The sudden sound from outside the forest startled the mysterious woman, causing her to lose focus. Despite her fair complexion still blushing, she casually adjusted her clothes and her expression turned serious and cold as she spoke to the person behind her.

"What’s the matter?" Her icy expression revealed a deep and profound feeling.

The forest fell silent for a moment, and Gu Yue’s voice came again, this time with a hint of awkwardness.

"This matter is very important. It would be more appropriate for Gu Yue to meet with Palace Master Jin Yi!"

There was a slight pause, as it turned out that the mysterious woman was actually the rightful Palace Master of Yutian Palace, Duanmu Xiaoman. Su Yi unknowingly offended the Palace Master. If Gu Yue knew about this, he would probably be terrified.

Duanmu Xiaoman retaliated with another burst of light energy, causing the moon to change suddenly. The forest was engulfed in a radiant glow, and the sky seemed to change color.

The tremendous collision shook the heavens and the earth, creating powerful waves that sent debris flying and made trees and rocks tumble. It was an overwhelming force, leaving one’s heart pounding.

Amongst the swirling leaves, a figure was thrown high up into the air and crashed heavily onto a large tree. Several surrounding trees cracked under the impact, producing a resounding boom.

It was Old Man Gu Yue lying on the ground, blood trickling from his mouth. He looked slightly dazed as he watched Duanmu Xiaoman.

"Congratulations, Master of the Palace. You are one step closer to the legendary realm of the divine."

As soon as he finished speaking, Old Man Gu Yue felt an unmatched force surging in his body. His internal organs and veins were tightly squeezed together, and all the blood in his chest gushed out.

With Duanmu Xiaoman’s back turned to Old Man Gu Yue, a profound and subtle aura filled the silent surroundings. The intent to kill surged like rolling waves towards the sky.
