Chapter 6: I Want To Be The Dragon King!
The birth of Illya could only be described as an accident.
After Naya lost her memory, the Dragon King Iris brought her back to the Dragon Clan, intending to study why Naya had transformed into a dragon.
The Dragon King Iris took a personal risk and combined her own genes with Naya’s, directly producing a dragon egg.
In other words, Illya was not only a test-tube baby, but was also raised in a specialized incubator. Her birth didn’t involve a mother’s body. Instead, it fast-forwarded directly to the dragon egg stage.
Now, Illya is already five years old.
Naya walked into Illya’s room, sitting beside her and quietly gazing at her daughter’s serene, beautiful sleeping face.
Adorable pink and white dragon horns, a blend of Iris’s deep red and Naya’s silver-white hair, creating Ilya’s pink hair with some silver streaks.
Such a cute child.
Naya had been with Illya for five years. During these years, she had taken meticulous care of her, to the point that she loved Illya even more than Iris.
At first, Iris only treated both Naya and Illya as mere experimental subjects and guinea pigs.
Her gaze towards them was cold and indifferent.
It wasn’t until Illya began to speak and called her “Mother” that Iris’ attitude towards them softened.
Later, for Illya’s mental and emotional growth, Iris decided to give Naya the title of queen consort, allowing Illya to have a complete family.
Who would’ve thought…
That this decision would lead them to truly become a family, with Naya and Iris eventually falling in love after their marriage.
Naya’s lips curled into a small smile.
It seemed that playing house was much more fun than being a Hero.
Naya reached out and gently stroked Illya’s pink hair.
“Illya, it’s time to wake up.”
“Mmm…”
Hearing her mother’s voice, Illya slightly opened her eyes. Upon seeing the familiar figure beside her, she happily opened her eyes wide.
With a soft, childlike voice, she called out:
“Mommy! Good morning!”
“Good morning, Illya.”
Illya threw off the blanket and immediately pounced into Naya’s arms like a clingy little monkey, burying her face into Naya’s chest.
It was well-known that before washing one’s face in the morning, a good face wash with mother’s bosom was essential.
Today was bound to be a vibrant and energetic day!
After drawing in a breath of Naya’s “energy”, Illya lifted her head, flashing a bright, radiant smile.
Her favorite part of every morning was her mommy’s face wash time.
“Alright, Illya, back to bed for now. I’ll find some clothes for you.”
“Today, I want to wear red! Just like Mother, really, really red!”
“Okay, okay.”
Really red meant dark red.
Iris loved this color too, no surprise, considering they were mother and daughter.
Naya put Illya back on the bed and walked to the wardrobe, finding a dark red Lolita dress for her. Since she liked the dark style, Naya decided to go all the way, choosing a pair of black lace socks as well.
Returning to the bed, Illya naturally opened her arms, waiting for Naya to help her get dressed.
In the past, Naya had been used to this and hadn’t noticed anything unusual, even enjoying it.
But now that her memories had returned, she realized her role really resembled that of a maid.
Every morning, she had to help this mother and daughter get ready for the day.
She had completely turned into a housewife.
Taking care of the child during the day, cooking, and then spending intimate nights with Iris.
Yet, one thing hadn’t changed, Naya still found joy in it.
Taking care of her family was only natural.
After dressing up in her twin-tailed hairstyle, the little pink-haired dragon girl stood on the bed with her hands on her hips. Remembering the story Naya had told her last night, she proudly puffed out her chest, with her pink and white tail raised high behind her. If someone stood behind her, they could see the pink dinosaur pattern panties that the little Loli was wearing.
With great determination, the little dragon girl declared:
“I’m going to become the Dragon King and marry a human princess!”
“Huh?”
“I’ve decided, Mommy. When I grow up, I’ll fly over to the human world and captured a princess! I’ll give her freedom and happiness!”
“Illya, let’s not be silly. A story is just a story. In reality, princesses prefer humans. They’d be too scared to even look at dragons.”
Naya would support whatever future Illya wanted to pursue.
Except for this one.
She didn’t want Illya provoking the humans, let alone a human princess. It could easily turn the story of the hero and the dragon into reality.
That thought needed to be nipped in the bud.
“Why? Everyone always praised me for being cute and beautiful. How could I possibly scare the princess? The princess will definitely like me.”
“Illya, racial conflicts cannot be resolved just because you are beautiful. Sometimes, what we dragons see as beautiful can be seen as a deadly danger to humans, like a rose with thorns.”
“Mommy, I don’t understand what you’re saying.”
Naya smiled at the confused look on Illya’s face, a mix of helplessness and affection in her eyes.
She stood up and hugged Illya, preparing to take her downstairs for breakfast.
“You’ll understand when you’re older.”
Behind Illya’s back, where she couldn’t see, Naya’s expression suddenly darkened.
Had she just unconsciously put herself in the mindset of a dragon? We dragons, they humans?
She brought Illya down to the dining hall for breakfast.
The little dragon girl soon forgot the conversation entirely, focusing instead on the food.
There were cakes, bread, fruit salad and barbecue.
Dragons had much larger appetites than humans. Illya could eat a whole kilogram in one sitting.
But when dragons grow up, they can go without food for several days in a row.
Iris, for instance, didn’t eat breakfast.
She only had lunch and dinner each day.
And she only ate the food Naya prepared for her.
After all, Naya’s cooking came from a mysterious Eastern land, and it had spoiled Iris’s taste buds.
Illya, being in her growth stage, wasn’t picky and ate everything.
However, there was an oddly cute contrast in seeing such a little Loli like Illya eating and drinking voraciously at the dining table.
But under Naya’s guidance, Illya maintained basic table manners while eating and does not eat in a hurry.
After all, they had plenty of time to eat, so there was no need to rush.
For Illya, the most important thing about breakfast is to replenish energy, not whether it tastes good or not.
Naya’s Oriental-style cooking wasn’t like the typical Western-style big pot stews and fire roasts of the Dragon Clan. What she makes are small and exquisite, such as sweet and sour spare ribs, braised pork, roast duck and others. For the dragon tribe, they can only be regarded as desserts?
Yet, both Illya and Iris loved it.
“Hmmmm… I can’t wait for lunch! I really love Mommy’s cooking!”
“Don’t talk with your mouth full.”
Naya put down her teacup and gently wiped the corner of Ilya’s mouth, where a crumb of bread lingered.
Then, naturally, she popped it into her own mouth.
Even as dragons, food must not go to waste.

Awww… this is adorable. I’m really glad she’s leaning towards being a housewife. She really considers herself a dragon now.
Thanks for the chapter!
