Chapter 236: The Slime’s Great Achievement
“Intruder Category Assessment: Magical Energy—Low Level, Monster; Emotional Wave—None; Conclusion: No subjective hostility, but a threat.”
“Proceed with analysis assessment: Yes.”
“Race: slime (95% probability), goo monster (3.7% probability), others (each below 2% probability, negligible).”
“Power Level: Ordinary Level (100% probability).”
“Output Keywords: Ordinary Level magical power, strong regeneration trait, no defense trait, no evasion trait, no hostility, threatening monster;”
“Execute strategy: Magic · Disjunction Spell · No suffix execution (Strength level 3); Magic · Space Transfer · Space coordinates move back ten units (Strength level 3).”
“Output strategy: Magic · Disjunction Spell · No suffix execution (Strength level 3).”
The moment the slime entered the magic circle’s detection range, the entire ancient rune core began operating at high speed. In mere milliseconds—so rapidly that even a legend-level ranger could not effectively respond—the magic operation completed.
An Arcane · Disjunction Spell with strength level three erupted from the magic circle. A pale purple light instantly struck the slime’s elastic, magical body, shining as it continuously broke down and regenerated the slime, ultimately shattering its crystal core as well.
However, the impact of the Disjunction Spell extended beyond simply eliminating an unfortunate slime!
Because the adjacent magic circle was tightly linked to Lolth’s magical power, the result resembled turning on electricity while Lolth was changing a light bulb.
Particularly with her fingers inserted into the light bulb’s base.
The energy vibration from the activated Disjunction Spell reawakened the closed Space Magic Array, causing the magical flow to disturb the yet-unformed rune structure and forcing the magic circle to operate chaotically.
Worse still, distracted by Tina, Lolth noticed this phenomenon a moment too late!
Although a sign at the construction site in western Hillenbrand Town warned, “Working while tired can be deadly, prioritize safety,” Lolth never anticipated experiencing an accident because of it.
As for Tina, she was completely absorbed in enjoyment, and with the security she felt beside Lolth, she was even less likely to immediately notice anything unusual!
After all, Lolth had rescued her even in the most perilous moments within the wicked Divine Kingdom; what could possibly threaten her while remaining at Lolth’s side?
“Oh no.”
Just as this thought crossed Lolth’s mind, she sensed the magic circle seemingly recognizing both her and Tina’s magical signatures before activating a “preset space magic.”
A common slime certainly couldn’t affect Lolth and Tina, but the magic circle Lolth had established was an entirely different matter!
Naturally, this level of trouble wouldn’t truly harm Lolth and Tina… though it would subject them to momentary discomfort.
Following the spatial disturbance, Tina and Lolth suddenly materialized approximately five or six meters closer to Hillenbrand Town’s southern edge, then both tumbled to the ground.
“Splash.”
The rune structure in Lolth’s hand vanished and fell.
Beneath her, Tina lay supine, somewhat disoriented.
The pair resembled characters from an old cartoon following a pratfall.
Their bodies partially overlapped, chests pressed closely together, thighs and arms intertwined, faces merely centimeters apart with noses nearly touching.
The mingled scents of fresh grass, soil, and forest, along with Tina’s subtle floral fragrance, filled Lolth’s nostrils. Silver hair strands and Tina’s gem-like green eyes reflected Lolth’s figure, complemented by the soft sensation from the thin fabric between their bodies.
Their soft, slightly moist lips were exceedingly close, and Tina’s flawless face appeared extraordinarily beautiful in the sunset light filtering through the trees. The warm breath and rhythmic heartbeat reached Lolth, and after the magic dissipated, she detected an unusual sense of “anticipation, shyness,” and a distinct “excitement” emanating from the other girl’s soul.
Even Lolth felt momentarily flustered, as the tail concealed in her pants swayed side to side.
Tina likewise observed Lolth, noting the pure and lovely succubus owner with her subtly alluring features and pretty eyes, the black hair strands falling across her temple, the trees swaying in the gentle breeze behind her, the orange-red, ambiguous sky, and the gaze directed toward her, which made her swallow involuntarily.
“Lolth, my dear,” she couldn’t help but murmur softly, before quickly realizing it sounded inappropriate and modifying her words, “Are… are you okay?”
“I’m okay, I’m okay,” Tina’s voice rendered Lolth somewhat more alert. She vigorously shook her head to dispel the dreamlike sensation from her mind and asked, “But what about you? Are you alright?”
“I’m fine too… Master Lolth.”
As Tina spoke, she regarded Lolth, wanting to speak yet hesitating.
She wished to remind Lolth that they should rise from the ground, but the sensation of being pinned beneath Master Lolth felt quite pleasant.
Lolth’s mind remained blank, uncertain how to proceed.
Due to succubus nature, she wouldn’t withdraw when in such proximity to a soft, warm, age-appropriate elf, even unconsciously.
With much of her cognitive ability compromised, she naturally couldn’t employ reason to overcome this instinct.
Without Tina saying anything, Lolth could merely struggle to prevent herself from engaging in teasing or inappropriate behavior, lacking the mental capacity to consider standing up.
The two gazed at each other silently as sunset gradually slipped below the horizon…
Under the softening light and night’s gentle arrival, amid rustling leaves stirred by the evening breeze, though Lolth, the succubus, remained motionless, Tina couldn’t help but slightly narrow her eyes and extend her hand through Lolth’s arm, reaching toward the somewhat endearing face she had dreamed of and longed for countless times.
“Mistress Lolth…”
Simultaneously, on the mountain forest’s opposite side, the concerned Isabella entered the seemingly tranquil southern woods.
“Lolthlinda, Tina… please avoid trouble again.”
The anxious Grand Knight hurriedly searched the forest for Lolth and Tina.
