The little fox began chanting an ancient incantation. The weapon shone with radiant light, resonating with her soul as it entered an awakened state.
From the awakened artifact spread wave after wave of mysterious energy, sweeping rapidly across the Sealed Land. Every shadowy demon within this space was struck by the waves, and halted in place.
“No… no! How dare you?! How dare you! Stop this at once!”
The evil manifestation’s expression shifted from arrogance to panic as the tide turned. Now it was the one shouting desperately at the little fox.
Yue Liu ignored it and drew Sakura Moon from its sheath.
“Sever All Evil!”
Xia Yi felt the space before her blur. In the next instant, the Sealed Land fell completely silent once more.
The raging shadows, the evil manifestation, and even the little fox had all vanished, leaving only Xia Yi and Little Red behind.
A phantom image of Sakura Moon floated in midair, serving as the anchor of an ongoing barrier.
“They’re gone?”
Just as Xia Yi was about to ask Little Red what had happened, she recalled their first battle.
