Chapter 7: Tina’s Transformation and Determination!
Tina gazed at the map, meticulously hand-drawn by Lolth, barely able to suppress her gasp.
If it were only the exquisite design, her reaction might have been understandable. After all, the maps used by the Demon Army in the past were notoriously poor.
But this was different. This was what a true military-grade map should look like! Its accuracy was astounding—almost precise.
The main point is the information marked by Lolth on it.
“White Moon Fortress is primarily guarded by Elves—around nine hundred and seventy archers, with about three hundred reaching Elite Level; about two hundred mage Elves, with around forty reaching Elite Level as master wizards. There may also be some human cavalry, White Elf scouts, and small groups of troops. Elite forces include a legendary Elven leader and two epic Elven priests.”
“Molten Iron Fortress is mainly manned by dwarves, with approximately one thousand four hundred dwarf warriors and around three hundred dwarf craftsmen also considered as combatants; around five hundred elite warriors, possibly fifty equipped with advanced weaponry such as dwarf catapults, crossbows, cannons, and armed aircraft, with combat capabilities surpassing ordinary Elite Level. There is only one epic master dwarf, but he may possess an aggressively offensive Divine Artifact or pseudo-Divine Artifact.”
“Central Fortress is stationed by the Holy Alliance coalition army, numbering between four and five thousand soldiers, with about one thousand elites. These troops are diverse in units and races, possibly led by a legendary Sage.”
The information about the three fortresses is written in such astonishing detail!
The garrison camps and outposts of the Anti-Demon Great Wall are also noted, with positions marked and even the patrol routes outlined. Furthermore, she accurately spotted Dragonspine Mountain’s abandoned mine site, labeled with warning signs.
There’s a secret passage there, activated by a dwarven command, capable of moving around a thousand troops. It is one of the Holy Alliance’s major hidden cards in the western defensive line.
Once the Demon Army launches a full-scale attack, a special unit can use it to launch a surprise attack—one of the most guarded secrets known to fewer than twenty people!
If she hadn’t seen Lolth sketch this map herself, she might have suspected it was confiscated from the Holy Alliance!
The problem is that this succubus just drew this.
How did she know this much?
Since being captured, Tina had felt new emotions replacing her fear.
Those emotions were doubt and worry.
After all, if the Western Front is breached, most of the Moon Rising Mountains will fall under the control of the Demon Army.
The Moon Rising Mountains, along with the plains and valleys beyond, are where most of the Elf Tribe lives.
This map clearly shows the Demon Army’s focus on the Western Front.
The information on it is enough to deal a heavy blow to the western front line’s defense and possibly break through in one fell swoop!
With these doubts, Tina gradually calmed herself.
I must find out where this person gets her information from.
Falling into the hands of the Demon Army and losing herself is only a matter of time.
However, I can’t let more fairy sisters suffer like this!
Despite the priests’ and elders’ opposition, Tina joined the Holy Alliance as a princess and led the tribe in the battle to protect her homeland and people.
Although she was captured during the first battle and had likely become a joke, Tina realized something at that moment.
In the interrogation room of the Demon King Castle, she still can play a role, she can still create her own mission.
The Succubus Interrogator mentioned earlier, she is not interested in “interrogating to get information from her”.
Perhaps it was because she already had other sources of information!
After all, many others from the Western Front had been captured alongside Tina—Elves, dwarves, humans, and orcs among them.
Maybe some of them had already been interrogated and had succumbed to the pressure, revealing sensitive information.
Considering the detailed intelligence Lolth had acquired, Tina inferred that either the traitor was as important and powerful as she was, or there was more than one traitor!
Her task now was to uncover and eliminate the traitor or the traitors inside this Demon King Castle.
Tina decided to feign surrender to trick the Succubus Interrogator into revealing information.
After all, only through her could Tina uncover the source of the information.
Although Sister Froer had warned her before:
“Succubi are the most deceitful among all demon races. Be careful with succubi; each of their words could be a trap, and they possess terrifying abilities to manipulate souls! In history, there have been succubi who infiltrated human royal families, hypnotizing rulers unnoticed and starting wars!”
However, now, when facing a succubus…
Tina had decided she would engage her opponent in the area where the opponent excelled!
Just as Tina made up her mind, a gate hidden in the nearby forest opened once again.
Interrogator Lolth returned to the room.
