Chapter 273: Obstruction and Departure

Kululu didn’t mean to almost suffocate the top councilors; she just didn’t quite understand how weak the non-Superoperator humans of the main plane were.

However, she didn’t plan to apologize for it; in her eyes, these three guys were already like the dead.

Even though she could see that these three seemed to hold high positions and great power—what did that matter to her, Kululu?

These guys wanted to kill Lolth, and the people they sent put Lolth in a very dangerous situation, almost preventing her from returning to the main plane; so, in Kululu’s view, they certainly deserved to die.

But before they died, she still needed to find out what kind of connection they had with the God of Demise and whether they had leaked everything to the God of Demise.

She had confidently promised Fuen that she could handle those evil gods, and then Lolth had ended up in the Realm of the End…

This guy knows quite a bit," Kululu thought for a moment, glancing at the three disheveled highest councilors of Seychelles, then she smirked and infused a bit of magic into it. "Alright, I won’t intervene; you can leave now – let Lolth deal with these guys herself… Hmm, it shouldn’t be hard for her."

As she said this, she showed a look of regret.

"It’s truly unfortunate that you managed to save your lives, but next time you encounter me, you won’t be so lucky."

Without waiting for the three highest councilors of Seychelles to respond, Kululu waved her hand and made them vanish from their spot.

After agreeing to the other party’s request, Kululu couldn’t turn against them and kill them; she simply sent them back to where they came from.

She showed a look of confusion and glanced at the hole in the ceiling, wondering if the demon named "Lolth" had flown away from there.

A few minutes later, Aberdovey’s sheriff arrived with his team, looking at the hole in the roof and the fainted Superoperator. He opened the door and saw the unhurt Mia Edith, breathing a sigh of relief.

"Thank goodness you’re okay, dear Miss Edith… I’m sorry we arrived a bit too late and let the attacker escape."

Upon seeing him, Mia Edith became somewhat cold.

"Um… I’m fine," she said softly while leaning on her cane, "but I don’t know if Uncle Robers, Uncle Feller, and Uncle Katz are okay?"

"What?! The senior council members… How could they be here!"

Hearing those three familiar names, the sheriff’s heart, which had just settled, sank again.

"I don’t know either, but I did hear their voices… and they were almost killed by a demon named ‘Lolthlinda.’"

Mia Edith continued calmly.

"The attackers are from the demon race? The highest officials almost died?"

The sheriff listened to Mia Edith’s words and almost fainted.
