Chen Fei slowly opened his eyes.

He had reached the peak of the Advanced Core Formation Realm.

This wasn’t just due to the abundant spiritual energy inside the Purple Cleansing Palace, or even the insights gained from combat—but more importantly, it was thanks to the icy power he received from Cold Moon during their union.

Now, the Ice Dao Mark had completely solidified on the Void Heaven Cauldron, becoming another of Chen Fei’s official Dao Marks!

Cold Moon seemed to sense Chen Fei’s gaze, but she kept her eyes shut, her lashes trembling slightly as she resisted the urge to open them.

Chen Fei smiled knowingly and tiptoed away.

She sighed softly, looking toward Chen Fei in the distance. When she saw him sneaking away like a guilty child, a smile couldn’t help but form on her lips.

Both of them knew what had happened—but the window between them still remained unbroken.

“Troublemaker,” she muttered. Though Peach Blossom’s formation had influenced her desires, it was mostly that last experience that had left a lasting impression.

Some things simply couldn’t be forgotten.

Once her shyness passed, Cold Moon’s eyes flashed with surprise.

“There’s a saying—yin and yang in harmony…” she murmured. “So it was true!”

She could clearly feel her wounds fully healed, and her cultivation had reached the peak of the Mystic Realm!

If this expedition ended smoothly, she might even break through to the Human Dao Realm!

Cold Moon nodded. “This time, we’ll definitely give that demoness Peach Blossom a surprise. Unfortunately, I can’t enter the Tiandang Secret Realm. You’ll need to be careful.”

It might’ve been awkward just thinking about things, but saying it out loud made it feel… not so bad.

Hearing her words, Chen Fei didn’t waste time. He immediately led her out of the Purple Cleansing Palace.

“Senior Sister Cold Moon, don’t forget—I can use Evil God’s Aura,” Chen Fei said with a smirk.

To him, the Evil God’s finger was an invaluable asset.

Cold Moon glanced at the outside world.

The previously faint miasma within Mount Tiandang had become thick and oppressive. Amid the haze, flickers of red light began to shine.

“When that red light turns to gold, it means the secret realm is opening. But inside, aside from the evil cultivators, you need to watch out for certain beings—or rather, former people… the Wanderers.”

Her expression grew solemn.

Chen Fei had read about the Wanderers before. “They were once powerful cultivators, weren’t they?”

“When the secret realm opens, they’ll be drawn in as well. And they attack indiscriminately—so long as you don’t have traces of miasma on your body, they’ll view you as an enemy.”

She paused and looked at him seriously.

“Some of these Wanderers might even be Mystic Realm experts.”

Chen Fei raised his eyebrows. So… it’s like opening a mystery box?

“I thought Mystic Realm cultivators couldn’t enter the Tiandang Secret Realm?” he asked.

“These Wanderers are exceptions. Their bodies reside inside Tiandang Mountain, so they’re not bound by the entry restrictions. If we use special methods, we can bypass it too.”

Cold Moon’s eyes narrowed. “The sacrificial ritual in Lin Nan City wasn’t just for me—it’s how Peach Blossom plans to enter the secret realm herself.”

Chen Fei frowned. “Senior Sister… then you—”

Cold Moon smiled bitterly. “From what I know, entering the Tiandang Secret Realm this way comes at a heavy cost. So…”

Chen Fei thought for a moment, then said, “What if I bring you in using the Purple Cleansing Palace, and let you out once we’re inside? Would that work?”

Cold Moon froze—then her eyes lit up.

“That… might just work!”

Spatial abodes like Purple Cleansing Palace were rare—even Heaven Dao cultivators couldn’t claim to have one.

But Chen Fei had it. And due to its unique nature, it might be able to bypass the secret realm’s rules entirely.

“Then let’s try it! Honestly, I’m looking forward to the look on Peach Blossom’s face when she sees us!” Chen Fei grinned.

Although he’d benefitted greatly from this ordeal, he hadn’t forgotten how vicious Peach Blossom’s methods were.

He’d never been played like that before.

But now… his strength had improved immensely. Not only had he reached the peak of the Advanced Core Formation Realm, but after being beaten senseless by that mysterious figure conjured by the Void Heaven Cauldron, his understanding of combat had evolved drastically.

All he needed now was a real battlefield to test it out.
