Xuan Qingyi looked at Ye Wushuang with concern and said, “But your vitality is depleted—what can you even do?”
”I have a way. Just remember what I said.”
  ”Alright, then… be careful!”
As Ye Wushuang finished speaking, more crimson threads emerged from the center of the altar, spreading toward his palm, arm, and body.
These threads pierced through Ye Wushuang’s body surface, drawing blood, and then began pulling him towards the stone platform.
Although Xuan Tianyi, Xuan Qingyi, and Muge were worried in their hearts, they ultimately did not intervene.
When Ye Wushuang’s body was pulled to the center of the stone platform, near Xuan Tiansheng, it gradually came to a stop.
  ”Blood-Siphoning Secret Technique!”
Ye Wushuang murmured, “This altar… is it sealing something?”
As he spoke, more and more threads wrapped around Ye Wushuang’s body, devouring his blood.
At the center of the altar, Xuan Tiansheng suddenly opened his eyes and said in confusion, “Ye Wushuang? Why is it you?”
”Don’t speak yet. Stay clear-headed and don’t resist.”
Ye Wushuang said earnestly, “Otherwise, both of us might die.”
Xuan Tiansheng froze for a moment but eventually nodded.
He felt as though he had been trapped in a nightmare—one so agonizing it seemed he would never wake up.
As Xuan Tiansheng stopped resisting, both of their bodies became entwined with blood threads. The blood mist around Xuan Tiansheng’s body dissipated, and the cyan glow surrounding the stone platform vanished.
Xuan Tiansheng felt somewhat better and looked at Ye Wushuang again, exclaiming, “You brat…”
  Before he could finish speaking.
  Suddenly.
At the center of the altar, a loud boom erupted.
Right in the middle of the entire altar, the ground suddenly collapsed, revealing a passage beneath their feet.
Then, a terrifying gravitational force pulled them both straight into the passage, vanishing without a trace.
  ”Big bro!”
  ”Ye Wushuang!”
Xuan Tianyi, Xuan Qingyi, and Muge all looked panicked.
Xuan Tiansheng had taken the risk to break through to the Saint Heaven Realm, but if something happened to him here, the Xuan Tian Mansion would lose its Star-Transcending Perfection powerhouse—a completely different matter altogether.
Inside the passage at the altar’s center, Ye Wushuang and Xuan Tiansheng plummeted rapidly.
  Until, at some point—
  Thud! Thud!
Two low thuds echoed as their bodies crashed onto the hard stone floor. With a groan, both passed out.
After an unknown amount of time—
Ye Wushuang slowly opened his eyes, trying to sit up, only to feel as if every bone in his body was shattered.
  Pain wracked his entire being.
Looking around, he saw only darkness, save for a faint glow in the left front.
After recovering for a while, Ye Wushuang struggled to his feet.
That fall nearly knocked his soul out of his body.
Beside him, Xuantian Sheng lay on the ground, breathing steadily, still unconscious at the moment.
It wasn’t that Ye Wushuang was more resilient to falls, but rather that Xuantian Sheng had previously endured the altar’s blood-draining seal, leaving him in a worse state than Ye Wushuang.
Ye Wushuang approached Xuantian Sheng, checked that he was merely unconscious and not seriously injured, and let out a sigh of relief.
After sitting cross-legged and recovering for a while, Ye Wushuang finally stood up and surveyed the surroundings.
The spot where the two had fallen was a massive bluestone slab, its surface engraved with intricate patterns. The area was enclosed by stone walls, with only a narrow gap no wider than one meter to the left front.
After a moment’s thought, Ye Wushuang decided to follow the gap deeper inside.
The light ahead was faint at first but gradually grew stronger as Ye Wushuang ventured further in.
Passing through the narrow passage, what came into view was a vast underground cavern.
At a glance, the cavern appeared circular, with a diameter of at least a hundred zhang. Above, densely packed stone ridges hung upside down from the ceiling.
Along the cavern walls, stone chambers and towers were carved out one after another, while at the center stood an ancient palace glowing with a faint bluish-green light.
The ancient palace stood nearly thirty meters high, with only one main hall, whose gates were now wide open, appearing like a gaping abyss waiting for Ye Wushuang to enter.
Taking a deep breath, Ye Wushuang did not rush into the ancient palace to investigate but instead walked along the edge of the nest, observing the surrounding stone chambers and buildings.
These stone chambers and buildings were carved out of the mountain walls, with a single passageway running in a full circle.
Ye Wushuang walked along the passage, carefully eyeing each stone chamber with vigilance.
  ”Hmm?”
Not far into his walk, as he passed by a stone chamber, Ye Wushuang suddenly halted his steps.
This stone chamber was over three meters wide and extended ten meters deep.
The walls of the chamber were inlaid with luminous pearls, emitting a soft glow.
Moreover, inside the chamber were large stones, each holding a spiritual weapon.
Blades, spears, swords, halberds—a dazzling array of spiritual weapons of all kinds.
At a glance, there were at least a hundred pieces, and Ye Wushuang could sense that every single one was an Imperial-grade spiritual artifact.
In the entire Tianyuan Continent, there were few Star-Shattering Realm martial artists, and on average, only one in ten might possess an Imperial-grade spiritual artifact.
This is not to say that there are no master craftsmen of Emperor-grade spiritual weapons on the Tianyuan Continent, but… suitable materials are lacking.
Unique metals, ores, and the like are essential materials for forging Emperor-grade spiritual weapons.
These hundreds of Emperor-grade spiritual weapons can be considered a tremendous fortune.
Ye Wushuang waved his hand, and his spiritual energy transformed into a palm, reaching out to grasp one of the Emperor-grade spiritual weapons.
  Bang!!!
  A low, muffled explosion sounded.
  The spiritual energy palm shattered.
Ye Wushuang took a step back as intricate seal patterns emerged on the surfaces of the spiritual weapons in the stone chamber.
  ”Sealed away…”
Upon closer thought, it made sense. If not for the seals, these spiritual weapons, left silent here for years and eroded by time, would have long lost their spiritual essence.
  ”But this won’t stop me!”
The seals on these spiritual weapons were not particularly aggressive; their main purpose was to preserve the weapons’ spiritual essence from erosion.
Ye Wushuang didn’t take much time to undo the seals one by one before collecting all the spiritual weapons in one go into the Nine-Layered Divine Suppression Tower.
These weapons would significantly enhance the combat power of the Star-Shattering Realm experts within the Holy Heaven Sect.
Meanwhile, those not needed could be auctioned at the Tianyuan Pavilion or the Heavenly Treasure Commerce to exchange for spirit stones, aiding the sect’s development.
  Ye Wushuang continued forward.
Most of these stone chambers and buildings were empty.
Upon closer inspection, Ye Wushuang discovered that perhaps these stone chambers and buildings originally housed something, but over time, most items had turned to dust and ashes. The stone chamber preserving spiritual artifacts earlier was one of the few relatively intact remnants.
  ”What a pity…”
Ye Wushuang currently lacked nothing in terms of weapons or techniques, but the Sacred Heaven Sect was in dire need.
After covering a small portion of the distance without significant gains, Ye Wushuang stepped into the next stone chamber, where an ancient, weathered aura greeted him.
In the center of the spacious chamber stood a solitary three-legged cauldron, towering proudly.
Years of accumulated dust covered the cauldron’s surface.
Yet at a glance, this cauldron exuded a unique, majestic aura…
