The giant hand slowly lifted to reveal a stone egg beneath it, with Zhou Kailing sealed inside.

At that moment, a spiritual light shone in the sky.

A Void Teleportation Portal appeared, and Xu Fan, dressed in loose robes, emerged before the group of rock giants.

“Excuse me, what has my disciple done to provoke you?” Xu Fan looked at the indescribable substance atop the heads of the rock giants.

“I apologize on behalf of my disciple and hope you’ll forgive her,” Xu Fan said politely.

“Your disciple must pay with her life today!” the leading rock giant shouted in anger.

“Master, I choose the third option to wipe their memories. It is my fault after all,” Zhou Kailing thought for a moment and decided, knowing the stone spirits held no grudge against the human race.

Xu Fan nodded, and then the space in the area instantly froze.

Heavy rain began to pour from the sky, washing away the filth from the rock giants’ heads.

Afterward, all the rock giants looked dazed, turning to return to their original hiding and cultivation spots.

Once all of this was done, Xu Fan looked up at the gigantic stone spirit towering thousands of feet high.

“Human, this matter is settled. Please depart; I wish to continue my slumber,” the giant stone spirit intoned, being the only one not affected by the memory wipe initiated by Xu Fan.

Xu Fan glanced around at the surroundings and then at the towering Stone Spirit.

“I refused when the Golden Winged Roc came to invite me.”

“Now that you’re asking, my answer remains the same,” the Stone Spirit Giant Mountain replied slowly, hoping Xu Fan was a reasonable person.

His disciple had just insulted his kin, and he had chosen to forgive her; surely Xu Fan wouldn’t be so unreasonable as to force him away.

“Alright,” Xu Fan nodded, then reached out toward the Giant Mountain.

A massive hand appeared in the sky, completely enveloping the towering Stone Spirit Giant Mountain, and then sealed it within his grasp.

The Giant Mountain transformed into a small, peak-like stone and landed in Xu Fan’s hand.

Zhou Kailing watched in stunned silence.

“I knew you’d cause trouble sooner or later,” Xu Fan said, half-laughing, half-scolding Zhou Kailing.

“Master, I really didn’t mean to; otherwise, I wouldn’t have tested that power on them,” Zhou Kailing explained.

“Be more careful next time. This kind of thing won’t just blow over,” Xu Fan said.

“I understand, Master,” Zhou Kailing nodded.

“Since we’re here, let’s visit an old friend,” Xu Fan said, stepping into the Void Teleportation Portal with Zhou Kailing.

Meanwhile, in the City of All Demons, the Earth Spirit Spider, now fully human, gazed at the sky with a troubled expression.

“With the Golden Winged Roc subdued, and the Purple Jade Flood Dragon and Golden Devourer Tiger turned into dishes, does this mean the beast race is doomed forever?” the Earth Spirit Spider lamented.

“Not necessarily. If you’re strong enough, you can lead the beast race back to glory,” Xu Fan said as he and Zhou Kailing appeared behind the Earth Spirit Spider.

“Master, you’re here!” the Earth Spirit Spider exclaimed, delighted to see Xu Fan.

Xu Fan nodded.

“Just passing by to check on you. You’ve been doing well, I see,” Xu Fan said with a smile.

He scanned the City of All Demons with his consciousness, noting six beast kings and two Invincible Beast Kings—undoubtedly a top-tier force within the beast race.

“Master, you jest. The beast race has already fallen, and for the next few thousand years, we’ll be hunted by the human race,” the Earth Spirit Spider said with a bitter smile.

“Master, was it you who subdued the Golden Winged Roc? How did the dishes made from the Purple Jade Flood Dragon and Golden Devourer Tiger taste?” the Earth Spirit Spider asked curiously.

“How do they taste? Why not try them yourself?” Xu Fan waved his hand, and a dining table appeared.

On the table were six cold and six hot dishes, along with two jugs of wine.

Xu Fan discreetly put one jug of Tianyang Wine away.

“Master, you subdued the Golden Winged Roc and didn’t even tell me about such a big event,” Zhou Kailing said, sounding a little hurt.
