Chapter 32: Is the Wise Person Really Me? (1)
Today, the wind is quite noisy, echoing through the mountains.
Su Youwei had initially intended to comfort her Second Elder Martial Sister, who wore a sorrowful expression. But after stopping Xiao Jinse and speaking sternly to her, something unexpected happened—Su Youwei found herself in the same emotional state as Xiao Jinse.
How did this happen?!
She was stunned, unable to grasp the passage of time.
“It’s fake, right?” Su Youwei murmured to herself, hoping this was just a terrible dream.
To test her theory, she reached out and pinched Xiao Jinse’s cheek. The Second Elder Martial Sister didn’t react, showing no signs of pain.
Sure enough, this had to be a dream!
With her heart racing, Su Youwei tried to calm herself. Under normal circumstances, her Second Elder Martial Sister would definitely react differently…
As Su Youwei pondered, a fist-sized bun suddenly whizzed past her.
“I will fight with you!”
It was a deliberate punch! Unprepared, Su Youwei was knocked off balance and sent flying.
“It hurts…” She knelt on the ground, her bottom sticking high in the air, her hands covering her eyes as she whimpered.
At this moment, Xiao Jinse resembled a powder keg—ready to explode. Though An Lan’s previous measures had extinguished the flames, Su Youwei’s actions rekindled the fire that had once died down.
Majestic!
“You did it first!” Xiao Jinse thought to herself.
“I won’t let you off easily. I won’t be the Elder Martial Sister of Qiongming Peak if I don’t ride you and make you cry!”
Just as Xiao Jinse unsheathed her sword, preparing to strike, Su Hong Yi, who had been hiding in the Ten Thousand Poison Pearl, emerged.
“Stop!”
White-haired Hong Yi shouted, her arm swirling with black and red Qi like a ribbon. The dark sky grew even more ominous and foreboding, the killing intent sharp like arrows, yet they were retracted before piercing Xiao Jinse’s body.
Su Hong Yi took a deep breath, her chest rising and falling slightly, not showing any sign of panic.
She and Su Youwei were supposed to be allies. It would be ridiculous if they started fighting now.
Su Hong Yi’s intervention acted as a grease to the gears of the situation, and after a while, neither Xiao Jinse nor Su Youwei had reached a consensus.
The evening breeze blew gently, but the fire inside Xiao Jinse died down again.
However, Su Youwei couldn’t remain calm. Unlike Xiao Jinse, who had only just turned eighteen and started cultivating two years ago, Su Youwei had been in the cultivation world for nearly thirteen years across two lives.
Though she was still considered a “newcomer” in the cultivation world, she knew far more than Xiao Jinse.
In the cultivation world, the most important thing is to “fight”—to battle against Heaven and Earth, to compete with others.
The East Divine Land is relatively peaceful overall, but the Immortal World is far from as glamorous as the legends suggest. Immortals are simply humans with greater strength. But when their lives draw to an end, what do they do?
Do they wait for their fates patiently?
Or do they do anything to grasp treasures?
In the East Divine Land, the four major sects are enough to suppress most evil people. However, in the Immortal World, there are three thousand great domains, plus the Dark Desolation beyond. The area is vast, almost impossibly so, and seeking peace seems like a dream. If you commit evil and run fast enough, even a Demigod may not catch you.
“Ah ↑ ah ↑ ah ↑”

Su Youwei, who had been lost in thought, suddenly felt a surge of energy rise within her. Her fiery spirit, once suppressed, was ready to burst out at any moment.
No!
She wouldn’t give in!
After pacing anxiously for a few seconds, she drew her sword and dashed toward the peak of Qiongming Peak.
“I won’t cultivate this sword anymore!”
“Hey!” Su Hong Yi shouted, but Su Youwei didn’t seem to hear. She just rushed forward, and Su Hong Yi had no choice but to follow after her.
“Alas.”
Meanwhile, Xiao Jinse stood watching the rolling clouds, sighing deeply.
Alas.
Her fate was indeed cruel!
It had been her who first joined the Duxian sect and embraced Elder Martial Sister Bai Lian, yet in the end, she was unceremoniously expelled.
“We are both outcasts in this world…”
Xiao Jinse recited a poem softly.
She turned, hoping for comfort from her third Martial Sister, only to find that she had vanished.
“Damn it!”
Xiao Jinse suddenly realized the truth. The third Martial Sister must have gone to look for the fourth Martial Sister!
Her mood darkened. The two would surely fight.
No! Xiao Jinse immediately chased after Su Youwei.
With her current cultivation base, climbing the mountain was still relatively easy for her.
When she reached the summit of Qiongming Peak, Xiao Jinse was relieved to see that Su Youwei hadn’t yet entered the fourth Martial Sister’s room.
The distant clouds loomed like a massive wall. Several glowing white stones stood on wooden pillars in the courtyard.
Su Youwei and Su Hong Yi were at the entrance of Yu Ying’s room, locked in an entangled struggle—pushing and shoving without yielding to one another.
Of course, if this were a matter of life and death, Su Youwei wouldn’t stand a chance against Su Hong Yi now.
“Not too late,” Xiao Jinse murmured with a sigh.
