Chapter 889 Liberation of the Black King

Under the terrifying pressure, Chen Yangrong couldn’t help but swallow.

“What kind of monster is this?”

Chen Yangrong let out a low growl, his eyes turning bloodshot. He once again inserted his hands into the stomach wall behind him, and the already mangled flesh around him began to twist painfully again.

But Lin Qiye would not give him another chance.

Godzilla’s massive body crashed into the stomach wall like a mountain, its sharp and powerful claws suddenly piercing the stomach wall, forcefully tearing off a large chunk of flesh, turning all those flesh balls that were about to burst into tentacles into a bloody mist.

The brilliant magic array light burst forth again. In the sea of blood, Godzilla’s form vanished, and Lin Qiye, restored to his original form, carried Jialan on his back and held [Zhan Bai], flashing through the water like lightning, his golden eyes burning fiercely!

A flash of snow-white blade light, ignoring space itself, fell lightly on Chen Yangrong’s neck.

…

Fishing village.

Under the red moon.

In front of the charred houses, Shen Qingzhu saw An Qingyu walking towards him with a coffin on his back, his eyes brightening at first.

But when he saw with his own eyes An Qingyu picking up that blood-stained cleaver from the ground, his hand holding the cigarette suddenly trembled, and his brows furrowed tightly.

After hesitating for a moment, he still stood up from the steps and walked in front of An Qingyu.

“Brother Zhuai.” An Qingyu shifted his gaze from Cao Yuan and Baili Pangpang who were tied up in the distance, looking at Shen Qingzhu in front of him, “Are you okay?”

“I’m fine.”

Shen Qingzhu held his cigarette, staring at An Qingyu’s bloodshot eyes, “But… you don’t seem to be doing well.”

An Qingyu seemed to realize something, rubbed his eyes with both hands, and explained, “I’m actually fine too, these eyes… are because I just saw something I shouldn’t have seen.”

When he forcibly analyzed the pollution that had infected Chen Gou earlier, An Qingyu’s eyes were also damaged, and the red blood vessels in his eyes had not yet faded, making them appear completely red.

Shen Qingzhu nodded, his gaze falling on the blood-stained cleaver in An Qingyu’s hand.

“So, what are you planning to do?”

An Qingyu fell silent.

After a while, he still raised his hand, pointing the blade in his hand at Cao Yuan who was tied up in the distance, and calmly said, “Kill him.”

Shen Qingzhu’s eyes contracted slightly.

“You’re not thinking clearly,” Shen Qingzhu said decisively.

“I am very clear.”

“Do you want to think again about what you just said?”

“I said, I am very clear.” An Qingyu repeated, looking into Shen Qingzhu’s eyes, speaking with utmost seriousness, “I must kill Cao Yuan, otherwise, the time laws here will erase all of us.”

“I won’t let you kill him.”

“Cao Yuan has the Black King inside him, even if I kill him, he won’t die… I know this sounds absurd, but I don’t have time to explain it to you now.” An Qingyu’s peripheral vision swept across the nearly full red moon in the sky, he looked at Shen Qingzhu and said seriously,

“Brother Zhuai, you must trust me!”

Shen Qingzhu frowned as he looked at An Qingyu, falling into silence.

Seeing that Shen Qingzhu still showed no signs of yielding, An Qingyu grew anxious, and a hint of redness seeped into those eyes… but soon, he suppressed this irritability again.

He took a deep breath and spoke again:

“Brother Zhuai, who am I?”

Shen Qingzhu was stunned.

“I am An Qingyu… the vice captain of [Night Curtain] team, An Qingyu.” An Qingyu looked into his eyes, “I can go mad, I can kill everyone in this world, but I would never harm my own brothers… do you understand?”

Shen Qingzhu didn’t answer, white smoke rose from his cigarette, his eyes shrouded in smoke as he stared at An Qingyu, slightly flickering.

After a long while, as if he had made some decision, he let out a long breath of smoke,

“What do you need me to do?”

Hearing these words, An Qingyu’s heart finally settled down. He put down the coffin on his back and said, “Take Pangpang and Jiang Er, get as far away from here as possible, wait at the edge of the village, and no matter what happens later, don’t look back.

If there’s a gap in the time loop, don’t hesitate, just rush out.”

Shen Qingzhu didn’t ask more questions, just silently picked up the coffin and dragged the bound Baili Pangpang behind him. A cushion of compressed air formed under Pangpang, hovering above the ground as they quickly headed towards the edge of the village.

After walking a few steps, he still couldn’t help but stop and turn back to ask:

“What about you? What will you do?”

“Don’t worry about me, I’ll come find you after you get out.” An Qingyu smiled slightly.

“…Alright.”

This time, Shen Qingzhu didn’t look back again, quickly leaving with the two people.

Burning embers mixed with dust rose slowly under the red moon. In the empty, charred street, An Qingyu held the cleaver and slowly walked towards Cao Yuan who was tied up on the ground.

An Qingyu walked up to him, slowly crouched down, his pale glasses reflecting the crimson moonlight. Behind the glasses, those reddened eyes quietly looked at the frantically howling Cao Yuan.

“Cao Yuan… I’m sorry.” He muttered to himself.

He took a deep breath, raised the cleaver in his hand, and placed the blade against Cao Yuan’s chest…

Suddenly thrust in!

The blade cut through flesh and pierced into Cao Yuan’s beating heart. The howling Cao Yuan’s voice stopped abruptly, frozen in place like a sculpture.

A strand of pitch-black flame emerged from his shattered heart.

BOOM—-!!!!

In an instant, endless murderous qi flames surged out like a rushing river from Cao Yuan’s body, forming a black pillar of fire hundreds of meters in radius, shooting into the sky!

An Qingyu’s body dissolved into the black pillar of fire in the blink of an eye, followed by the charred streets around and the scattered houses… The rolling murderous qi flames swept across the fishing village at an alarming speed, and in an instant, the entire village turned into an ocean of black fire.

An extremely terrifying and violent aura suddenly descended!

Shen Qingzhu, who had barely escaped the range of the murderous qi fire sea, felt his heart tremble. An unprecedented sense of palpitation surged in his heart, fine cold sweat continuously seeped out, and his entire body’s joints made crackling sounds, as if some invisible pressure from the sky was pressing down on his body, making his steps immediately become heavy.

He suddenly looked back.

The crimson moonlight fell from above but was completely devoured by the black sea of murderous qi fire. From the deepest part of those roaring flames, a black giant shadow slowly stood up from the ruins.

It was a giant made entirely of black flames, with circular holes nearly ten meters in radius in its arms, shoulders, knees, and chest. Through these holes, the bloody sky behind could be clearly seen…

Seven pitch-black chains extended from the void, firmly locked in the holes, like a prison of fate, imprisoning its body.
