazes and hearing their revolting words, Bi Ling and Yiyun’s expressions turned icy. A cold, dangerous light flickered in their eyes.
“Humph! You’re courting death!”
The words cut through the tension like a blade. Qingfeng couldn’t stand it anymore. How could he remain silent while these scoundrels insulted his Junior Sister Bi Ling? Clenching his sword, he formed a thrusting gesture, his Yuan Qi spiraling beneath his feet. In a flash, he lunged toward the men.
“Die!”
Guoyan and Zhouda followed closely, their Yuan Qi bursting forth as they launched a fierce assault. The leader of the adventurers frowned, his expression dark.
“These brats are stronger than they look. Be careful, and leave the two ladies alive!” he barked, his tone no longer casual. As the youths charged, their power was evident, forcing him to remain on guard.
Meanwhile, Su Yi rested in a hidden location. He had instructed the Fire Bird and Snow Jade Ape to guard him from the shadows, ensuring his safety.
Sitting cross-legged, he focused on meditation to replenish his depleted Yuan Qi. The continuous use of “Three Sabers of the Raging Dragon” and “Wrath of the Eight Wastelands” had drained him considerably.
Despite his exhaustion, Su Yi had refused help from the Flaming Beast Eagle and the Snow Jade Ape. He wanted to test how much he had grown during his recent training. The results left him satisfied.
“Roar!”
Hours later, Su Yi was stirred from his meditation by the Snow Jade Ape’s guttural cry.
“Someone is here.”
Su Yi stopped meditating. His previously pale face had already regained much of its rosy color.
Within the range of towering mountains, there was a small pass.
Three young males and two ladies were currently walking within the pass, their auras were weak and their faces grim as they kept on turning their heads to look behind them.
“It’s them.” At the peak of a mountain, at the mouth of a cave, Su Yi looked at the five figures below, his eyebrows slightly raised. He never expected to see those five people again.
