Chapter 1563 Lucifer Makes His Move
Seeing this fallen angel descending before him, An Qingyu’s expression suddenly changed.
He had never seen Lucifer before, but the six black wings behind him already symbolized his identity. Most importantly, the flesh wings beneath those six black wings actually emitted the aura of the Cthulhu Mythos!
Had Lucifer also joined the Cthulhu faction?
Lucifer was already a supreme-level powerhouse. His arrival was undoubtedly a hopeless disaster for An Qingyu and Jiang Er, and with over a thousand Mi-Go surging behind him, they had nowhere to escape.
“Not the [Key to the Gate], just something emitting the aura of the Gate of Truth…” Lucifer examined An Qingyu carefully for a long time before noticing the difference. “However, bringing you back should make [The Black Goat] very happy, right?”
Lucifer reached out with a sinister smile, grabbing toward An Qingyu who was suspended in mid-air. At that moment, countless Mi-Go whistled past him, flying straight toward Lucifer’s hand!
The tentacles on their flesh nodules twisted frantically, as if transmitting some kind of information among the Mi-Go. The buzzing of their wings filled the sky as these thousand Mi-Go, like a pink tidal wave, completely engulfed Lucifer.
Just as recorded in the [Utopia] scrolls, the Mi-Go race did not worship any Cthulhu deity. The only thing they believed in was the [Key to the Gate].
They didn’t care about messengers of [The Black Goat] or allies of Cthulhu gods. Whoever tried to take the [Key to the Gate] away from them, they would kill!
“A bunch of ants, truly seeking death?!” Lucifer casually killed a Mi-Go with a slap. Seeing the endless pink tide surrounding him, his eyes flashed with murderous intent.
As his gray wings gently flapped, the surrounding air rapidly distorted, transforming into nine void demons with ferocious giant mouths that seemed ready to devour the sky. A terrifying attractive force pulled in large numbers of Mi-Go, forcibly dragging them into the abyssal maws.
The nine demons chewed the air, instantly crushing hundreds of Mi-Go into bloody mist that disappeared without a trace. The remaining Mi-Go showed no fear, still charging toward Lucifer with reckless courage.
The Mi-Go were only “Klein”-level Cthulhu creatures. Facing Lucifer at the “Supreme” divine level, no matter how many they were, they were no match for Him.
But this brief delay gave An Qingyu and Jiang Er a moment to catch their breath.
Jiang Er powered the black coffin with all her might, carrying An Qingyu as they flew away. The last dozen Mi-Go changed direction to follow closely behind them. As long as they could bring An Qingyu back, they didn’t care how many casualties they suffered – becoming nutrition for the Gate of Truth would be their honor.
“They’re too fast… this won’t work,” An Qingyu coughed lightly as space-time distortions swirled around him.
As more Mi-Go died, An Qingyu could feel his connection to the Gate of Truth growing stronger. Even without doing anything, the space-time disturbances he caused were already half a person’s height.
Jiang Er looked back and saw three Mi-Go about to touch the edge of the black coffin. She gritted her teeth and flew out in her ghost form!
“Be careful!” An Qingyu immediately shouted when he saw this.
Jiang Er’s ghostly body crashed into the first Mi-Go, controlling its body and using its limbs to instantly bind the head of another Mi-Go. With wings vibrating, the two spun like tops, briefly falling from the sky.
But at the same time, the third Mi-Go had already flown right in front of An Qingyu!
Due to his damaged soul, An Qingyu couldn’t move his legs. Sitting on the coffin at such close range, he had almost no means to resist.
Bang—!
The coffin board beneath An Qingyu suddenly ejected, flipping him into the air. This unexpected event allowed him to narrowly escape the third Mi-Go’s capture.
The next moment, the coffin containing Jiang Er’s body swung like a hammer in the air, precisely smashing down on the Mi-Go’s head with a dull thud!
In just seconds, Jiang Er had repelled three Mi-Go. The coffin board shot down like a meteor, steadily catching An Qingyu’s body and reconnecting with the coffin that flew in afterward.
“How are you? Not hurt?” Ghost Jiang Er floated in front of An Qingyu, asking with concern.
An Qingyu was stunned for a moment before laughing: “Using your own coffin as a weapon – that’s a first for me… When did you learn that?”
“I’ve been thinking about it since I reached the ‘Klein’ level. I can’t always be a burden.” Jiang Er stuck out her tongue. “See, I’m pretty amazing, right?!”
“Amaz—”
Boom—!!
Before An Qingyu could finish, everything in front of him was instantly torn apart. A dark red thick beam of light pierced through the mist, vaporizing half of his body!
The world-destroying aura overwhelmed An Qingyu’s consciousness. Ten seconds later, his body regenerated and reassembled, and the scene before him became clear again.
The gray mist had been blasted open into a huge hole. The dark red light beam gradually dissipated in the air. At the end of the hole dozens of kilometers away, a demonic face with fanged jaws grinned coldly.
From the corner of his eye, An Qingyu saw the black coffin fragments gradually falling from the clouds, and his pupils suddenly contracted!
That dark red demonic light beam had not only torn apart his body but also shattered the black coffin beneath his feet!
“Jiang Er!!” An Qingyu cried out, his body continuously falling under the effect of gravity.
At that moment, half a cracked coffin board flew up from below, steadily catching An Qingyu’s body. Ghost-like Jiang Er floated in front of him, comforting him softly:
“I’m fine… I’m fine.”
“What about your physical body?!”
“Although I lost part of my body, they were all already dead muscle tissues. The brain wasn’t damaged.”
Hearing this, An Qingyu finally breathed a sigh of relief. His body damage could recover, but Jiang Er’s couldn’t. Her existence relied on the magnetic field of her brain. If her physical body died completely, Jiang Er wouldn’t be far from disappearing.
As they were talking, a massive shadow covered the ground. Lucifer stood in the clouds with eight wings on his back, his expression somewhat surprised.
“Still conscious… worthy of being the Gate of Truth.”
He reached out, grabbing the air, and several air demons surrounded An Qingyu and Jiang Er. Their abyss-like giant mouths completely sealed off all escape routes.
Lucifer extended one hand, pointed at An Qingyu, and slowly said:
“You, come here.”
An Qingyu stared at Lucifer, a faint light flickering in his eyes, seemingly still trying to think of a way out.
Seeing this, Lucifer narrowed his eyes. He raised his right hand, and an air demon opened its mouth above his hand, spitting out half of the fragmented black coffin.
“This corpse seems very important to you? If you don’t come over, do you believe I’ll crush it right now?” Lucifer’s lips curled into a cold smile as he spoke calmly.
