Chapter 629: The Wise Group Leader

It turns out that Shen Qingzhu really has no talent for studying.

Even after staying here for a year, he still couldn’t understand their words. In fact, apart from the names of the two subordinates he had sworn brotherhood with, the only phrases he could say were three:

“Eight of them!” (Bastards!)

“Kulus!” (Kill!)

“Yoshi!” (Good!)

He could only manage these three phrases; the rest depended on improvisation.

Just like now.

Asakura Ken was kneeling there, having already clarified the situation. The others also turned their gazes toward Shen Qingzhu, the leader of the Black Kill Group, waiting for him to make a decision.

“Leader, the Hanchuan family has extended their reach into Kansai, clearly looking down on our Black Kill Group. We must teach them a lesson and make them return to Kanto!” Asakura Ken’s eyes glinted with killing intent as he looked seriously at Shen Qingzhu.

Shen Qingzhu raised an eyebrow, shifting his gaze away from him to the other men and women kneeling in the hall, their faces filled with anger.

At this moment, although Shen Qingzhu didn’t know what had happened, he could already guess that someone had provoked the collective wrath.

Well, that makes things easier.

Shen Qingzhu leisurely pinched a cigarette between his fingers, a glimmer of killing intent appearing in his indifferent eyes.

“Kulus.” He spoke softly. (Kill)

Upon hearing this, Asakura Ken and the others kneeling around him simultaneously showed expressions of joy and shouted loudly:

“Leader is wise!”

Seeing their reaction, Shen Qingzhu let out a slight sigh of relief… he had guessed right again.

Just then, Asakura Ken hesitated for a moment before speaking again:

“Leader, there’s one more issue. The young master of the Hanchuan family has also come to Osaka, and he possesses a Wazutsuki sword. We are simply no match for him… Could you bring more people and personally come to help us secure Osaka?

Relying solely on us, it will be difficult to drive them out!”

Hearing this, the others around frowned and began to whisper among themselves, seemingly discussing something.

Shen Qingzhu was puzzled.

I already said “Kulus,” so why is there still an issue?

Moreover, judging by everyone’s reactions, it seemed like this was a tough situation to handle…

With just those three phrases, it seemed I couldn’t bluff my way through.

After pondering for a moment, Shen Qingzhu pretended to think and nodded, then looked at his trusted aide beside him and called out his name softly:

“Inamori Yu.”

In complex situations like this, Shen Qingzhu’s usual solution was not to solve it himself.

By calling his aide’s name, he wanted him to advise and come up with ideas. Although the suggestions might not be reliable, at least his identity wouldn’t be exposed. This aide was one of the two people he had saved from the streets a year ago, a true ally.

Inamori Yu was taken aback, thinking it was just another test from Shen Qingzhu. After serious contemplation, he said:

“I believe that Hanchuan Shi personally coming to Osaka is not just about fighting for territory. Coupled with the news of other gangs in Osaka being wiped out, I feel… they must be looking for something?”

Shen Qingzhu didn’t understand, but he still nodded, a look of approval appearing in his eyes, as if encouraging him to continue.

“Something that could prompt Hanchuan Shi to take action must be very important. If that’s the case, the manpower we have left in Osaka may indeed be insufficient… We first need to figure out what they are looking for, and then seize it before they do!” The more Inamori Yu spoke, the more he felt his reasoning was correct.

He turned back and said seriously to Shen Qingzhu:

“Leader, I think we need to personally go to Osaka. If we don’t intervene, relying solely on Asakura Ken will indeed be insufficient. If things go wrong, this matter could shake the Black Kill Group’s position in Kansai!”

Shen Qingzhu pretended to think for a moment and then nodded.

“The leader has agreed.” Inamori Yu turned to the others, “Kota, go prepare. Besides those important departments, bring everyone you can. We will set off for Osaka immediately!”

“Yes!”

Asakura Ken looked at Shen Qingzhu, who was sitting there, with a look of admiration in his eyes.

The leader… truly is wise!

…

The next morning.

Lin Qiye woke up early, changed into a red shirt and sequined suit nearby, tidied up his outfit, and walked out of his room.

Above the black phoenix tree’s storefront was where they, the employees, lived. Although it was a bit shabby, the place was relatively spacious. Lin Qiye’s spiritual energy swept around, and apart from Xiao Jin still sleeping in his room, Yuzuna and the uncle were already gone.

As he walked down the stairs, he found Yuzuna had rolled up her sleeves, seriously mopping the floor in the dining area on the second floor, while the uncle was making himself a cup of coffee, sitting by the large floor-to-ceiling window, leisurely enjoying breakfast while looking at the bustling street outside.

“Why are you mopping the floor?” Lin Qiye asked in confusion.

“I asked Uncle Kyosuke, and he agreed to let me work here temporarily, and he pays me every day.” Yuzuna wiped the sweat from her small face and smiled at Lin Qiye, “Although I earn less than you, I can help relieve some of your pressure!”

Kyosuke is the uncle’s nickname; he is also the owner of this host club and was said to be a famous host in Shinjuku during his youth.

Lin Qiye was taken aback for a moment, then patted her head and said, “I can manage on my own; you can take a break for a while.”

Yuzuna shook her head, “No, if I do nothing, wouldn’t I just be a burden?”

She pushed Lin Qiye back into his seat, picked up the mop, and said earnestly, “You just rest for now, I’ll handle the work here!”

Lin Qiye helplessly sat across from Uncle Kyosuke, who was smiling at him while holding his coffee.

“It seems you two siblings have a good relationship?”

“Yeah.” Lin Qiye glanced around and asked, “Isn’t it time to open the doors yet?”

“Open the doors?” Uncle Kyosuke raised an eyebrow, “What host club opens in the morning? Only at night do those lonely… oh no, those troubled women go out to seek comfort.

During the day, even if we opened, there wouldn’t be any customers.”

No wonder Xiao Jin was still sleeping.

Lin Qiye nodded, just about to say something when a clear doorbell rang from downstairs.

Uncle Kyosuke’s expression stiffened, looking strange as he stood up and muttered softly:

“How strange, someone actually came this early?”

Seeing the boss had stood up, Lin Qiye, with good professional etiquette, followed suit, tidied his outfit, and walked with him to the first floor.

His spiritual energy swept outside the door, and the next moment, he froze in place.
