Chapter 633: The Crouching Dragon and the Young Phoenix

Lin Qiye was suddenly excited upon seeing the two guests, feeling a bit confused.

However, he still fulfilled his duty as a “waiter,” leading the two to their seats. As soon as they sat down, they pulled out their phones and began taking selfies with Lin Qiye.

Lin Qiye frowned again.

“Sorry, but photography is not allowed in the store,” he said politely.

Miss Chang Tian pouted, “It’s just a few photos, what’s the big deal?”

Lin Qiye’s gaze sharpened, and he spoke in a tone that brooked no refusal, “I’ll say it again, no photography is allowed here.”

“…Okay, okay! I’ll delete them all right now!” Miss Chang Tian’s heart raced.

The two guests deleted all the photos in front of Lin Qiye, and only then did his expression soften.

He opened the drink menu and asked, “So, what would you like to drink?”

“Is it Qianyu?” her friend weakly asked from the side. “If we order drinks, do you get a cut? Can you drink with us?”

“Sure, that’s part of my job,” Lin Qiye nodded.

“I want this, this! This one too! And this!”

Her friend immediately became excited, ordering several expensive drinks in succession and pulling out a card from her wallet to hand to Uncle Jingjie.

Lin Qiye’s mouth twitched slightly.

The total cost of all these drinks was already quite a fortune for him… probably equivalent to borrowing money from Yu Gongqing over twenty times?

Is this the joy of being a rich woman?

Uncle Jingjie beamed as he served the drinks, thoughtfully helping them open the bottles. Lin Qiye took the bottles, filled the glasses for the two guests, and poured himself a full glass as well.

“Qianyu, since it’s our first meeting, let’s have a drink together!”

“Qianyu, since we’re two girls, shouldn’t you drink a bit more? How about we drink one glass and you drink three?”

“Wow! You can really drink! So handsome!!”

“…”

Miss Chang Tian and her friend began to pour drinks for Lin Qiye, while he remained calm, drinking as if it were plain water, downing glass after glass without changing expression.

He consumed nearly four-fifths of the expensive drinks by himself, while Miss Chang Tian and her friend together managed only one-fifth. At this point, they were already feeling a bit tipsy.

With Lin Qiye’s current level and physique, even if he drank all the drinks in the store by himself, he wouldn’t feel the slightest bit drunk. The two guests thought they were getting a good deal, but what they didn’t realize was that the only ones being taken advantage of were their wallets.

Under Lin Qiye’s relentless drinking strategy, the drinks were quickly finished, and to continue drinking with him, they would have to order more.

So, her friend waved her hand and called for several more bottles to continue drinking with Lin Qiye.

“Qianyu, let me tell you, I’ve been feeling really down lately…”

“I had a boyfriend before, and we were really close, but then he cheated on me with a woman eight years older than him. The worst part is, that woman has a husband and a family…”

“Later, I found out about them, and I broke up with him, but I feel so sad inside.”

“Recently, I keep dreaming that he comes back to me, wanting to get back together, and I keep arguing with him in my dreams…”

“I know I still love him…”

“But I can’t forgive what he did to me! Every time I think of him, I feel tight in my chest and anxious. I remember how happy we were together and how sad I was when we broke up…”

“I feel like my heart has been shattered. I can’t get excited about anything lately, until I met you…”

While drinking, Miss Chang Tian poured out her recent troubles to Lin Qiye, her eyes slightly red.

Lin Qiye held his glass, listening seriously. After a moment of silence, he spoke:

“Miss Chang Tian, right?”

“Just call me Sister Chang Tian.”

“Well… here’s the thing.” He looked into Miss Chang Tian’s eyes, speaking seriously, “Based on the symptoms you’ve described, have you considered that you might be suffering from some kind of mental illness?”

Miss Chang Tian: …???

For the next two hours, Lin Qiye analyzed Miss Chang Tian’s symptoms from a professional perspective and offered some candid and effective solutions.

By the time Miss Chang Tian finished her drink and groggily stood up to leave, her mind was filled with thoughts like “Do I really have a problem?” and “What he said seems quite reasonable!”

“Are you two planning to leave?” Uncle Jingjie smiled as he approached Miss Chang Tian. “Did you enjoy your time here today?”

“Yes… it was enjoyable, I really liked it! I will definitely come back next time!” Miss Chang Tian, slightly tipsy, turned around and waved at Lin Qiye, “Goodbye, Doctor Qianyu!”

“Goodbye,” Lin Qiye smiled.

Uncle Jingjie: ???

What on earth is Doctor Qianyu?!!

A new play?

After sending off the two guests in confusion, Yu Gongqing’s side was also wrapping up.

He saw Yu Gongqing sitting in front of a female guest, who was pulling at his sleeve, crying like a rain-soaked pear blossom, as if scolding him for some injustice.

Lin Qiye could hear Yu Gongqing calmly saying:

“Oh? Is that so? You really are unfortunate.”

“…”

“This is society’s fault, not yours.”

“…”

“It’s okay, one day, I will help you solve this dirty society.”

“…”

After sending off that guest, the store became completely quiet. It was already late at night, and no other customers came in. Uncle Jingjie sat alone by the window, counting tonight’s earnings while chuckling to himself.

Yu Gongqing stood up from his seat and walked over to Lin Qiye, “What do you think?”

“What?”

“This job.”

“I think it’s quite easy.”

“…Really?” Yu Gongqing frowned slightly, “I find it quite difficult…”

Lin Qiye thought for a moment, “Maybe you haven’t grasped the essentials. I’ll teach you later.”

“Okay.”

Lin Qiye confirmed with Uncle Jingjie that they were closing for the night, officially finishing work, and left the Black Wutong Club with Yu Gongqing, heading towards a secluded corner.

He didn’t bring Yuzuna Rina along because the matters they were about to discuss might not be suitable for her to hear.

A few minutes later, the two arrived at the rooftop of a low building, sitting at the edge and looking at the distant streets still glowing with neon lights. Lin Qiye slowly spoke:

“Now, can we talk?”
