Chapter 14: Caretaker Tina Goes Online
The next morning, after a good night’s sleep, Lolth yawned and pushed open the door to the “Human-Ryman Empire Special Interrogation Room,” stepping into the Moon Elf Interrogation Chamber.
As soon as she entered, she was startled.
She saw a very tired-looking Tina.
Even though the Elven talent kept her hair from becoming dry and frizzy and prevented any dark circles under her eyes due to lack of sleep, seeing Tina sitting by the wooden table, looking like a grieving elven aunt, ten times more dazed than yesterday, Lolth immediately understood that the Elf Princess hadn’t slept well last night.
She recalled the story of the Princess and the Pea she had read in a past life.
Could it be that the carefully recreated environment of the Moon Elf habitat still didn’t meet this young girl’s standards?
But considering that the other person had seemed a bit erratic yesterday, Lolth thought it might be due to too much pressure.
Honestly, if I were caught at the Holy Alliance headquarters…
Um, maybe I won’t have trouble sleeping…
But for most people captured at enemy headquarters, at least the first night should be difficult.
Thinking about this, Lolth stopped worrying.
Let’s give this little elf girl some time!
Time will prove to her that the Demon King Castle is not that scary and will also prove that she is actually a kind succubus!
However, Lolth didn’t intend to let her continue imagining things.
After a night of sleep, Lolth had come to a realization.
This is someone who loves daydreaming, so she needed to be kept busy.
Working would help reduce daydreaming a lot!
So, thinking this, Lolth walked up to her and tapped the table.
“Good morning, Miss Tina.”
Tina heard Lolth’s greeting and looked at her with some resentment.
“Good morning, Master Lolth.”
Her voice sounded a bit weak.
” seems like you didn’t rest well, but you won’t have time to rest now,” Lolth said with a cold smile. “Even though you are no longer valuable for gathering information, the Demon King Castle won’t keep a pig that only knows how to eat and rest, no matter how valuable it may be!”
Hearing Lolth’s words, Tina’s originally lifeless eyes lit up with a hint of something different.
“I understand, Master Lolth,” she said reluctantly as if battling against some unseen force. “Please give me the task…”
“Task… fine, let’s call it a task,” Lolth sighed helplessly. “Come with me.”
She spoke and led Tina out of the interrogation room.
The two walked silently through the long corridor, passing by one interrogation room after another. Tina couldn’t help but feel her heart racing.
“For humans only”, “For orcs only”, “For dwarves only”…
And even “For the Dragon race only!”
The races and powers listed covered almost all components of the Holy Alliance!
This succubus has big ambitions!
Or rather, the entire Demon Army has big ambitions!
Tina couldn’t help but recall scenes filled with interrogation rooms.
It must be a scene like a human hell!
Women from all races—the most beautiful and noble—shackled, naked, imprisoned like the lowliest of dogs, being played with by the succubus before them…
Just thinking about it was terrifying!
However, deep down, Tina felt she could somehow accept it.
It was as if an evil voice inside was telling her…
“Why am I the only one being treated like this? They should all taste this kind of corruption, just like I do!”
Such thoughts almost startled Tina.
She couldn’t help but worry.
More and more negative thoughts were growing inside her soul as if the succubus was silently corroding her from within!
It seemed her outward submission was no longer enough to satisfy Lolth.
She wanted to fall completely into darkness, to lose all her good qualities!
I… must persevere.
Tina clenched her fist.
She just didn’t know how much longer she could hold on…
She thought sadly to herself.
Soon, she realized that Lolth was leading her away from the floor of the interrogation rooms.
At the end of the hallway, they climbed a winding staircase, going up.
“Where are we going?”
Tina couldn’t hold back any longer and asked.
“To the farm.”
Lolth answered casually.
Hearing Lolth’s answer, Tina was greatly shocked.
“F-farm…farm…!”
Combined with what Lolth had just said to her, inappropriate images immediately appeared in her mind.
Could this be the final destination for prisoners who had lost all their value?
Becoming a true “breeding stock”!
Tina trembled even more violently.
Lolth glanced at her, somewhat understanding that the elf was imagining something “not safe for work” again.
“It’s a normal farm… Oh well, you’ll see for yourself.”
She quickened her pace, leading Tina up a few hundred steps to the topmost level of the prison tower.
“We really should have installed an elevator with all the budget we have…”
Lolth grumbled while catching her breath, pushing open the iron door to the top floor of the prison tower.
There was no roof here—it resembled a massive terrace, as wide as four to five football fields, covered with lush grass and bushes bearing green fruit.
Dozens of gentle, large animals were leisurely living there, grazing on grass, each species appearing in groups of three to five.
Tina found many of them somewhat familiar.
For example, the earth turtle—a large creature with four legs and a shell that lived in the Moon Rise Mountains.
Even though the Elves rarely hunt earth turtles, they consider them a gift if they find a dead one in nature.
Therefore, Tina knew very well that the meat of the earth turtle was very delicious.
Many human nobles also love this creature!
However, as Tina looked at these gentle creatures, she became puzzled.
How could this succubus use these creatures to torment her?
Tina felt intense curiosity and confusion.
It was at this moment that Lolth spoke out.
“While it’s fine to keep these creatures since you’re here, you are responsible for feeding them,” Lolth said lazily, “Elves are naturally inclined towards them, right?”
“That is a Wood Elf, the Moon Elves do not have druid abilities…”
Tina looked at Lolth and protested.
“The relationship between Moon Elves and Wood Elves is closer than that between a succubus and Wood Elves, so it’s decided. Take care of them! For today, start by cleaning up the weeds and trash here!”
Lolth’s tone brooked no argument, and Tina could only nod in agreement.
“Understood, Master Lolth.”
