Yu Wuxin was painting in the bamboo pavilion. Xu Xinghe lay beside him, pouting boredly, leaning over from time to time to interrupt his work.

Each time, Yu Wuxin would gently tap her on the head with his index finger, earning him a dissatisfied look. He simply found her utterly adorable.

“Immortal Lord~ I want to go play with Little White, okay?” Xu Xinghe tugged at Yu Wuxin’s sleeve and asked in a sweet voice.

Little White was a small white rabbit that Xu Xinghe found a few days ago. She loved small and soft animals like this. If she didn’t get to pet it for a day, her hands would feel itchy.

She wanted to bring Little White back to raise, but Yu Wuxin absolutely refused. In the end, Yu Wuxin placed Little White in a patch of grass just outside Wuwang Pavilion.

Yu Wuxin looked at Xu Xinghe’s earnest face and sighed helplessly. He could not allow any other living creature to exist in Wuwang Pavilion besides the two of them, not even a rabbit.

When she opened her eyes again, this was the scene before her. Thinking about Yu Wuxin, that yandere, she inwardly groaned. He probably thought she had run away.

“I… I was just passing through! What do you want?” Xu Xinghe said, lacking confidence and conviction.

The three elders were almost laughed speechless by her. If they hadn’t sensed that she had no murderous intent, they would have killed her already.

“Could she be a spy sent by the demons?”

“It’s hard to say. Then what should we do with her?”

“How about…” The three white-bearded old men huddled together and whispered, unable to come up with a solution for a moment.

But when Xu Xinghe heard that, she refused to leave. She quickly interrupted, “I want to go back to Wuwang Pavilion! I am Yu Wuxin’s… his fiancée!”

Everyone present was stunned. This woman said she was Yu Wuxin’s what? Fiancée?!

A white-bearded elder in a purple robe sneered. “Nonsense. Yu Wuxin is the master of the Jade Sword Sect. How could he pledge himself in marriage to a demon woman?”

Seeing that they didn’t believe her at all, Xu Xinghe became really anxious. Then she remembered something. She fumbled at her waist.

“This is the token of love he gave me.” Xu Xinghe unclipped the space jade pendant from her waist and showed it to everyone.

That was Yu Wuxin’s space jade pendant!

The three white-bearded elders were completely dumbfounded. So everything this demon woman said was true?!

They gasped sharply in unison. They had just captured the Master’s wife and interrogated her as a demon woman.

“I suddenly remembered that I haven’t eaten lunch yet. I’ll be going first.” The purple-robed elder wiped the cold sweat from his forehead and said.
