Chapter 1251 Entering Asgard

Seeing this smile, Lin Qiye’s heart stirred.

Although Ji Nian was covered in wounds, her smiling eyes remained incredibly bright.

Was she deliberately captured?

This thought suddenly appeared in Lin Qiye’s mind.

Before Lin Qiye could think further, Ji Nian followed Hodur and walked in front of him.

Ji Nian gently shook her head, her silver-white hair flowing like a waterfall in the wind, brushing against Lin Qiye’s chest.

Vaguely, a shadow flew out from within her hair, silently falling into Lin Qiye’s arms.

Lin Qiye felt something like a thin plate brush past his collar, lightly adhering to the skin of his chest, emitting a faint coolness.

This movement was natural and casual, without any spiritual energy fluctuation, and the four Asgardian gods flying in front of Lin Qiye didn’t notice anything unusual.

Lin Qiye silently wrapped his clothes tighter, a gleam flashing in the depths of his eyes as he followed the gods toward Asgard.

…

Asgard.

Si Xiaonan pushed open the spacious palace doors, stepped on the black carved bricks, and finally stopped in front of the throne deep within the palace.

“Lord Loki,” she said, lowering her head.

Dressed in black robes, Loki sat casually on the throne, one hand resting on the armrest, his fingertips holding two exquisite pill containers, gently swaying them.

The muffled sound of the pills colliding with the container walls, like a demon’s whisper, echoed throughout the silent palace.

After a long while, Loki’s narrow eyes finally shifted from the two pill containers in his hand to Si Xiaonan below.

“Have Thor and the others returned?” he asked flatly.

“Not yet.”

“Interesting…” Loki’s eyebrows raised slightly as he squinted at Si Xiaonan, “I asked you to find a way to get them away from Asgard, and you actually succeeded…

My dear Xiaonan, how did you manage it?”

Si Xiaonan’s expression remained perfectly calm, “I tricked them with an unverified message about finding the Hero King’s treasure.”

“The Hero King’s treasure?” Loki asked with surprise.

A moment later, he shrugged and leaned back against the chair, “It doesn’t matter. Gilgamesh’s treasury cannot be controlled without the [King] rule. Even if they’re lucky enough to find it, they can’t bring it back to Asgard.”

Hearing this, Si Xiaonan’s eyes narrowed imperceptibly.

Loki’s fingers unconsciously tapped the armrest, a smile curling at the corner of his mouth:

“At such a critical time, they dare to leave Asgard for so long… they’re truly seeking death.”

Loki slowly stood up from the throne, walked down the steps, and approached Si Xiaonan, stopping in front of her.

He reached out his hand, gently brushing Si Xiaonan’s black hair at her temple, his narrow eyes squinting, as if smiling, yet emanating a dangerous light like a venomous snake:

“With the Eternal Immortality Pill you brought back, I will soon reach the Supreme God realm and control Asgard…

Don’t you agree?”

Si Xiaonan’s body trembled.

After a long while, she finally opened her lips and said hoarsely:

“…Lord Loki will certainly become Asgard’s new God King.”

Loki gazed into Si Xiaonan’s eyes for a moment, then shifted his gaze toward the magnificent giant door at the end of the dim temple.

He reached out and patted Si Xiaonan’s shoulder, neither too hard nor too soft.

“Once I control Asgard, I’ll release you from our proxy contract. Whether you want to stay or return to Great Xia… I won’t stop you.”

The moment she heard these words, Si Xiaonan’s pupils suddenly contracted.

Loki’s promise was extremely tempting to her.

But soon, Si Xiaonan calmed her mind, took a deep breath, and spoke calmly:

“I’ll stay. Besides here… I have nowhere else to go.”

Loki glanced at her indifferently, turned around and walked back toward the throne,

“Help me spread the news that eight days from now, I will ascend to the Supreme realm at the Miracle Square of Asgard.”

Si Xiaonan frowned, asking in confusion:

“You plan to challenge the Supreme realm publicly? Aren’t you afraid of interference from Thor and the others? And why choose eight days from now?”

Loki’s black royal robe swept across the cold steps as he casually reclined on the throne, his eyes emanating a cold light as he glanced at Si Xiaonan below:

“You’re asking too many questions.”

“…Yes.”

Seeing this, Si Xiaonan could only nod in agreement and turn to leave the palace.

Creeeeak!

The palace doors closed.

In the dim palace, Loki, lying on the throne, slowly raised the two pill containers.

His eyes reflected the shadows of the containers, gleaming with brilliance.

…

Asgard.

Rainbow Bridge.

A beam of light streaked across the sky, landing at the other end of the Rainbow Bridge, and several figures emerged from it.

Lin Qiye followed behind Vidar, the Forest God, his eyes scanning the surroundings, beginning to carefully observe this Nordic realm of gods.

So far, he had only seen Great Xia’s Celestial Court and the devastated Japanese Takamagahara. This divine realm before him was clearly much larger than Takamagahara and full of vitality.

Exquisite Western temples were scattered across the pristine white land, magnificent and splendid. In the distance, divine mountains soared into the clouds, and among the misty clouds, one could see the shadowy outline of a broken palace under repair.

In terms of scale, this place seemed comparable to Great Xia’s Celestial Court, but the difference was that it lacked the ethereal spiritual energy that permeated the Celestial Court.

This… was the home of the Norse gods, Asgard.

Lin Qiye followed the gods to the edge of the Rainbow Bridge, where a giant sword, like a mountain peak, was thrust at the junction of the Rainbow Bridge and Asgard.

Is that the legendary Holy Rainbow Sword that controls the opening and closing of the Rainbow Bridge?

Lin Qiye’s eyes narrowed as he carefully examined the Holy Rainbow Sword, seemingly trying to engrave every detail in his mind.

The moment he saw this sword, Thor frowned:

“Heimdall hasn’t returned yet?”

“No,” the blind god Hodur shook his head and said, “After that day, although Heimdall regained his human form, his mental state completely collapsed. He’s been in seclusion at the foot of the divine mountain and has never returned to the Rainbow Bridge.”

“Damn those Great Xia gods!” War God Tyr seemed to recall something as he looked at his empty right arm, rage appearing in his eyes,

“This grudge… I must avenge!”

Thor said nothing, just calmly walked to the giant sword thrust into the Rainbow Bridge, gripped the hilt, and forcefully pulled it out bit by bit.

The giant sword was very heavy; even Thor’s forehead bulged with blue veins.

With a humming sound, the giant sword was completely pulled out, and the Rainbow Bridge behind began to rapidly recede until only a small section remained exposed at the edge of Asgard.

The beam of light that had brought everyone back to Asgard also completely disappeared without a trace.

“Let’s go,” Thor said flatly, carrying the Holy Rainbow Sword on his back.

The gods followed behind Thor, stepping onto Asgard’s pristine white ground. Lin Qiye trailed at the back, looking back at the broken bridge.

In his eyes appeared a trace of helplessness and determination.

With the Rainbow Bridge closed and the Holy Rainbow Sword taken away by Thor, Asgard was completely isolated from the world, becoming a solitary island. Those inside couldn’t get out, and those outside couldn’t get in.

From this moment on, his retreat path was cut off.

The future of Great Xia, as well as his life and death, weighed on his shoulders like a heavy mountain.
