Chapter 1063
by fanqienovelChapter 1063: The Thousand Mountains of Despair
Hearing avatar number two’s words, Li Xuandao swallowed hard.
"Let’s go; you don’t have to agree right now," said avatar number two with a smile as he returned to the Immortal Hidden Ship.
Once everything from the Fairy Mansion was gathered onto the Immortal Hidden Ship, a massive teleportation formation instantly enveloped the ship and then transported it outside the Qianhun Realm.
The Immortal Hidden Ship flew toward the Wuwang Immortal Realm again.
…………
In the Southern Dipper Immortal Realm, Han Feiyu trudged through the treacherous Thousand Mountains of Despair with the Mechanical Puppet.
It felt as if a heavy burden pressed down on him, making every step a great test of his physical strength.
"If I had known, I should have paid more attention to the body refinement techniques earlier."
"If Senior Brother were here, he definitely wouldn’t be in such a sorry state," Han Feiyu said as he struggled toward a giant rock not far away.
His legs trembled, his spirit suppressed, and he could only rely on pure physical strength to move in this realm of heavy gravity.
"Temporary host, I recommend that you do not rest now," the Mechanical Puppet Xiao A advised.
"I feel like my legs are going to break; if I keep going, I’ll surely die in this desolate place."
Along the way, he had seen the bones of countless beings from the human race and various other races, all crushed by the overwhelming gravity, forever resting here.
"According to my scans, there is a cave at the foot of the mountain ahead; you will be able to rest better there," the Mechanical Puppet Xiao A pointed to the foot of the mountain ten miles away.
"If I walk over there, I’ll be completely useless!"
"Xiao A, I see you have no trouble walking in this area; can’t you carry me?" This was the third time Han Feiyu asked.
"With my current kinetic energy, I can barely resist the gravity of this area. If I carry you, I will malfunction after a hundred miles."
"Does the temporary host wish to execute the command to be carried?"
"Once I carry you, the damage to me will be irreversible," the Mechanical Puppet Xiao A replied, looking at Han Feiyu.
"Then you must have enough strength to at least help me; the gravitational force here is incredibly strong."
"Being completely suppressed here, the only thing I can do is retrieve items from the space of the celestial tool," Han Feiyu said, gritting his teeth as he used his spiritual energy to take out a bottle of ten-thousand-year-old stalactite from the space of the celestial tool.
After popping the cork, he drank it all in one go and casually tossed the bottle to the ground.
Once the bottle left Han Feiyu’s hand, it rapidly fell to the earth, and the powerful gravitational force crushed the jade bottle into powder.
"Why am I so unlucky? I finally arrived in the Southern Dipper Immortal Realm and ended up in this dire situation."
"If I hadn’t reacted quickly and used all my spiritual energy to bring over those hundred or so maidens into the space of the celestial tool, I’d probably be left here alone without anyone to talk to," Han Feiyu sighed.
He had been walking in this desolate place for three days and nights, and if it weren’t for the many life-saving spirit objects and pills in the Ziyu gourd, he would have become one of the bones in this despair.
"Hang in there; this desolate area is perilous, but it has great benefits for your spirit and body."
"As long as you can walk out of this predicament, both your body and spirit will be instantly elevated."
"Plus, since you have already touched upon the Golden Immortal realm, you might be able to break through to the Golden Immortal in one go," the Mechanical Puppet Xiao A encouraged.
"Give me more of this morale boost; otherwise, I’m afraid I won’t be able to make it out of this desolate place," Han Feiyu said, slightly out of breath.
"Also, does your database have information about this desolate area? Otherwise, how would you know there are benefits after leaving it?"
"In Lord Grape’s database, this desolate area is known as the Thousand Mountains of Despair in the Southern Dipper Immortal Realm."
"Only Golden Immortals and those below can enter."
"The Thousand Mountains of Despair is incredibly vast; to walk out, you would need to cover ten thousand miles on foot," the Mechanical Puppet Xiao A said calmly.
"Ten thousand miles!!!" Han Feiyu was too shocked to speak for a moment.
"Why didn’t you tell me this earlier!"
Han Feiyu felt a wave of frustration; walking ten thousand miles in this desolate area seemed worse than dying and being reborn.
"If I had told you from the start, you might have given up from the pressure."
"That was something I absolutely couldn’t allow," the Mechanical Puppet Xiao A said.
"How far have I walked in these three days?" Han Feiyu asked desperately.
"Nine miles."
"However, according to Xiao A’s observations, your body is gradually getting stronger. As long as you adapt to the gravitational force of this desolate area, your speed will increase."
"You might be able to cover ten thousand miles within ninety years," the Mechanical Puppet Xiao A added.
"The life-saving items I have might not last that long," Han Feiyu said, struggling with each step.
"Don’t worry; I’m analyzing the energy in this desolate area. Once I finish, I can provide enough support for you."
"I remember there’s armor in the sect that can protect my whole body. Could you get me a set that uses the gravitational force here as power to help me move faster?" Han Feiyu suggested.
"I’m working on that now," the Mechanical Puppet Xiao A replied.
Han Feiyu sighed and pushed his limits, walking for half a day.
Then he took out a bottle of ten-thousand-year-old stalactite and drank it.
"Luckily, I bought a lake’s worth of this stuff."
After a short rest, Han Feiyu set off again, gritting his teeth and walking three miles a day toward the cave.
Just as he was about to reach the cave, a sudden eagle call echoed in the sky.
Han Feiyu looked up to see a giant eagle with a wingspan of ten yards.
"Don’t worry," the Mechanical Puppet Xiao Wei said, producing a giant spear.
The spear glowed with a bright crimson light, ready to strike.
"Xiao A, what is this treasure!" Han Feiyu asked, his eyes lighting up.
He remembered seeing a similar treasure in the hands of his Uncle Master before.
"This is a non-spiritual spatial vibration laser gun, powered by Spatial Energy," the Mechanical Puppet Xiao A explained.
At that moment, the giant eagle soared toward Han Feiyu at an incredible speed, creating a blur in the sky.
Its massive claws seemed capable of crushing Han Feiyu’s skull with ease.
As he looked at the giant eagle approaching him, Han Feiyu thought of the headless corpses he had seen along the way.
Just then, a crimson beam shot out toward the giant eagle.
A spatial force expanded from the beam, allowing it to pierce through the eagle’s head directly.
At this point, the giant eagle was less than a hundred yards away from Han Feiyu.
After the beam pierced through its head, it fell toward Han Feiyu like a rock.
"Dang it, Xiao A, you’re trying to kill me!!" Han Feiyu gathered all his strength and tried to escape the giant eagle’s falling range.
Crack!
Han Feiyu was still struck by the giant eagle’s massive wing on his leg.
