Chapter 3: The Second Child
As the first ray of morning sunlight was blocked by the curtains, dim light seeped in, revealing the outlines of objects in the room.
Naya pressed her forehead in pain as she opened her eyes. It felt like she had just had a very long dream.
In the dream, she was defeated by the Dragon King of the Dragon Clan and turned into a dragon maiden. Afterward, she was captured and taken back to the Dragon Clan, where the Dragon King… performed some strange experiments on her.
Then, they had their first daughter together.
What kind of ridiculous dream was that?
Wrong!
The softness beside her—what on earth was that?
Naya turned her head and was faced with a suffocating sight, mere inches away. The Dragon King, Iris, a dark red dragon, currently in her humanoid form as a red-haired dragon maiden.
The dreamy days from the past weren’t just dreams. They were reality!
She herself had also turned into a silver-haired dragon maiden.
Lifting the blanket and looking inside, she saw that both of them were naked, and her own large and evil body was pressing against Iris’ adorableness.
Recalling last night, Naya’s cheeks turned bright red. She remembered awakening her system halfway through an indescribable moment, causing the pleasure between her and Iris to come to an abrupt halt.
What was all this?
How could the Dragon King possibly fall in love with her, someone who had accidentally become a member of the Dragon Clan?
[System, system, are you still there?]
She called out in her mind to the system that had shown a small sign of activity the night before.
How had she turned into a dragon in the first place? She needed the system to clear things up for her.
But the system did not answer.
Was it just her imagination?
Yeah, the system was already dead. The voice she heard last night was just the residual echo of her memory awakening. The System had long since exhausted all its energy in saving her.
Naya couldn’t help but feel a wave of sadness.
System, you died such a tragic death!
[I’m not dead!]
What? The system spoke again?
[Due to the previous system exhausting the energy of the Ancient God to save the host, it perished five years ago. I am the new system here to take over its duties.]
[Oh.]
So it wasn’t the original system.
She still felt quite grateful to the old system. If not for it, she wouldn’t have survived until now.
[Now that I’ve become like this, what should I do? Am I still a Hero?]
[Yes, you are still a hero. A hero is defined by their heart, not their body. Please continue with your main quest to eliminate the evil Dragon Queen Iris. Based on this system’s assessment, you are the closest person to her. The success rate of striking her down is around 90%. If you’re lucky, you might even eliminate her in one go.]
Are you kidding?
She had already become a member of the Dragon Clan, and the main quest couldn’t be changed?
[Please don’t forget your original resolve as a hero. The previous system didn’t save you just to watch you fall and become the Dragon Queen’s consort.]
“Mmm… Naya, you’re awake?”
“!!!”
Naya’s body instantly tensed upon hearing Iris’ voice.
The smooth softness pressed against her arm, as Iris raised a hand to gently caress Naya’s face.
“Good morning, Iris.”
“Why did you pass out last night? Are you still feeling unwell now?”
“I’m not feeling uncomfortable anymore.”
“Then, let’s continue what we started last night. It was only once and you passed out. It’s totally not enough.”
Iris could sense that Naya’s physical condition had returned to normal.
She rolled over and pinned Naya beneath her, lowering her head to kiss Naya’s soft, moist lips, but Naya hastily raised a hand to block her.
“I…I might still be a little under the weather.”
Iris gently moved Naya’s hand aside.
“Hmm? Let me check.”
Placing her hand on Naya’s forehead, Iris used her magic to carefully examine every detail of Naya’s physical condition.
She discovered that apart from a new mysterious power inside Naya, there was nothing wrong with her body.
“Are you really unwell?”
“Yeah. How about we do it some other time?”
Naya didn’t dare to reveal that she had regained her memories, so she did her best to act as she remembered behaving around Iris, trying to make her reactions seem less strange.
“Since Naya is not feeling well, I won’t force you. Let’s get up then.”
Iris sat up and turned on the crystal light by the bedside.
In an instant, Naya felt that every inch of her and Iris’ beautiful bodies were on full display to one another.
Now that her memories had returned, including those from when she was a man, Naya felt instinctively embarrassed by this scene.
But she remembered.
At the beginning, when she was first captured by Iris and brought to the Dragon Clan, her status was basically that of a maid.
Iris had looked down on her initially and wasn’t very kind, treating her like a servant.
So even after they got married, Naya still retained the habits of a maid, helping Iris get dressed every morning.
Today was no exception.
Facing Iris, unable to directly look at her exposed beauty, Naya couldn’t help but avert her gaze.
“Naya, you’re acting strange today.”
“Am I?”
Iris smiled slightly and pulled down the blanket covering Naya’s chest.
Today, Naya was particularly shy.
But such beauty—how could it be hidden away?
A dragon’s life without beholding magnificent sights was like a human’s life without Jerusalem.
“What should I wear today, Naya?” Iris reminded her to pick out clothes.
Naya finally snapped out of her daze. In a hurry, she got out of bed—still naked—and focused on getting clothes for Iris.
But as her long, slender legs and white feet touched the floor, she was once again embraced from behind.
“Have you noticed it, Naya?”
“Noticed what?”
“The dragon egg in your belly.”
Iris caressed Naya’s flat, slender abdomen, where the skin showed no signs of stretching or change.
“!!!”
“We already have a new, healthy child. This child will be born normally from you and then hatch from the dragon egg.”
This… W-what was happening?
Naya frantically searched her memories.
She had no memory of Iris forcibly implanting the dragon egg into her body.
And they were both women—how could there be a dragon egg in her?
And why was it in her body?
She was the hero of the human race. She used to be a man! She still wanted to turn back into a human!
“Are you mad that I didn’t tell you?”
Iris’ hand began to move lower.
Naya swallowed hard.
Holding her breath, she quickly broke free from Iris’ embrace and rushed to the wardrobe to find her clothes.
What was happening?
Just being touched by Iris made waves of uncontrollable affection surge through her—a conditioned response.
She picked out a short skirt that would allow for easy movement and was about to turn around to help Iris get dressed. But when she glanced down at herself, something white and sinister blocked her view of her toes.
This can’t go on!
In the end, Naya couldn’t resist and slipped on a nightgown herself first.
When she turned around back t0 Iris, holding the clothes.
Iris was sitting on the edge of the bed with her legs crossed, arms folded, looking at her with a meaningful expression.
Naya panicked and averted her gaze. Could it be… Iris had noticed she had regained her memories?

Ah… she has truly fallen. Her affection for Iris has already been ingrained.
Thanks for the chapter!

It seems that the mission of the system will fail because she has really fallen in love.
