Chapter 8: No Title
After I firmly rejected her, Ruo Xiaoxuan dejectedly lay down on the sofa, as if she had lost all hope.

“Xiaoxuan, stop lying there. It’s time for class. I need to head back before evening.”

“Without Sister Xiao Li staying with me, I’ve lost all hope in life. I’m just like a salted fish now, hey, I’m a salted fish…”

Despondent, Ruo Xiaoxuan buried her head into the soft sofa, leaving me with only a view of her back.

Ruo Xiaoxuan’s house was spacious with many rooms, one of which was a large, beautifully decorated study dedicated to her schoolwork.

The study was filled with books, all neatly categorized according to the subjects she needed to study in high school. The household staff clearly kept the room immaculate, creating a strong academic atmosphere.

We started the lesson in that study.

After sitting down, Ruo Xiaoxuan handed me all the test papers she had worked on over the past week. As I was tutoring her in all subjects, I carefully went through each paper, explaining the mistakes thoroughly, not wanting to betray the trust her parents had placed in me.

Ruo Xiaoxuan was quite smart, and combined with my efficient and clear explanations, she quickly grasped the concepts.

High school studies mainly revolve around logic. As long as one has a good grasp of logical thinking and focuses on improving in that area, there’s a lot of room for growth.

After two hours of teaching, we finally managed to clear up all her mistakes.

My teaching method, which emphasizes logic, was highly effective. It’s no wonder that even when I was still a guy, Ruo Xiaoxuan’s parents chose me out of many tutors, despite the gender difference.

“Phew, finally done.” Ruo Xiaoxuan stretched, and the view of her chest became even more prominent under her loose shirt, with her fair skin faintly visible.

In all my previous tutoring visits, Ruo Xiaoxuan had always dressed formally, covering herself up quite conservatively.

But today, since I had become a girl, she seemed much more casual, completely unaware of how tempting she looked, like a little seductress.

I averted my gaze, forcing myself to remain composed. It was time to leave.

“Xiaoxuan, since we’ve finished everything and it’s getting late, I should head home now.”

“This is a lawful society, it’s not as dangerous as you think. Don’t worry.”

“But… can’t you stay with me a little longer?”

Seeing that all her efforts to keep me had failed, Ruo Xiaoxuan rushed over, tugging on my clothes, pouting as she pleaded.

“Please? Pretty please? I’m begging you.”

Now that I had seen her true nature, I knew that if I gave in to her whining once, it would happen again and again. If I agreed, I’d never leave tonight.

There was no other choice. If I didn’t give in, I really wouldn’t make it out of her house tonight.

“No, no. It’s just my roommates. We’re going to watch a movie.”

It would be too complicated to explain about Le Ya, so I decided to tell a little white lie instead—just say I was going with my dormmates.

“Really? Alright then, but Sister Xiao Li, you have to keep your word. You’ll stay with me next week, okay?”

Her eyes still had a hint of doubt, but once she heard my promise, she reluctantly let go.

With time running out, I packed up my things and got ready to leave.
