At that moment, Ye Wushuang took a step forward and strode towards the inner hall.

*Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh…*

In an instant, three figures lunged forward, daggers gleaming as they aimed for Ye Wushuang’s face. The Tianya Sword flashed with a brilliant light as Ye Wushuang swung it, unleashing a burst of sword energy that seemed to slice through the very air itself.

In the next moment, the three figures each had a thin, precise cut across their necks. Blood sprayed out like a crimson fountain, and they collapsed to the ground, lifeless.

They were merely at the first tier of the Ningmai Realm—no match for Ye Wushuang.

The commotion caused by the deaths of the three men naturally drew the attention of those in the inner hall. A dozen or so figures stepped out, their eyes glinting with a mixture of surprise and malice, and surged towards him all at once.

As Ye Wushuang reached the entrance of the inner hall, his eyes fell upon Liu Yuemei, who was lying unconscious on the ground, her chest still rising and falling with breath. Ye Feifei, on the other hand, had her hands and feet bound and was lying on a cold, blood-red jade slab, her face pale as death. Upon seeing Ye Wushuang appear, Ye Feifei, her mouth gagged, made a muffled sound, her little face streaked with tears.

“Feifei!” Ye Wushuang’s eyes were filled with a concentrated killing intent as he took a step forward.

“Hm?” At this moment, there were three people surrounding the blood-red jade slab—two men and one woman. One of the men appeared to be in his thirties, dressed in a pure white robe. Beside him was a young man who looked to be about seventeen or eighteen years old. As for the woman, she had a plump figure and an air of nobility, wearing a black dress that was very fitting.

At this moment, the man in the robe raised his eyebrows and looked at Ye Wushuang, surprised. “There was a fluctuation of the Yuanfu Realm in the fight over there, and yet you survived?” he said.

Ye Wushuang forced himself to stay calm and looked at the man in the robe, his tone cold. “Do you know me?”

“Of course, descendant of the Ye Clan, Ye Wushuang from the Ye family of Liuyue City,” the man in the robe smiled faintly. “We met six years ago, but you probably forgot!”

Six years ago? He was ten years old—the age when the bloodline power was stripped away!

Ye Wushuang immediately said indifferently, “It was you who stripped the bloodline spirit from the descendants of the Ye Clan, making it impossible for them to awaken the bloodline power ever again.”

“That’s right,” the man in the robe smiled. “Ye Wushuang, your bloodline spirit has already been stripped away. You won’t live past forty, so we have no interest in you. Your sister, however, is exactly ten years old this year. It’s her bloodline spirit that we need.”

“However, this is also the last time we will appear within the borders of the Qingyun Empire. Your Ye Clan has… come to an end with your generation.”

Ye Wushuang asked again, “Who are you?”

“Us?” The man smiled. “We are beings you will never know. A small country like the Qingyun Empire is not worthy of knowing our existence.”

Ye Wushuang gave a self-mocking smile. “You’ve driven our Ye Clan to the brink of extinction. You should at least let us know who did it, right?”

The man was taken aback for a moment, looking into Ye Wushuang’s determined eyes, and then he laughed. “Alright.”

“We come from the Tianji Mansion. I am Tianyun Yan from the Tianji Mansion!” The man smiled. “But even if I tell you, you probably won’t know what the Tianji Mansion is.”

“I know,” Ye Wushuang’s tone remained cold. “Xu Wenxuan and Li Yunmo were also killed by your Tianji Mansion.”

“Oh?” Tianyun Yan was slightly stunned for a moment, but then he laughed. “Is that so? I don’t remember…”

Is that so! I don’t remember!

Ye Wushuang’s fists clenched tightly, his veins bulging as he looked at the three people and said indifferently, “I once said that I wouldn’t let my sister be bullied anymore. So, can you let my sister go?”

Hearing this, the young man beside Tianyun Yan stepped forward and sneered. “A worm living in the lowest and most despicable place, do you think you have the right to negotiate with us?”

Hearing this, Ye Wushuang raised his gaze, looked directly at the young man, and said again, “Don’t I?”
