Chapter 332: Delivery

In the evening, sitting on a lonely plank in a low area of Booty Bay, looking at four moons in the sky, Jesse closed his eyes, took a deep breath, then opened them again to see the four moons.

He rubbed his eyes.

Originally planned to go out tonight to find the goblins and deliver these three mushrooms, but my legs are too weak to climb up. I’ll rest here for the night and recover before continuing.

Molofeel sat beside with a mocking smile on his face.

"What are you laughing at?" Jesse asked.

"Because she went in to sneak a peek, master!" Saenor exclaimed. "I told her not to go in, warned her it would expose the master, but she didn’t listen to me!"

"I am not surprised at all," Jesse said, looking at the succubus.

"You knew I sneaked in?" the succubus asked.

"Of course, we have a Soul Link after all. You don’t think I would be clueless with you in my head, right?" Jesse glanced at her and said, "I could even sense you staring at me from the side. So come clean, did you cast any strange spells on me?"

"Well, the master forbids me from casting spells on you, so I dare not do anything," Molofeel said with his head tilted. "But it seems like I’ve found the master’s trigger, you like being watched, don’t you?"

"I didn’t ask you to come in, did I?"

After speaking, Jesse sniffed the unpleasant odor on himself and muttered, "I can’t believe I actually slept with a troll."

"I envy her," said succubus. "I wish we could have a similar experience someday."

Jesse glanced at her and said, "Forget it, I don’t want to end up like a dried-up specimen in that hole."

Molofeel couldn’t help but laugh, "I’m not that bad."

The imp shouted unhappily, "This demon is too arrogant, too full of herself, she just does whatever she wants, I can’t stand it anymore! I demand that the master strictly regulate her every move! Ah… What are you doing?!"

Molofeel caught the imp and threw it up in the air. Jesse widened his eyes and saw Saenor turn into a faint green flame in mid-air until it fell into the sea without a ripple.

"Can… can it come back?" Jesse stood up and asked.

"It’s better if it doesn’t come back, unfortunately…" Molofeel lay down, saying, "But at least I can have some peace and quiet for a while."

Jesse glanced down and saw a small barely noticeable flame shooting up the wooden planks, hopping and skipping through the crowd towards them, finally easing his mind a bit.

He picked up a purple Mojo from a transparent bottle on the ground, wondering what it was. But never mind, Ursula wanted it, and he got it for her, which was the most important thing.

The next morning, Jesse climbed the stairs to the top of Booty Bay, squinting in the sun, maybe because the air by the sea was too good.

Looking out at the sea from a high place, Jesse realized that Stormwind was also by the sea, and the air there was nice too.

No need for excuses, he had exerted himself too much yesterday afternoon.

Even with the training with Molofeel, satisfying that troll was not easy.

As he thought about it, he felt a bit uncomfortable mentally and physically, as trolls were still a bit too early for him to deal with. So he didn’t want to dwell on the details of the past.

In Miserheld’s Alchemy Room, the goblin still wearing glasses gazed into the distance.

"Do you not worry about getting skin diseases from sunbathing all day?" Jesse asked.

"Having a shiny green skin is more important than being healthy from sunbathing all the time," the goblin replied, sitting up. "Why did you take so long to come back? I thought the troll turned you into water and was about to go look for you."

"It took a long time to find the troll’s hiding place, she really knows how to hide well," Jesse said, holding three bags. "But the kind of mushrooms I mentioned, that troll does have them."

"Wow," the goblin took the three bags, opened them one by one, and his eyes widened. "My goodness, this is the first time I’ve seen such strange mushrooms on this continent that can rival the many strange mushrooms in Kalimdor. You really know a lot, human! To think you know so much!"

"To be honest, this is not a new species," Jesse said. "The Amani Troll has been living with them for many years, and even gave it a formal name, Lukoukanipi."

"Ha, do you study troll culture? But when trolls discover something good, it’s like they haven’t discovered a thing! They don’t understand the value of good things, they just mess around based on their feelings!" the goblin said confidently. "Now is the time to witness a miracle, wait until I grind them into powder and start the experiment!"

"How long will it take?" Jesse asked.

The goblin turned back and said, "If all goes well, maybe this afternoon, or maybe midnight, or maybe tomorrow. After all, I’m so skilled in the process of brewing this potion that I can do it with my eyes closed. But if things don’t go well… then it’s a problem with the ingredients."

Jesse thought to himself, the materials definitely won’t be a problem; if there’s a problem, it’s with you.

"I’ll go find a place to stay," he said. "By the way, just so you know, I spent 9 gold coins on these materials, how do you plan to repay me?"

The goblin said in surprise, "That expensive?! Are you sure the troll didn’t cheat you? The Forest Troll is full of lies, completely untrustworthy! I ended up owing her money after falling for her tricks!"

"Considering the cost of going to Hinterlands, I think it’s reasonable," said Jesse. "But if you manage to get the medicine, I can give you a discount."

"Should I thank you for that?" the goblin chuckled and said, "But if my formula works, 9 gold coins would be nothing! And when this medicine goes into production, once I discuss with the folks at the trading post, I will definitely set aside a share for you. Then you will see how silly it was to haggle with an Alchemist Master like me for a few coins."

"Hopefully it will be like that."

Though it sounded good, Jesse had no hope that these goblins could come up with a fair profit-sharing ratio.

After all, this was the goblins’ potion, the goblins’ formula, the goblins’ town, and the goblins’ trading post.

Since Gadgetzan’s wealthy Noggenfogger was willing to share the formula with this Bucks Miserheld, then Miserheld must be an important member of the Steamwheedle Cartel.

In other words, except for this human, everyone else in the entire process was working together.

So Jesse just hoped that the medicine would work soon and he could get rid of Deathmantle.

"I’m going to start testing immediately. You can rest in the study behind me, human, or take a stroll in the town, but be careful not to lose your life. I would be missing an important witness!" the goblin said before disappearing into his house.
