After a moment of silence, the Seven Star Sword Sect members suddenly reacted.
The disciples were filled with fear and began rushing down the mountain in a panicked frenzy.

Once inside, the Soul Devouring Emperor’s voice greeted them.
Upon seeing that Su Yi had awakened, the Soul Devouring Emperor’s expression turned to one of immense gratitude and joy.
“You’ve made progress!”
Su Yi was visibly elated but urged, “There’s no time for explanations. We need to act quickly. Just follow my lead!”
With that, Su Yi began his transformation magic.
Moments later, his appearance had completely altered, changing from a sixteen or seventeen-year-old into a man in his thirties.
Not only his appearance, but his aura shifted entirely.
Su Yi then donned a new outfit, concealing his former identity, and immediately summoned Soul Devouring Emperor to exit the mysterious space with him.
“What are we doing now?”
Soul Devouring Emperor was confused but chose not to question Su Yi. He knew the urgency of the situation.
Su Yi, however, was already in motion, urging, “No time for questions. Follow my lead!”
Quickly, Su Yi activated his transformation, disguising himself as a fully grown man and blending into his surroundings.
The goal was simple: stay one step ahead of the pursuers.
Shortly after, five figures appeared in the sky. When they noticed Su Yi, they descended toward him.
“It’s not the one we’re after!”
The old man scanned Su Yi, frowning.
“He looks much older than the person we were searching for!”
“Get out of the way!”
The man Su Yi had transformed into yelled with authority, brandishing a large weapon and charging ahead, pushing the five figures to move aside.
It was a bold move, and the old man was about to respond, but suddenly another voice cut through the air.
“Nowhere to run, human!”
The voice was powerful, commanding attention from all around.
From the air, a small figure descended, heading straight for the man in his thirties.
“Soul Devouring Emperor!”
The old man recognized the figure and was momentarily stunned.
“Seven Star Sword Sect?”
The Soul Devouring Emperor eyed the group with cold indifference.
“Forgive our intrusion, Soul Devouring Emperor,” the elder from the Seven Star Sword Sect greeted, his voice respectful. “We are searching for a young man and a bird. Have you seen them?”
The elder knew the Soul Devouring Emperor’s reputation for cruelty and wanted to ensure they didn’t provoke him unnecessarily.
Soul Devouring Emperor gave a sharp glance at Su Yi, still disguised as the man in his thirties. His voice turned icy. “Go after your own targets. I’ll deal with this one.”
Understanding, the members of the Seven Star Sword Sect turned to Su Yi, who spoke quickly.
“I saw them!”
He pointed to the direction. “They went that way, but they seemed to conceal their presence. I only noticed them when they passed by me.”
The Seven Star Sword Sect members nodded, satisfied with the information. “Then we’ll take care of it from here.”
The elder smiled, turning to Soul Devouring Emperor. “We’ll handle our business and leave this one to you.”
Just before the group left, the old man glanced over his shoulder. “Don’t think we’ll forget about you!”
“Master, are you alright?”
Once the Seven Star Sword Sect members were gone, Soul Devouring Emperor turned to Su Yi.
“I’m fine!”
Su Yi smiled, rubbing his arm, still sore from being grabbed by the elder earlier.
“We’ve fooled them! Now, it’s my turn to make my move!”
Su Yi quickly snatched up Soul Devouring Emperor and headed toward the mine’s entrance, filled with purpose.
With Soul Devouring Emperor’s newfound strength, they sped off even faster than before. Su Yi had just realized the Soul Devouring Emperor had broken through to the fifth level of the Demonic Emperor Realm!
