Chapter 255: Absorbing the Dao Armors
by SurroundedbyBooksCold Moon’s expression shifted slightly. The formation surrounding her was incredibly strange—even when using her Mystic Realm power, she couldn’t break it. Worse, the more she froze the leering pink faces, the more lustful pink mist invaded her body!
She could feel her body heating up, and in her mind, vivid images of Chen Fei’s strong, sculpted physique flashed uncontrollably.
“Bastard!” Cold Moon flushed and cursed through gritted teeth.
At that moment, Chen Fei’s eyes snapped open.
The seductive women surrounding him recoiled in fear, trying to scatter like frightened birds.
But Chen Fei formed a hand seal, summoning the Five Elements Yin-Yang Seal: “Metal Seal—release!”
With metal’s innate sharpness and penetrative force, the seal cut through the air like a blade through silk, tearing the space before him.
The seductive figures made from pink mist were instantly shredded.
Clarity returned to Chen Fei’s eyes as he turned to see Cold Moon’s disheveled state. His expression hardened, and he gripped the Edge-less Greatsword: “Void Severing Slash!”
Cold Moon took a deep breath, her icy aura freezing the entire space. A white longsword floated in front of her, vibrating gently as it locked onto Peach Blossom.
Peach Blossom’s smile stiffened. “Hehe… As expected of Heaven-Smite’s Saintess… You really are full of surprises.”
Before she could react, the longsword appeared in front of her in an instant.
She cried out and hastily summoned a flurry of peach blossoms that collided with the sword to block it.
“Damn it! Stop them—NOW!” she screamed, turning toward Liu Shan.
Liu Shan, still clad in his Demonic Armor, didn’t hesitate. He rushed at Chen Fei like a predator.
“Liu Shan!” Chen Fei’s eyes flashed coldly. “If I could defeat you once, I can do it again.”
He lightly shook the Edge-less Greatsword, forming the Axe Dao Seal.
Liu Shan sneered. “I was going to play with you for a while… but now you die! Demonic Devour—Heaven Swallowing Qi!”
A dark purple aura surged from his armor, and a towering demonic figure formed behind him, its energy materializing into a wall of sheer might, blocking Chen Fei’s strike.
Though surprised, Chen Fei didn’t stop. His sword techniques crashed down like relentless waves, hammering Liu Shan’s defense.
Meanwhile, Cold Moon turned pale and coughed up blood. With trembling fingers, she formed hand seals, summoning a silver-white dragon behind her.
At the moment it materialized, the dragon’s eyes snapped open.
A frigid wind howled—the entire space froze.
Liu Shan’s movements became sluggish, while Chen Fei’s greatsword now carried enough force to terrify even seasoned cultivators.
He wouldn’t miss this chance: “Thousand Phantom Slash!”
With sixteenfold power enhancement, the sword cut through the demonic energy like tofu, then slammed down on Liu Shan’s shoulder.
Rip—!
Liu Shan was almost cleaved in two.
Before Chen Fei could press the advantage, Cold Moon’s weakened voice called out, “Go… quickly! I can’t hold them off much longer!”
Chen Fei’s heart jolted. He looked back and saw her trembling, about to collapse.
Without hesitation, he flashed to her side and caught her in his arms.
Cold Moon instinctively struggled—but soon her feverish body melted against him, her head burying into his chest. She couldn’t even meet his gaze.
“You want to leave? Stay right there! Demonic Soldier Armor—activate!” Peach Blossom roared in fury.
If Chen Fei and Cold Moon escaped, not only would all her schemes be for nothing, her entire operation would be exposed—a price she couldn’t afford!
Six towering figures appeared in front of Chen Fei.
Fangs bared and weapons drawn—giant axes, long blades—they moved stiffly, but their coordinated assault instantly sealed off all escape routes.
With enemies behind and in front, it was a desperate situation.
Cold Moon gritted her teeth and said, “Those are Demonic Soldier Armors—a type of cursed Dao Weapon. Their attacks can reach Mystic Realm levels! Be careful! But since they’re artificial, they have weaknesses. I’ll guide you to—”
“No need for that much trouble.” Chen Fei interrupted calmly.
The Void Heaven Cauldron floated out, instantly forming a protective barrier around them both.
Cold Moon frowned. That was too reckless.
Peach Blossom saw this and smirked. “Still so cocky, little brother?”
The Demonic Armors struck.
The Void Heaven Cauldron simply… trembled slightly—just once.
Then, with unstoppable might, it slammed into one of the nearest armored giants.
The armor shuddered violently—and then something strange happened.
A pulling force radiated from the cauldron, draining the essence from inside the demonic armor.
Peach Blossom’s expression changed. She quickly altered her spell, but her face twisted in disbelief. “What’s going on?! The sacred weapon… isn’t responding?!”
Before she could react, one of the armors exploded into fragments, and Chen Fei dashed out like a streak of light.
“You dare destroy a sacred Dao weapon?!” Peach Blossom’s voice cracked with fear and rage.
She had borrowed the Demonic Soldier Armors just for this operation—and now, part of them were destroyed!
The consequences of failure filled her with dread.
“Don’t just stand there! Stop him! If he escapes, you’ll all die with me!” she shrieked, nearly hysterical.
A flood of powerful auras locked onto Chen Fei.
His expression darkened.
This was a dangerous situation. Cold Moon had clearly suffered internal damage—if she didn’t find a safe place to recover, her cultivation could collapse entirely.
Most of the enemies blocking their way were late-stage Yuan Realm, not a threat individually—but if he were slowed down even briefly, Peach Blossom would catch up, and that was real trouble.
Without hesitation, Chen Fei darted toward a distant mountain—Mount Tiandang.
Mount Tiandang was a forbidden zone. Although the hidden realm within was about to open soon, even demonic cultivators didn’t dare enter carelessly.
This unexpected move caught the pursuing enemies off guard. By the time they recovered from their shock, Chen Fei and Cold Moon had already disappeared into the misty veil of Mount Tiandang.
Cold Moon glanced at the dense fog ahead, her heart heavy.
With their current strength, entering the forbidden zone was little better than walking into death.
But considering what had just happened, Chen Fei’s decision was absolutely correct.
She looked up at Chen Fei’s profile, her cheeks glowing red again.
If she had to die together with him like this…
Maybe it wouldn’t be such a bad ending after all.
