**Nine-Tiered Spirit-Taming Tower!**

This tower, which had once caused a great upheaval in the Canghuang Sky, had been obtained by Ye Wushuang through his formidable strength. However, it also brought upon him the disaster of being sealed away. During the million years of his confinement, he had continuously studied the tower, and the more he delved into it, the more he realized that the Nine-Tiered Spirit-Taming Tower was incredibly mysterious and might not even be a divine artifact from within the Canghuang Sky.

As the first tier of the Nine-Tiered Spirit-Taming Tower was activated, Ye Wushuang’s figure vanished from the backyard and appeared within the first tier of the tower. In an instant, a vast expanse of land and sky unfolded before his eyes.

At that moment, Ye Wushuang’s hands, resembling tiger claws, seemed capable of tearing through stone and iron as he struck out with a single claw. A whooshing sound of wind echoed through the air. Inside the Nine-Tiered Spirit-Taming Tower, time flowed at half the speed of the outside world, which was one of the tower’s remarkable features.

**Tiger’s Claw!**

**Tiger’s Seize!**

**Tiger’s Break!**

Each move of the Tiger Roar Fist erupted from within Ye Wushuang, generating sonic booms. At this moment, Ye Wushuang was like a fierce tiger, unstoppable and overwhelming.

After spending two hours within the Nine-Tiered Spirit-Taming Tower, Ye Wushuang communicated with his intent and exited the tower, reappearing in the backyard of the Ye Mansion. He had now fully mastered the nine moves of the Tiger Roar Fist.

His eyes bright and resolute, Ye Wushuang rose to his feet, preparing to leave. However, before departing, he had some preparations to make.

Ye Wushuang approached the decaying statue, which stood a丈 high, and slightly extended his palm, allowing his spiritual energy to manifest. In that instant, the statue radiated a brilliant light, and four beams of light soared into the air, transforming into the forms of the Azure Dragon, White Tiger, Vermilion Bird, and Black Tortoise. These figures dispersed to the four directions of the Ye Mansion and then vanished from sight.

At that moment, Ye Qingfeng, Liu Yuemei, Ye Feifei, and He Bo all sensed a sudden change in the Ye Mansion. It felt different, as if a new aura had settled over it.

In reality, the statue had been carved by Ye Wushuang’s ninth soul and contained an array known as the Four Spirits Heavenly Palace Array. Once activated, this array was incredibly powerful; even a strong warrior at the Heavenly Gang level would meet a tragic end if they dared to intrude.

Although the statue had decayed over the years and the array’s power had diminished, it was still strong enough to deter and potentially kill intruders at the Meridian Condensation level. This was the very reason Ye Wushuang felt confident enough to stay after killing Yun He. At the very least, the array could protect his family from threats.

After completing these preparations, Ye Wushuang made his way to the front hall, preparing to leave the mansion.

“Brother, where are you going?” Ye Feifei asked as she saw Ye Wushuang heading out the door.

“Brother is going to earn some silver. You, Mother, Uncle, and He Bo should stay at home. I’ll be back by evening and bring you something delicious,” Ye Wushuang replied.

Ye Feifei’s eyes sparkled with excitement as she said, “I want to eat the candied hawthorn skewers from the old shop in the west of the city.”

“Deal!” Ye Wushuang nodded and strode out of the Ye Mansion.

Liu Yuemei, Ye Qingfeng, and He Bo watched Ye Wushuang leave, their hearts still filled with worry. If the Yun family discovered that Ye Wushuang was still alive, they would surely come again!

As Ye Wushuang left the mansion, he looked at Liuyue City, where he had lived for sixteen years in this life. It felt both familiar and strange. Taking a deep breath, he made his way directly to a marketplace within Liuyue City and stopped in front of a large building. As he gazed at the wide and towering entrance, his eyes gradually grew resolute.

**The Soul-Devouring Hall!**

This was a unique place within Liuyue City.

Liuyue City was controlled by four major families: the Yun, Wei, Qin, and the Wang family of the city lord, each governing one of the four districts of the city. In addition to these, there were also branches of organizations like the Holy Pill Pavilion, which had roots in the imperial capital and held a special status within Liuyue City.

The Soul-Devouring Hall, however, had an unclear background. It had always existed peacefully within Liuyue City, and no one dared to provoke it. Inside the Soul-Devouring Hall, a group of outlaws gathered. Here, as long as you had money, you could hire assassins or indulge in any vice you desired. Similarly, if you had the strength, you could earn money here.
