It took quite a while of pulling and persuading before I finally managed to calm the boss down.
Shuo Yan spat in frustration, still unwilling to let it go. “Fine, I’ll let that bastard off this time.”
“Phew… Boss, you don’t need to worry too much. No matter how powerful that weird loli is, there’s no way she can keep us like this forever. Sooner or later, we’ll find a way to turn back,” I said, letting out a breath of relief as I tried to comfort her.
“I hope so… sigh. Didn’t you see the way my little sister looked at me when I went home today? She practically treated me like the family mascot! She kept trying to hug me all the time. She used to admire me so much, but now my tall, mighty image is completely gone…”
Shuo Yan complained bitterly. Back then, Xiao Shuo used to follow her everywhere like a little tail, sweetly calling her “big brother.” Whenever she was bullied, she would tug at her clothes and cry to her for help, how adorable that was.
But now… she seemed to treat her like a child instead. Infuriating.

The boss put her hands on her slender waist, tilting her head up proudly as she spoke, as if Xiao Shuo were her personal masterpiece.
Looking at the smug smile on the brown-haired girl’s face, I couldn’t help but think, honestly, I feel like you’re the cuter one.
In terms of appearance, Xiao Shuo is more like an older version of Shuo Yan, leaning more toward elegant beauty than pure cuteness.
But Shuo Yan herself is the very definition of adorable, the kind of girl who’d probably cry for ages if you lightly punched her.

She took it out, unlocked the screen, and opened the chat.
Curious, I leaned over to see who it was.
The avatar was a fairly ordinary anime-style picture, two girls cuddling together.
Their chat history started last night, just a few simple greetings.
【Why didn’t you stream today? Didn’t you say you usually stream on Saturday and Sunday afternoons?】

“This seems to be that big spender who sent me several rockets last time! He messaged me last night and added me,” Shuo Yan explained.

At the start of the first match, there were only a handful of viewers trickling in.
Then the big spender immediately sent another rocket.

Shuo Yan exclaimed happily. The feeling of receiving donations during a stream gave her a sense of recognition, it made her genuinely happy.
She also wanted to share that joy with others. After all, her original intention for streaming was simply to enjoy games together with everyone.
With that one rocket, the stream’s popularity surged, and the viewer count gradually increased.
The accounts Shuo Yan and I were using were in Platinum rank, not too high, not too low, exactly the tier most streamers prefer.
Go any higher and you hit Diamond, if you lose badly, you’d get mocked and lose viewers. Go lower and it’s Gold, too low, and even wins get called “smurfing.” Platinum is just right.
With Shuo Yan’s Master-level skills, we went on a winning streak, barely losing at all. Being lazy, I picked Yuumi several matches in a row and just attached myself to her.

Were they really watching a female streamer just to learn gameplay?
No, they were here to watch two little “lolis” act cute.
They probably thought two lolis couldn’t have any real skill, figuring we’d lose and let out cute whining sounds. If they could even hear some suggestive noises, it’d be a huge win for them.
But instead, we played like two absolute beasts, crushing our way up the ranks.
