Chapter 313: Two Divine Talismans
Sword arcs surged like rainbows, piercing through heaven and earth.
Facing the attack of ten opponents, Su Hao stood firm. The Divine Sword in his hand became a blazing rainbow.
The blue-white sword arc shattered the web of blades in an instant. Without losing momentum, it suddenly split into ten streaks midair, shooting toward Ouyang Wentian, Chen Tianyun, and others.
Ouyang Wentian paled, never imagining Su Hao’s cultivation had reached the pinnacle of the Foundation Establishment stage. Not only had Su Hao dismantled their combined assault effortlessly, but he’d also launched a lethal counterattack with a single strike.
As a peak leader himself, Ouyang Wentian was at the late Foundation Establishment stage. Though weaker than Su Hao, the gap wasn’t insurmountable. Sword light erupted from his blade, forming a shield of shadows to block the onslaught.
But he’d underestimated Su Hao’s true power. For years, Su Hao had hidden his strength, knowing full exposure would draw out not just Ouyang Wentian or Elder Shi, but the shadowy figure behind them.
Elder Shi openly defied Sect Leader Yan Changchun, altering his decrees—a feat impossible without backing. Only one person in the Heavenly Sword Sect held such influence: Elder Jin, Elder Shi’s master and equal to Elder Gong.
It was Elder Jin’s support that rendered Yan Changchun powerless.
Su Hao’s searches for disciples and training in the Ten Killing Formation had all been smokescreens to conceal his true cultivation.
But now, restraint was impossible. If he held back, his daughter Su Ling would be forced to consume the End of the Demon, leading to her death and spirit’s dissolution—an unbearable outcome.
Su Hao cherished family above all. Though hesitant before, Elder Seven’s harsh rebuke had awakened his resolve: anyone targeting Su Ling would have to kill him first.
The ten sword arcs tore through the crowd. Screams erupted as bodies flew backward, blood painting the sky like crimson fireworks.
Ouyang Wentian and Chen Tianyun staggered back ten zhang, robes shredded, blood soaking the tattered fabric. From afar, they resembled blood-drenched specters.
This was Su Hao’s true power—a single strike demonstrating overwhelming might.
“Peak Foundation Establishment?!” Elder Shi gasped. “You’ve been hiding this all along!”
“Had I revealed it sooner, your master would’ve intervened,” Su Hao replied, his sword humming as he flicked it.
Elder Shi snorted. “Even now, the final step to the Golden Pill Dao remains beyond you. Why would he bother with a failure?”
“So you admit Elder Jin’s alive,” Su Hao said. “Faking death for thirty years to steal the sect’s heritage—how vile.”
“How dare you?!” Elder Shi’s murderous intent flared. “Today, you die! Your family! Your disciples—all will perish!”
His outburst revealed utter disregard for brotherhood and the Sect Leader’s authority.
“Such confidence!” Su Hao laughed, glancing at Yan Changchun. “You’ve planned this for years.”
Yan Changchun’s weary expression flickered briefly before resuming its resignation.
The Jin Kingdom princes exchanged looks, then turned to Du Chuntian. Unfazed, Du sipped wine and gestured westward. The princes nodded.
“Sect Leader,” Su Hao called, sword aimed at Elder Shi, “will you truly surrender our sect to this traitor?”
Yan Changchun sighed. “I’ve failed the Heavenly Sword Sect. In three months, I’ll step down. Let Elder Shi appoint his puppet.”
Unsurprised, Su Hao smirked at Elder Shi. “Since the Sect Leader won’t act, we settle this here. Kill me, and all ends. If I win… don’t expect mercy.”
Elder Shi sneered. Though outmatched in cultivation, he’d never relied on strength alone.
“Die then!” Two talismans materialized above his palm—one crimson, one icy. Their aura chilled the crowd; none below the Golden Core stage could withstand such power.
“Divine Talismans! Two of them!”
Prince Hong and Prince Yun blanched. Their plan to seize the Demon Race Bloodline using royal pressure crumbled—they’d underestimated the sect’s hidden cards.
Yet seeing Du Chuntian’s calm gesture westward, they regained composure.
Elder Yin and Sun Yidao stared in awe. The legendary talismans truly existed!
Only Su Hao and Yan Changchun remained calm.
“Sect Leader,” Su Hao pressed, “will you still do nothing?”
Yan Changchun waved dismissively. “I’ll manage what concerns me. Your feud is yours alone.”
Su Hao eyed the talismans and laughed, scorn echoing through the divine hall.
“Two Divine Talismans? How… underwhelming.”
