Chapter 663: Breakthrough of the Beauty

Boom—!!

A deafening roar echoed from afar, as a black blade sliced through the sky, followed by thick smoke rising from the distant street.

“Hmm?”

Lin Qiye turned his head, his brow slightly furrowed. “That is…”

“It seems to be that black blade,” Shen Qingzhu pondered aloud. “However, it looks like the projection of this blade is larger and more solid.”

“It’s Yuzhi Heizhe,” Lin Qiye stated with certainty.

Now that Hanchuan Si was dead, if his and Yu Gongqinghui’s reasoning was correct, the [Black Rope] should have ultimately fallen into Yuzhi Heizhe’s hands. His “royal blood” possessed the power to forcibly activate any of the Huo Jin blades. Apart from him, no one else in this city could achieve that.

“Is he an enemy or a friend?”

“Hard to say.”

For Lin Qiye, the information he had was all derived from his own deductions based on clues. He could only guess at Yuzhi Heizhe’s true intentions in setting this trap, not knowing his real identity or what kind of person he truly was.

“Let’s deal with the enemy in front of us first.”

Lin Qiye’s gaze fell upon the street.

At this moment, the street had completely turned into a sea of flames, with scorching hot fire erupting from the cracks in the ground. The air was filled with floating fire lines, and centered around the red-robed oracle, the area within a three-kilometer radius resembled a fiery hell, where no living creature could approach.

The pavement was melting, buildings were collapsing, and even the light was distorted amidst the tongues of fire. This was no longer just a fire issue; the high temperature contained within could rival that of an erupting volcano!

And the red-robed oracle, devoid of a soul, was like a moving volcanic source.

Currently, Lin Qiye and Shen Qingzhu were at least five kilometers away from him, standing atop a tall building, looking down at the sea of flames with grave expressions.

In such temperatures, whether it was firearms, missiles, or other weapons, none could penetrate the sea of fire to approach the red-robed oracle. Even ancient tree spirits would be scorched upon getting too close. All of Lin Qiye’s existing methods had essentially lost their effectiveness.

“But the temperature around him is too high; we can’t get close at all,” Shen Qingzhu frowned and said. “Even if I use [Qi Min], I can only extinguish the flames around him. The temperature surrounding his body is at least five hundred degrees, far beyond what a human can approach…

Moreover, under that mysterious gaze, my [Qi Min] can’t sustain for long.”

Lin Qiye pondered seriously for a long time, as if he had thought of something, his eyes brightening.

“Give me some time.”

Lin Qiye crouched down and took out a piece of chalk from his pocket, quickly drawing on the ground.

This wasn’t Shen Qingzhu’s first time seeing Lin Qiye draw a magic circle, so she instinctively stepped back a few paces. About a minute later, Lin Qiye stood up from the ground, carefully confirming that the summoning array was correct, and placed his palm on the center of the array, channeling his mental energy into it.

At the top of the building, a dazzling magical light erupted!

When the light faded, a massive fire-red earth dragon appeared before the two of them. Its giant claws dug into the building’s window, its size roughly twice that of the rooftop area, and it raised its dragon head high, roaring at the sky!

Flame Pulse Earth Dragon, Hong Yan.

This time, Lin Qiye did not summon a humanoid form but allowed her to appear in her true form.

After roaring, those orange-yellow vertical pupils fell upon Lin Qiye, and she respectfully lowered her body, bringing her head down to Lin Qiye’s level.

Under the watchful gaze of the mysterious presence, Lin Qiye smiled slightly and said:

“Hong Yan, can you handle the fire source over there?”

The Flame Pulse Earth Dragon turned her head to look at the distant area of intense heat, nodding slightly.

Being a Flame Pulse Earth Dragon, this level of high temperature was nothing to her. Coupled with her exceptionally high affinity for flames, she could move freely in that fiery area, and those flames could even be considered a fine supplement for her.

“Go, but be careful.”

Upon hearing this, the Flame Pulse Earth Dragon suddenly flapped her wings, stirring up a gust of wind, and her massive body soared toward the direction of the red-robed oracle!

She opened her giant mouth, and the floating fire lines in the air were automatically drawn into her mouth. The fire-red patterns on her dragon scales lit up in succession, intertwining into a complex and obscure design.

The intrusion of the Flame Pulse Earth Dragon alerted the red-robed oracle to the danger.

He stiffly raised his head, his right eye hollow, while the red circle in his left eye locked onto the earth dragon soaring above the flames, which was crazily absorbing the fire. An electronic voice then sounded:

“Unknown biological attack detected, initiating counterattack…”

Boom—!!

Around the red-robed oracle, waves of fire surged forth, transforming into thick pillars of flame shooting toward the sky at the Flame Pulse Earth Dragon. The latter, upon seeing these flames, was not alarmed but rather delighted, opening her giant mouth to swallow them all!

The fire-red patterns on her body brightened even more.

If the red-robed oracle had self-awareness, witnessing this scene would have made him hesitate to use flames to attack the earth dragon, as those flames posed no threat to her in his eyes and seemed to benefit her greatly.

Unfortunately, the entity controlling his body was merely an artificial intelligence, lacking such cognitive abilities, and could only follow its programmed instructions to continuously increase the power of the flames it spewed.

The surging flames continuously poured into the sky, all consumed by Hong Yan, whose eyes were filled with excitement.

This red-robed oracle was simply a moving feeding machine!

As time passed, the fire-red patterns on the Flame Pulse Earth Dragon reached their peak brightness, her momentum soaring. The boundary that had restricted her for so long began to loosen under this massive influx of flames!

Bang—!

With a soft sound, Hong Yan’s aura erupted, stepping from the pinnacle of the “Sea” realm into “Wuliang.”

At the same time, the fire-red patterns on her body dimmed, transforming into a mysterious dark red. In the night, they appeared less conspicuous, but upon closer inspection, one could see wisps of nearly black flames flowing slowly within those dark red patterns!

Stepping into “Wuliang” meant that the Flame Pulse Earth Dragon had fully matured, breaking the genetic shackles hidden deep within her lineage, and a flood of information surged into her mind!

She raised her head high, opened her giant mouth, and roared at the sky. A massive pillar of black flame erupted from her body, instantly piercing through the clouds!

Roar, roar, roar—!!

This dragon’s roar echoed throughout the sky of Osaka.

“What happened to her?” Shen Qingzhu asked in confusion.

Lin Qiye smiled slightly, “She… has grown up.”
