Translator Recruitment
Hello, I’m WuWang. We are paying translators at the price of $0.5 per 1,000 views. If you are interested and want to be one of our translators, please read this page and I will tell you the whole process.
First, pick up a novel you want to translate (Chinese, Japanese, or Korean. The novel you choose may have been translated, please search for it on https://www.novelupdates.com/ to see if it has been translated), translate its novel title, summary, and chapter one, then send your translation (along with its raw link so we will know which novel it is) to gravitytales@163.com or DM me on Discord (https://discord.com/invite/Rcw4NPsyTb).
I will read your translation and get back to you in two days. If you have received a positive reply and agree to serialize your translation on our website, please create an account and tell me your username. I will change your role to author and then give you permission to post chapters for this novel.
After the first chapter is posted, if you know how to submit this novel on Novel Updates, you can do it yourself; if you don’t know, I will do it for you.
You can also serialize the novel’s translation simultaneously on other websites, but you need to inform me before you do it (just to let me know that it’s not pirated). You can also publish advanced chapters on Patreon or other platforms at your will. You don’t have to give us a share.
At the end of each month, I will count the views of each novel (displayed on the index page of each novel). $0.5 = 1K views, and then I will pay translators via PayPal. For example, on this page (https://gravitytales.com/index.php/category/xianxia/martial-sister/), it shows that the overall views of this novel are 176,684 (up to now), so it’s 176.684 * 0.5 = 88.342 dollars. If there are 20k new views the next month, I need to pay the translator $10 the next month.
If I forget to pay you at the end of the month, please remind me. It can happen because I’m too busy sometimes.

Don’t they pay per hour

They are not hired to be our translators. We just give them a platform to publish their translated novels. If they want to leave, they can go with their translation anytime. It’s different.
